• Display more than 7 characters in a 2D in report table

  I'm trying to display the string properties in a table report 2D, but all I get is the first 7 characters in the string, even if there is plenty of room in the 'cell' for more characters.  Y at - it a setting to increase the number of character exposed in a table?

  Well, I was able to fix by changing "AutoAdj" to "L: 15»  That gives me enough room to put up to 15 characters and only gives me errors if I go out below 15.  Thanks for the help!

  I have 1 Summary report, built from 1 and 5 dimension tables. I have 1 report detail built from 1 and 5 dimension tables. Here, 2 fact tables are different, but the dimensions are confirmed. I want to navigate between summary and detailed report of the common column circuit. Is there a way I can pass the values?

• How to share update of EUL4 reports tables of discoverer 4i?

  We are upgrading to 10g 3i. 3i to 4i is underway.
  Someone has already tried to change the properties of the sharing of a disco 4i report updating one of these tables eul.
  Right now, users have reports stored on their local system. We asked them to save in the database.
  
  I'm tryign to update all properties of report from the back-end to share them with the CCA to test so that they can be tested after each update.
  The other manual method is to physically save the report using the CCA to test I want to avoid but will continue if I have to.

  As you can see, the only difference is the number of end-user license, where he spent 4-5.

  Sharing is kept entirely in the EULx_ACCESS_PRIVS table. In theory, insert rows in this table with the right settings and links allow a workbook to be shared. In reality, the issue is more complex because there are a number of sequence generator behind the scenes to handle ID values for each element within the EUL.

  So, even though I think that it is possible to automate I share personally do not recommend. All you would be doing is reproducing a question to become an even bigger problem. My recommendation would be to take a step back and determine what it is that your company wants to do. I think you should have a library of reports shared with the user roles or responsibilities, depending on whether you use a standard or a mode of Apps EUL. The library would hold all workbooks and would be the only place where sharing must be done.

  You see if you allowed users to save workbooks for the file system, you'll more than likely that users who have reinvented the wheel over and over again. Several workbooks will be duplicates of others, many will be nearly identical, but most will be redundant. To simply copy all these in the database may not be the best for you because it can be a nightmare to maintain.

  I think that the only option exports the BAM artifacts using ICommand tool: Oracle BAM ICommand operations and File Formats

  And then save these files to SVN or Git.

  If you have removed the button apply, then the action of the selection of a new parameter value automatically rerun the report. However, if you want to have the report that is run with the first value or the default value selected, you can define a default value and set the Auto Run then then the report will be automatically updated.

  I can do this by using textlists for each col, but the handling is very bad if a channelname Exchange.

  An alternative workaround blend groups temporarily to one group, but I hope there is a way to use the Data.GetChannels("Group*/Speed") command.

  Hi Martin,

  In general I would discourage you to use channels with only 1 value.  In almost all cases, it is best to store this information as a property of the channel or group.

  You can still get something like what you ask to leave your 1 value existing channels if you create columns of table which is of type "Expression", set up the table to be in a display of 'Horizontal' alignment, the value of the number of scale of lines the right number of groups and use expressions like these :

  Very simply, I have some test data in a table and added to my report with the addition of the report table vi.

  I have the same thing again to send data to a different table which I would like to insert in my report in table form. I placed a second addition table report vi directly after the previous vi, but it doesn't work.

  Change the width of two column Table add to Report.vi from 10 to 1. Setting the value to 10 (unit are inches) will throw an error.

  So I googled around and found that in the attibutres tables report, I need to change the "LINK" COLUMN so first, I changed "Link to custom target", but the report is so I changed it to "Exclude link Clolumn" again, the report didn't report and I STILL got a blank page with only the tabs.

  I wonder you can not create a report by selecting from multiple tables?

  You can, but in this case, it might be easier to build your report tables that are joined Oracle views and then build your report out of the newly built sight...

  Or wrap a selection around your selection with joins, and then make the where clause on the external selection...

• Import a txt in report file

  I have a signal Arinc I decoded in each of its inputs/outputs digital.  Since I was more than 150 e / s, I needed a way to sort and make a quick report on them.

  I have three categories.

  1. remained = 1 throughout the test

  2 sleep = 0 throughout the test

  3. changed from 0--> 1 or 1--> 0 during the test.

  I just want a list of the signals for each of these categories in my report.

  I created a file txt for them to go, but how to import that in my report?

  You cannot easily reference the contents of an ASCII file.  Instead, I suggest you make a new group of 3 text strings that you can drag onto a REPORT table.

  The best way I know is to do a just request for user interface for readers of C and then create a table that.  If you go to-> queries (my definition) definitions-> create a new like this:

• Setting the width of a usual report to 80%

  I have a classic report with a region without borders. However, the columns are very rare. I need to stretch all the way to about 80% of the width of the page. There is also an html area at his side. The second condition is that the height of the region should be of approximately 300px. So if there is a line, then we see a line with the region of report showing the gray background for 5 lines and if there is more than 5, then the scroll bar appears.

  We tried to put a DIV tag also around the region

  But on different resolutions, the background stretches and gray appears. Height works very well. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

The width of 100% should be applied to the layout region table, the cell that contains the report of the region, the report [paging] table containing and finally table of the report itself. Give the region report a static ID for use in some of the selectors and find how to select some containers layout in the generated HTML code. The CSS rule that results is located in the Inline CSS property page:

  The model of the region already contains a wrapper DIV with the class bl-body around the content of the region. Using this and the region that static ID in the selector, the region may be limited to a height of 200 pixels with a scroll bar if necessary without needing an extra wrapper element to manually add:
