Including those different similar can (replace) put it inside my laptop?

We are talking on cell phones and the No.
It is well known that the replacement of portable equipment or upgrade is very limited so your question is wrong.

In case this GPU is defective whole mainboard needs to be replaced.

  • Pavilion Slimline S5510y: HP Pavilion Slimline s5510y and replace a video card

I have an original s5510y Slimline with Windows 7 Home Premium and upgrade to Windows 10.  I need to replace the video card (GeForce 6140se nForce 430) who seems to be integrated into the motherboard.  I'm trying to replace it with a nVidia GeForce GT610.  As instructed, I need to change the BIOS to use the PCI Slot.  How can I change the BIOS?  I guess I need to do before installing new video card.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

  • Replace the video card and audio lost

    I have a HP m7350n desktop under WinXP SP2

    The plug: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00585745

I replaced the video card (original) with a Gigabyte GT 440

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814125366

The new vid card also demanded a new power supply, so I replaced the original power supply with a Cooler Master GX 450

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16817171060

When I restarted the computer, I noticed that I had more sound. Not sure if it was important, but even after that I downloaded the latest drivers for the new video card, there is still no sound.

In the status bar system (or what is called the lower right view), I have more small icons for audio that I used to see.

If I run dxdiag and click on the "Sound" tab, everything is white with the error 'no sound card found.  If one must, you must install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer. »

The audio jacks are NOT part of either the old or new video card, so I think that the new video card should not cause this.

Could I have missed feed somewhere during the exchange of food? If I remember, I have provided to:

    -2 CD/DVD drives

    -The expansion slot empty

    -The hard drive

-A long connection on the motherboard (it was like 12 x 2 pins)

    -A small connection square to motherboard (2 x 2-pin)

Any suggestions on what I can is dead wrong, or what I need to check? I am a novice at this stuff, so it could very well be something stupid.

Also, I suppose, it does not matter, but I also added memory 2x1GB sticks in the empty slots (who does not see the PC, but that's a separate post)

    Thanks for the pointers

    Hello:

I see an HDMI port on the map output...

Why what happened?  The answer is that your video card has HDMI that requires a separate HDMI audio chip on the video card. So yes, your videocard DID cause it happens because the PC has picked up map video, disabled the car video (if you have an onboard video) and also disabled the audio system integrated, take on it for audio HDMI on the video card.

The solution is simple, but almost no one knows about it, so I wouldn't say it's something stupid...

Go into your BIOS. Looking for an embedded audio setting. It will be either disabled or Auto. Change the setting on " Enabled".  Save the setting here where you made the change, and again when you exit the BIOS.

When the PC restarts your integrated sound card needs to be restored, and you will also have the use of your audio HDMI when you plug an HDMI cable to your TV.

  • Impossible to replace the video card - Pavilion Elite Pro 410 t

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion Elite Pro 410t with an ATI Radeon to 2 GB video card (I think a 5770 or 5570). I'll call this map.

About 2 weeks ago it started making a noise annoying (sounded like a fan problem).

I have a spare, older, working NVidia card fanless (calling card B) and I swapped it in using the method indicated in the guide of the user/service.

When I turn on the Pavilion, it gives 3 beeps and there is no display, so I think that it does not recognize the video card.

I put the card back in and it works fine, except that the fan sounds bad and I'm not confident, it will last much longer.

I put the B card in another PC (home built) and it works fine.

I tried card B in the Pavilion, making sure it was well set and I get always three beeps.

I even went in the Pavilion BIOS settings to see if there was an option. There is no setting to choose the video card, but there only PCI-E option. Since I'm still just on the PCI-E slot, I left it alone.

So I have a work card (B), but it won't work in the Pavilion for a reason any. Has anyone seen this?

If it's a compatibility issue, is there a specific list of cards that works with my system? Do I have to buy the replacement of HP only? HP offers even replacements of video card for sale?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Yes, okay.
If you compare the PSU of the HP and the other PC (home built) - are there differences?
Maybe you need more powerful or more efficient power supply?

If you try the other power supply in your HP...?

    Hello

Consult this publication of the article.

There are two updates of BIOS for your PC.  You apply them?  You will need to disable secure boot and enable the legacy mode to do so.  See the links below.

The following items of the HP should help you get a graphics card to work on your PC.

HP Secure Boot Windows 8 themes Computer does not start after the installation of a video (Windows 8) card

Your PC comes with a 460 watt PSU, so be sure that your graphics card meets the requirements specified by the manufacturer of the graphics card.

  • Can I replace the video card Intel (r) 915GM/GMS in Satellite M70?

    Hello!

I have a TOSHIBA Satellite M70, with video card Intel (r) 915GM/GMS (256 MB) that is not working properly (it might be made of the mechanical shock or high temperature, do not know, but I'm sure it's something on the hardware). I reinstalled my OS (and then replaced by another), updated my drivers but nothing changes. Then appears a BSOD evoking the video driver files I try to restart it many times because the screen guard shutted down (in black). Now, the video card is disabled, and it works normally. I want to just replace it if it is possiblle. I said * TOSHIBA Satellite M70, Intel (r) 915GM / GMS *.

Thanks for your answers in advance, and sorry for the mistakes (I'm not English)!

  • Replacement of the GPU on Satellite A210

Is it possible to replace the GPU in Satellite A210?

As a little faster plugged PCIexpress for example?

    Hello

    What do you do exactly?
You want to remove the VGA card only or you want to upgrade the GPU with another?

I think the GPU are removable (means not fixed/welded) but it of not possible to update the graphics card of laptop s. The BIOS would not support another graphics card.

  • Replacing a graphics card on Satellite P10

I have a Satellite P10 554 for more than 2.5 years (warranty expired). But now the display start to Flash (sometimes some horizontal strips as refreshing disorders, sometimes turns completely black,...).

Meanwhile, the laptop is frozen until the view retrieves. After flashing several times, the screen can not recover more and sometimes restart the laptop (with sometimes after a blue screen of death). If I'm lucky so far, WXP tells me that an error related with the NVIDIA driver and switch to 800 x 600 resolution asking me to restart.
This usually happens sometime after Windows XP starts, usually at the age of 5 minutes. I did not notice any software related issue and he persisted after full format and reinstall Windows XP.

In addition, the most annoying part is that when I reboot after that, the screen is still bad for the Welcome startup screen (some horizontal strips down because it was a problem refreshing). To solve the problem, I let the laptop for at least 15 minutes. When I restart 'cold', the problem is repeated after some time.

My guess is that the graphics card is broken. My laptop is installed with a 64 MB NVIDIA FX Go5600. I updated all the drivers. The same problem also appears even if I use an external monitor or TV.

My question is if I can replace the graphics card. In the specifications of the laptop indicating that the graphics card uses a port AGP 8 x. Pourrais then replace the problematic graphics card?

    Thank you

UH... maybe the question was too complicated?

Is there a way that I replace a damaged nVidia FX Go5600 64 MB in a Toshiba P10-554?

I guess that it is integrated into the motherboard, but it does not check for myself.

    Thank you, people
