Replacement program low MacBook case

Hi all...

I have MacBook 6,1, I bought in 2010. There are a few years rubber has separated the lower lid, and it drives me crazy. I couldn't find the warranty up to today. Anyone know if I am eligible for the low MacBook replacement program case because he had spent a lot of time.

This program covers the MacBooks affected for four years from the date of purchase. Apple will continue to evaluate the service data and will also provide extensions to this program if necessary.

    Hello

My iphone 6 more qualifies iSight Camera replacement program. However, when I try to give the phone to the dealer - Saprk in this case - that sold me the phone, they said there is a crack on the screen of the phone, so I have to fix the crack before him presenting the program. Otherwise Apple will not accept it, is that true?

If it is true, just to find a third party phone shop to fix it? Or I need to find 'Authorized Apple store' to fix it? I'm worried on that spark/Apple could say the screen of the phone is repaired by unauthorized workshop, so they accept it for iSight Camera replacement program.

    Thank you

It's usually Apple's policy that the phone must first be condition and essentially intact before they do everything "reminds" warranty work because there may be other problems with the phone that could be exacerbated by this secondary problem when an attempt is made to solve the original problem.

If it is true, just to find a third party phone shop to fix it?

Bad idea. If you do this, then you have essentially canceled warranty and Apple has no obligation to honor the warranty and thus to fix the camera.

Or I need to find 'Authorized Apple store' to fix it?

Fix. But Qatar, the phone company IS the authorized service provider. I could be wrong, but check in the support section of the Qatar of the Apple site to confirm.

  • iMac mid 2011 - GPU problem - no guarantee - not under replacement program

Hello, I have an iMac 27 inch mid 2011 (bought on 28.05.2011 including Apple Care). The screen went blue and the iMac last weekend had problems at the start (screen stuck on gray - boot loop). I figured well known GPU problem , so I took it to my dealer.

Diagnosis: GPU problem, but given that the replacement program ends Apple decided that I have to pay for repair costs: around 600 euros.

Apple has decided that they will replace the video card for free for four years after the first retail computer sales. I am deeply disappointed by Apple since I am an Apple user since 1992 and it feels like they have let me down. Apple knows clearly that there is a problem with the video card. It seems that I have no chance that my iMac was not showing no signs of video card problem earlier. I can't use my iMac a lot because of work, so if I had turned on the iMac, a little more or let run together weeks I would have had more "luck"?

Thanks, I called Apple and asked if they would reconsider their position, but the assistance service said they couldn't do anything for me. I kindly asked the Assistant if he could talk with his manager, but it did not help.

Is there something else I could do? I am disappointed by Apple because I think they don't care for users for a long time and they force you to buy a new iMac. For iPhone 5, there is a program of replacing the battery. I took mine to my dealer, but my iPhone does not apply to Apple, the battery is quite good. So, if I had taken my iMac to the dealer with no sign of problem that apple would say, it does not apply to the video card replacement program.

Is it possible to convince Apple to take care of my video card problem? For the moment, I agreed to pay for the fix, I need my iMac, but I will continue to find the solution of Apple (refund or half the cost).

Y at - it advice in this regard, how can I convince Apple changing its position?

You do not discuss Apple on these forums, we are all users like you. Apple does not read or participate in these forums. If you have a problem with your iMac, bring it to a Apple Store or call AppleCare or Service customer and plead your case.

    Good luck.

  • free iPhone battery replacement program 5

    Hi all

My iPhone 5 having battery problems. Submit the serial number of my phone on Apple's site said that my phone is eligible for the free battery replacement program. On the Apple website, it is stated that "this program covers affected iPhone 5 batteries 3 years after first sailing of the retail unit.  Bought mine April 2013, so I thought it might be covered. However, it is also stated that "these devices were sold between September 2012 and 2013 January". My question is if my phone is still eligible for the replacement of the battery for free?

According to what you just cited, it is not covered.

  • Find the replacement battery - "low battery alarm.

I'll have to re - use a PC that has a 'bad' C-drive for now was "butterfly of the night-balled" years, but at least it market, becuse of the XP Virus on my machine good 2012.  Man, is that what noise disc c, etc. etc.

Anyway, I was wondering, since I get a "low battery alarm" & the date resets to 4 January 1980 on every power-up, WHERE can I find a replacement battery (spare parts) for this old HP PC?

    the model is:
    HP-Compaq d530 5FF
    HP s/n 2UA41507CA
    p/n DG058A #ABA

Thank you & God Bless, jim

I don't know why you came on a Windows forum instead of going directly on the HP site, but what I've found, is that HP lists 3 different models with the d530 designation:

HP Compaq d530 Convertible Minitowers desktop PC

Small form factor HP Compaq d530 PC desktop

Desktop HP Compaq d530 slimline Desktop PC

Look at the pictures and decide what is yours.

You can download the "hardware reference Guide' for each page linked to above.

Guides for the first two describe the battery replaced and describe it as a "3-volt lithium button cell battery."  The guide for the 3rd model does not mention the battery, but I would be very surprised if it isn't exactly the same as the other two.

In all cases, the exact model of the battery is not shown.  This is very probably a CR2032, located practically in any pharmacy chain in the United States, including the CVS and Walgreens, as well as places like Radio Shack and, of course, online.

Download the manual of your computer, open it and find the battery.  The model number will be carved in relief in the surface of the battery.  If it does not say: CR2032 just search the net.  This is one of the many maps equivalent of battery: http://www.maxell.co.jp/e/products/materials/replacement_e.pdf

Note the number on your battery, and its equivalents in the table and visit your local pharmacy or the favorite online shopping site.

