  Used the computer very well this morning, using the trackpad to move the mouse and the material on it button, make a left click or right-click as usual. When I used the computer later the hardware buttons no longer work. I can click by pressing the lower part of the trackpad itself, but may not use the hardware buttons (and therefore no right-click or the functionality of the middle button).

  This sounds like a hardware failure or a combination of the key / button may have turned off them? I then fiddled about in the UltraNav the mouse settings tab in Control Panel without result. Indeed, the option to activate the TrackPoint (the red button between keys B, G & H) has been disabled... I can't select to activate it). Maybe some drivers have corrupted?

  Any suggestions?

  Update. I just reinstalled the NavPad drivers and the buttons/TrackPoint are still working. Normal service is resumed. God only knows how the pilots got curreupted, but happy, it is not a hardware failure.

  1. download each of the tools for deletion below, save it to your desktop:

  4. right click on one of the files that you saved in #1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

  5. Repeat step #4 for another removal tool.

  Tips:

  -Online use another computer to download the removal tool, if necessary, then transfer it to the computer via CD, DVD, or a USB brand new, never been used (flash drive), or a summer freshly updated in shape.

  -Online start the problem in Mode safe computer, if necessary, proceed as above.

  -Online after completing all of the above, uninstall AVG Free & reboot. Now do a new installation of AVG Free 9.0, this time select the CUSTOM installation option and do NOT install (uncheck) Linkscanner Search-Shield, Active Surf-Shield, security or the email of crawl components toolbar.

  I checked the reported compatibility list, and the game is listed as compatible.  Work in 64-bit or 32-bit Windows 7?  I will try to reinstall the game, if you did an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 recently.  If it is a new installation and does not, please visit the EA's Web site to get the latest patch for the game to see if that helps address your problem.  Let me know if you've done all that and you still have questions, and we can try something else.

  I am running Iolo System Mechanic 11 on my machine for detection of spyware, malware, viruses and been with them for 5 years and this has NEVER happened since I was with them. My Toshiba Service Station does not work and tried to contact Toshiba as well, but yet they want the money for technical advice.
