• Satellite A100-225 keeps freezing and crashing with the new HARD drive

  Hi all

  I have a Satellite A100-225 with a 100 GB SATA Hitachi drive I int it that recently started showing bad sectors. Then I bought a Hitachi 320 GB SATA II drive to replace it. I tried the drive and it was recognized right away, so I didn't need to change the SATA speed. I ran the restore a disk installed newest. The problem I have is that the computer keeps freezing and crashing with the new drive. It takes a lot of time to load up when turned on and there is a noticeable to untermittant delay when you drag the cards around solo.

  I tried to run the Hitachi drive test and it comes back fine. I also tried to turn the SATA speed of the drive down from 300 to 150 via the firmware, and although I saw a slight improvement, it is still not right.

  I talked to Hitachi and they say that he could not be 100% compatible, so the problems. Someone at - it else sucessfully set up a replacement for this notebook drive and if so what make and model. Has anyone else had simular problems?

  Years ago, I've updated yet more former Satellite M70 with SATA HDD (270 GB if I m remembering well) and everything was fine.
  In my view upgrade with SATA HDD normal shouldn't be a problem. Do not SATA II because it will not work faster.

  I can't say for sure, but there must be a compatibility problem.

  Let's see if someone else had better luck with the upgrade of the disk on the Satellite A100.

  Have you checked this forum with advanced search option? Maybe you can find some old NET on upgrade the HDD on A100.

  I am facing a problem with the events. Please Ref. Event.zip the attachment.

  AEv.vi is a LV2G used for the reading/Generate/Init/destroy the event. Test2.VI is a main vi (we must run this vi)

  The AEv.vi Init action must be done in the other vi (other than the Test2.vi:- but for the objective test I've initialized in Test2.vi only).

  Test2.VI is used for genetate event.

  I could have called statically AEv.vi inside the Test2.vi to generate an event... but the path that comes is decided when running... (I have many live similar to AEv.vi...) .. who decided at run time...)

  The problem:

  When I run Test2.vi, it gives me the error code 1 (try running test2.VI... it gives the dialogue on the occurrence of the error)...

• Failed to upgrade 10 Windows v3-772 - initialize not just crashes with the acer logo screen

  Hi guys

  I just had my computer repair and the SSD has been changed. I was running 10 before windows and everything was perfect until an update in ruins everything. Long history does not in this

  In any case I unstall all my software and do an update to windows 10. All the preparations and thus seems to be okay. Then it restarts and is stuck. Never of shots. I see the low activity of the HARD drive, but I let it run for 8 hours and still nothing, always gangs in the acer start window. It's once the bios loaded, because I can access that I'm fast and press f2.

  After a while, I gave up and thought maybe it was just a fluke, so I used my recovery dvd and reinstalled my system and the Agency and the outlook and... After the installation of about 5 hours, my system was ready to go. So I decided lets try again. And once again same failure. Just crashes with the Logo of Acer.

  I called Microsoft and they told to do me a startup repair. However it is not possible, I can get it in the repair mode, but none of the functions to work. Then they said that it was a material thing, but everywhere I look States the v3-772 should have no problem with the windows 10.

  I'm normally pretty good to fix my own problems, but in order to fix a problem I need a mistake or error code or something to go for. Does anyone have an idea what to do?

  I'm not completely sure what is the problem, but I'll tell you this.  When I look at Windows 10 drivers of Acer and BIOS for your computer model and see that there are some drivers Windows 8 and an old BIOS, it's really bad... especially if you try to get Windows 10 anniversary of working on your computer.

  Edit: I don't know if you should be using the drivers on the Acer website to download or just use the updated drivers that Windows automatically gives you.  Or a combination of both.  Try to start with the drivers Microsoft gives you automatically.  It could take hours for you to understand... Unfortunately.

  Edit2: On the Acer Web site, they gave you windows driver chipset 8.1 and Intel Management Engine Interface driver. And I suspect that the reason that they did is because they don't have to update your BIOS.

  We had two adapters entity IOM 10 g that fires when the user group memberships are changed. He was attached to the User Groups.User Members post insert and delete data object after.
  To have the same functionality in OIM 11 g, we try to create the event handler.

