  It would certainly look like you need to replace the screen.  The best advice I could do would be to take it to a local computer repair shop and get an estimate of the cost of replacement.

  Yes, you should be able to reinstall, but if you can you should disable before resetting the machine.  Otherwise, if the two license activations were used and no reset you will need to contact Adobe Support by chat and ask them to reset your activations.

  My Palm Centro was freezing randomly and in particular whenever someone called me. As this was very annoying, I performed a Hard Reset of the device. Before I did I did a Hotsync to back up everything (or so I thought).

  Now when I do another hotsync after Hard Reset nothing is restored, the only things on the device that were there before are the photos that were on the memory card. All my Contacts, phone numbers, notes, calendar entries and everything disappeared. How can I restore them?

  I'm having a problem connecting my iPod Nano (5^th generation 8 GB) to my Macbook Pro (mid-2009 with El Capitan OS). I tried to restore my iPod nano with iTunes. Restore failed, and my iPod Nano screen has changed to a white screen with a message "do not disconnect". I couldn't eject the device, so I had to unplug the iPod with this message that appears. When I disconnected the iPod a black check mark appears on the white screen with a message "Ok to disconnect". The only way to get this message go away is to lock the screen of the iPod nano, and then unlock it. Then I press and hold the Center button and menu button simultaneously for 8 seconds and the Apple logo appears. Then shortly after, a "Use iTunes to restore" message on the iPod nano. I reconnect the iPod on my Mac and the white screen with a message 'do not disconnect' returns to the top. iTunes does not recognize the iPod. I don't know what else I can do to get my Mac to recognize the device and add songs using iTunes. IPod Nano was working fine a few hours ago, and my Macbook recognized until I tried to restore it in iTunes. It's very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  What was the (initial) reason, you had to do this restoration (before this problem occurred)?

  Try to put the iPod in Disk Mode.

  Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

  Launch iTunes and connect the iPod to the Mac.  If iTunes picks it up, he may ask you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  Tell iTunes to do a restore.  After the full restoration , see if the iPod works normally.

  Hi, I listened to a song on my rocket and sudenly the screen began to move through, and then he got the color bars on it, computing disappeared until it was just a white screen, but curiously enough, the music continued to play? You can Reset the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. Helping others it restores the default settings.

  I have a 2008 Macbook Pro which is having some problems, I was able to fix them, but eventually the hard drive failed. I know that because at startup until it would have a white screen Uni (no logo) and you can hear a clicking on in the lower left corner. I thought initially it was a memory problem, but after opening and verification of memory, it's clearly the hard drive.

  I solved this problem temporarily (until I can replace the HARD disk) by installing El captain on an external HARD disc and start from that. Everything that's happened would be that clicks would cease to release the keys.

  I left the macbook on while I'm at work, when I got home it was on the screen to connect the external HARD drive.

  I accidentally closed the macbook yesterday and again once when I tried to log on, I could not and I left it on a white screen while I was sleeping.   Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

  • Hardware failure
  • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
  • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt
  • A firmware update is necessary

  No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

  Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

  If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

  Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.
