  I need help.  I have a problem with my opinion of Client on a Windows XP SP3 computer.  When I click on connect, I get the following message immediately:

  "Failed to connect to the view connection server. Verify that the server connection mode address and network settings are correct. »

  A few details:

  My client's IP address is on the same subnet as the view connection server

  There is no firewall and DNS solves the login server see very well.  Here is the output of my customer's orders

  If I open a browser on the XP workstation which is a failure, I can go to https://dd-view.viewdomain.com.  It displays the page that I need to connect with View Client. What do I think, so this should check the connectivity between the two.

  LAST IMPORTANT NOTE: I have the same version of the Client view (5.1.0 build-704644) installed on another Windows 7 workstation on the same subnet and it connects to my view connection server office pool very well.

  I tried to install the three versions of the customer view of this system of XP SP3 including the latest version, when the connection after installation, they all fail the same way. My body needs to function. The client machines can not move to something more recent to Windows XP SP3 because I am not the administrator for them.

  Any ideas?  Is this a bug or is Windows XP SP3 just not supported with view 5.1?

  Political of McAffee HBSS blocked 443 attempts out of the customer to view.

  The difference is that the Windows 7 machine that worked was becoming another policy HBSS applied to what was not blocking attempts.

  Yes.  There are several alternatives.  I found a way relatively inexpensive, using a map of mSATA (very small SSD) and an adapter to connect it to the connector IDE 44 pin internal of my PowerBook.  It works very well.  Rather than repeat what I posted previously, you can watch these two topics (which also has good info, other users)

  Well, the Tecra A9 already supports SATA interface and there is no limit of capacity on SATA interface, so you can install a 500 GB HARD drive or more (750 GB, etc.). Just make sure that it s 2.5 SATA HDD.

  You can choose each brand of HARD drive because each model will not work. You can buy a Toshiba HDD, Western Digital HARD drive or another. No problem ;)

  Your question is a bit hard to understand, but I think you want to replace the HARD drive with another (faster) model, right?

  Well, that s no problem. 7200 RPM hard drives works, they are a little stronger, but they're faster so if you need more performance without problem.
  750 GB or more are also no problem because the SATA interface is not the limited capacity. Theoretically 1 TB or more should also work.

  Anyway, you can buy the 750Go you mentioned that it will work. :)

  The combo fan/heater several months ago, I bought for my T60 was apparently the 41W6409 for a T60 with discreet gpu and cpu, but mine is an integrated model that uses the 41W6408.

  As I can't return it, I was just thinking to replace the old fan with that on the new heatsink. But I'm not sure that it will fit, being the only FRU I could find for the Fan/Heatsink combo.

  So, I was wondering if someone here who happened to know if these fans are the same.

  Steve, you can use the unobtrusive radiator on your integrated motherboard. In fact, the best option in my opinion is to go with a T61 heatsink that is designed to cool the much more powerful X 3100 graphics and uses the thermal paste rather than pads type blade of silicone used to cool graphic systems T60. Alternatively, you can replace these pads with thermal paste on the heatsink T60 but unity T61 is better in my opinion. I can't tell you if the fans are interchangeable, because there was more than one fan used on the T60 models intel, some were, and some were not. There was also a discreet couple different sinks of heat, but will be more than enough for the cooling of your integrated graphics. Platform which cools the discrete gpu will not be used so it isn't a problem and cooling chipset platform will suffice for the cooling of your integrated graphics.

  -Wide product displayed by default, click left and right you have a cursor of all images of poplet

  -Hover over the big picture without clicking, it's a zoom of the image or (which I think would be better) you click that or one of the poplet images and you have a model coming with a larger image.

• Mirage Pivot fails when you are using software that replaces the Windows Login (GINA) as Imprivata

  When you try to perform a migration recently at a client site the pivot process has not completed as planned because of Imprivata. Imprivata is a SINGLE sign that seems to replace the Windows GINA and provides a custom login screen.

  During an attempt of the Pivot process (Mirage 4.3) the start of Windows Update screen does not appear and the standard Windows login is displayed. When you manually login customer Mirage shows the USMT process is underway. This allows users to log in and is generally not the process but it does not complete the USMT process and join the domain.

  This is due to the customer Imprivata, although we suspect that would happen with any product which replaces GINA of Windows.

  Workaround solution:

  We are uninstalling the client of the base image Imprivata and try to apply this to be an application layer or display the migration script.

  Has anyone else had this problem with a SINGLE sign or a custom GINA solution?

  We have removed Imprivata and the process worked ok. We are now reinstall using the post migration script that works

  I wonder if there is an update also the Manager of the view for the latest version of the client will be available for those who connect to the display server?  Or is there a way I can deploy this client within the display server?

  We have many student users who now have connection problems, and the new version of the client solves this problem.  I'm just trying to discover the best deployment mechanism.

  There is a downloads.war on connection brokers folder that contains all of the installation of the system.  It's also simple to replace these files with new clients named in the same way.  Here's a write up to someone in another thread.

  Recently, I replaced the motherboard on my G2-149WM HP with the recommended OEM. (model number of same parts) The problem I have is, after that Windows 8 logo appears when you first start up, it goes to the black COMMAND screen and it says something about the system is not reconizing cards mothers NAME of THE PRODUCT, INFORMATION SYSTEM. or nothing! On the bottom is says ENTER: PRESS to START NORMAL or something similar! He has never done before, so that I have to reset/upgrade to update the BIOS or what?   The problem was, as I installed it and not a certified HP Tech, the new motherboard was not entered in my system for a lack of a better term! Look at my personal tech for all the info he needed and had it fixed in less than half an hour! Before that, I did follow your advice and update my BIOS nothing helps... but at least it is updated! Thank you very much for your help!