  1. how the event handler will fire in 11 g on change of group.
  2. we have event handlers that are registered using Ant plugin to check utility. Now, if I want to join this newly created event handler, do I need to implement the new code already a create a new pot and re-save the plugin or can we have several plugin.zip file.

  steps below:

  prepare the pot for the class as in 10g-> put the server (anywhere) IOM-> goto /Server/bin/now run below
  UploadJars.sh

  Select as a scheduled task
  provide the absolute path with name of the jar.
  If credentials requested provide IOM credential (xelsysadm)

  Once the pot is downloaded to remove the file system. subsequently if necessary change to use UpdateJars.sh instead of UploadJars.sh
  Once you do this PurgeCache.sh performance as well

  I have an old iMac (mid 2007), Mac, but I have never had any problems with it until this last update of OS lock (Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, although I have returned to an earlier version recently to prevent locking without result).  I have 4 GB memory 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU graphics ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB.  Usually, I use Safari when this happens. It requires a restart of the hard to get it working again. I also have the Machine backup time, which I returned to an earlier version of the operating system at some point.  In general, the cursor still moves, but does not work no matter what windows or controls, that is why it requires the hard reboot.  The Mac reputation is on the line, since I told my friends of Windows that Mac will last at least a decade before they may need to be replaced, while Windows based computers need replacing every 5 years.  Is that what I can do perfectly well apart from the replacement of this computer?

  1. the present proceedings is a diagnostic test. It doesn't change anything for the better or worse and therefore, by itself, will not solve the problem. But with the help of the results of the tests, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

  The test works on OS X 10.8 ("Mountain Lion") and later versions. I do not recommend running it on older versions of Mac OS X. It will do no harm, but it will not do not much good.

  Do not be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You make the tasks more complicated with the computer all the time.

  2. If you do not already have a current backup, please back up all the data before doing anything else. The backup is needed on the general principle, not because of what anyone in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you encounter any kind of problems with the computer, you can be more than the usual loss of data, if you follow these instructions or risk not.

  There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

  3 here is instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it doesn't change anything. It does not send or receive data over the network. There is no to generate a report on the State of the computer human readable. This report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents for me or someone else.

  You should ask yourself if you can believe me, and if it is safe to run a program at the request of a foreign national. In general, no, he's not sure, and I encourage it.

  You may have started up in safe mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works pretty well in normal mode to test run, restart as usual before running it. If you can test only in safe mode, this.

  6. If you have more than one user and a user is affected by the problem, and the user is not an administrator, and then run the test twice: once under the affected user and one administrator.   If the test takes much longer that usual to run because the computer is very slow, you can be prompted for your password a second time. The permission you grant by entering it will expire automatically after five minutes.

  If you are not logged as an administrator, you will be prompted for a password. The test will run. It just will not do anything that requires administrator privileges.

  10. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

      The test results are on the Clipboard.

      Please close this window.

  The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

  Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appear - again, usually within a few minutes. If you don't see this message in about 30 minutes, the test probably won't be completed within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something.

  In order to get results, the test should be allowed to perform or be stopped manually as shown above. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved.

  11. when the test is completed, or if you manually stopped, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window. Please do not copy from there. All you have to do is start a response to this comment and then paste it again by pressing Command-V.

  At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words «Start time.» If you do not see that, but rather to see a mass of gibberish, you wait for the message "close this window". Please wait and try again.

• DASYlab crashing with the beginning of the worksheet after change of RS - 232

  After a change in my RS-232 output of the modules to the correct COM port (I use two) dasylab crashes instantly. I use a serial port to control a stepper motor and the other to interrogate a dynamometer. I can not for life, to understand why its plant, or that there is no reason for it crashing. I use the ttl generators to trigger actions who then spend my terminal commands (stored in global chains) series of my series devices. My ttl generators are runner reasonable enough cycles, so I don't think it's a memory dump. Help!

• Need help with the events of user base in state machine example in queue

  I wrote a small example queue state machine to try to teach myself about the creation and use of the user events.  The purpose of the machine is periodically pick a number (I do now with a control instead of a generator of random numbers for troubleshooting), and compare this figure with the number I put in a control.  When they match, I want to raise an event to fire so I can do something about having found a match.  The examples in the file LV references help show events within the structure of the event, but I want to reach out of a State and trigger an event...

  Can someone point me in the right direction here?