  • Replace the MLB MacBook Pro. End 2012 model

Sitting quietly: my MacBook Pro died in front of me. Ouch.

Has paid a visit to my local Apple store. It seems that it was a defective MLB. Dear - a £500 repair bill!

.... I decided against him... a new was perhaps in order. But I can't afford it.

Came home, did my research and found this:

Failures of widespread graphics 2011 MacBook Pro finally addressed by Apple repair program

Went immediately on the phone to Apple Care and they agreed to mine qould qualify.

So back to my local Apple store. Five days later, fixed. Free of charge!

    I am happy.

I'm so happy to hear that you guessed it sorted. Apple are not always easy to find information:

Without my Red Oval link looks like he's hiding! Old retirees here have long recommended that anyone who has seen the validation of the repair Extension program has to print and take with them to the Apple Store or FSAA, because no all employees/agents appear to be fully informed about these programs.

  • World for the voluntary battery replacement program

Hello. I am concerned about the voluntary battery replacement.

My laptop is: Tecra S3, manufactured at 2006-02-21 (ordered in 2006-03-14). Model number is: PTS30E-01R01CG3. I tried the software for testing, but he said that I'm not concerned. Eight days latter, I saw this new article (http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/news_article.jsp?service=EU&ID=Battery_Pack_Replac ement_09_2006 & cnt = NEWS & key = Battery_Pack_Replacemen t_09_2006 & display = T) and I definitely want to participate.

Before a few weeks, I noticed that my battery wear level is 17%, which is not normal (never checked to see what is the initial value was), because from the beginning, I used to follow the instructions for the use of battery of security!
I am from Bulgaria and I would like to know if I can replace my battery.

    Thank you.

[Edited by: admin on October 4, 2006 09:10]

    Hello

To my knowledge, the warranty will cover battery for one year.
In my opinion it should be no problem with the battery replacement if the warranty is valid.
In this case, contact the Toshiba service partner in your country and ask for help.

By the way: as Sam mentioned in the post above only are not all but only some notebooks between March and may was affected and there could be only one problem with the loading and unloading of procedure.

  • Replacing the battery MacBook Pro Mid 2010

    Hi all;

I bought a MacBook 2010 mid Pro 13 "(2nd hand). The camera is great and has been well supported. Only problem is the battery - it runs out and cool in an hour or two. However, he begins by saying there about 04:30 hrs.

Now! I would replace said battery. That I'm comfortable to do it myself. My only question is what battery? I wouldn't trust anything on eBay. Amazon have a good range but what brand? Recommendations or pointers, even to other renowned providers, will be greatly appreciated.

    Concerning

Search for parts and procedures IFixIt.com. They are quite reputable and offer warranty on everything they sell.

  • Get the names of all cases by programming in a case structure

    Hi all

I have a Subvi, which is a diagram of States (some control test equipment), with many States (i.e. each "State" is a case of a business structure), a text string chooses the case. All cases are appointed.

In this sub - is VI possible for me to get programmatically the name of text for each case of this business structure? I want to be able to recover these channels so that the main VI will be able to call the valid States.

I have the error handling to ensure that if a State not valid is called (using the default case) that an error will be returned to my main vi, but I prefer to be able to retrieve the string to avoid any typo etc.

Don't know if I've explained this well.

    Thank you

It is not too complex, but it won't work in an executable file.  This program gets a reference to the structure of the case (by searching for the text of the label) and returns a list of names of frame.

Perhaps my plugin CaseSelect will help you with your Machine States based on a string.  You can put any valid States in string constants by double-clicking a list of cases.

  • How to stop the program with 2 cases of event

I know that this is a very easy solution, but I can't seem to find it.

I have two cases of the event in a while loop. I worked previously with the case of an event, so I placed the button stop in the case of the event. However if I have 2 cases of the event can't place the button stop in one of them so, how can I stop the program then?

If the stop button is outside of the case that the program will not stop.

Here's my vi of adding two different values for output according to which key

Add a change event value case more for wire to terminal under condition of loop and stop button.

  • Replaces program files AFTER a complete recovery and backup.

I'm a complete insofar as amateur application and computer knowledge are concerned. A few days earlier, fed up with the slow pace of my all-in-one HP with Windows 7, I chose to do a complete factory of this machine reset. I bought a 1 TB external memory unit and proceeded to back up all my photos, music and video files. I have also backed up "Program Files" and "Program Files (X 86)", and other files and applications that I thought were important. I then put the computer into recovery factory mode, using the Option "recovery" provided in my computer, and everything seems to go as planned. When I turned on the computer again, it has known many fluctuations and indications, but apparently crossed his recovery operation, as expected.  Sorry for the long story, I think that any assistance provided by the community would like to know what happened to speak to 'HELP'.

My HP all-in-one computer was apparently made in 2010, and any programs or accessories of the trial were available at that time there were apparently installed during the recovery has been completed. I had accessories and elements of the trial I have does not know or want and put them on the side for now. I've updated (or downloaded again) some elements, but I'm still left with many elements of my 1 TB storage unit. In particular, programs in the Program Files and Program Files (X 86) folders. Can I move or copy the contents of these files in the 'clean' computer program files or should I leave it alone? Photos, music and videos are moved to their respective folders, and that is easy for both.

I know I'll have more questions that I can present to you at this time, but any guidance or help is greatly appreciated.

I would recommend not to return these program files from the storage to the cleaned computer unit.  For the most part, just worry a true "user files" as you mentioned (photos, Documents, etc.).

The reason is that the necessary program files have been already regenerated themselves on the computer cleaned up, and in general these are not transferable in any case.
