• Can anyone recommend MVC information regarding ColdFusion?

  I want to wrap your head around MVC, and I know that the subject is, in itself, technical.  I'm not the best ColdFusion programmer out there, but I'm pretty seasoned.

  As such, I would really understand MVC, but I still need to find a resource that has been able to do.  I just watched an hour of video and the presenter essentially through a myriad of terminology to me, and no understanding has been really done.  Has anyone out there found a resource that provides an overview of MVC from a point of view of CF perhaps?

  I really want to use the principles, but I can't seem to find a source of training that can talk to me.

  You can take a look at the docs for some of the ColdFusion MVC frameworks 'lite'.  1 frame (FW/1) and The Lite are probably easier to use MVC infrastructure and their docs Introduction explain the MVC concept.  You can also take a peek at this Ben Nadel's blog that provides a good understanding of what makes each piece of MVC.  Kevin Stannard wrote a blog post on the writing of its own MVC framework, which also helps to understand how things fit together.

• HP laptop: HP telephone scam? Regarding the laptop computer viruses

  I just got a phone call from someone claiming to be with the HP support. On my phone caller ID showed as unknown caller. The man said that HP has determined that I got a virus in my laptop via social media.
  
  Anyone got some these calls? I'm pretty sure it's a scam, but do not want to double check. I asked the man on the phone to give me a call back number in case we were cut off. The number he gave me was 888-883 - 6944.

  My hacked Hotmail account and I noticed a weird email address when you try to reset the password.  I think in the past, this added and I would have removed or I will just delete my account that I won't trust him.  Sorry, this isn't the right forum, but I can't get hotmail to work.

  Anyway - log on hotmail.com with your account information, click on your name in the upper right and select 'Account' in the menu dropdown.  You need to without doubt re - enter your security password.  Under section of the new web page titled load, "password reset information", change you will need to (as to remove an email that you do not recognize or by adding one you do).  Ditto for the telephone, PC, confidence and question.

  In the account overview > password reset information > Email is an email account that is not mine and I can't remove it. If I click on remove and return the e-mail address appears as LOST, marked in red, but has not disappeared.

  I'm getting rid of my HP L7580 all in one and although I deleted my fax log, nbr name and fax number of the installation of the printer itself, when I print the Fax log just to be sure that nothing about it, my name appeared again.   How can I get rid of him? • Adobe Muse Bug: Text resets after being published

  I had a strange problem with Muse. My text reset itself regarding the font and color. For example, I have the text in a certain format and color, but after publishing it, the text fonts will come back to Arial and black. It usually happens with any text in my foot. I will attach a few screenshots of the bug. The image of the first page, is how it is supposed to look like. The second bug is that I receive. I tried pinning, grouping and change the formatting of the text, but for some reason, nothing worked. Note that only the text footer is having this problem. I had this problem on other sites as well and never thought about it. Anyone who comes across it, or least have an idea what could be causing of this?

• 100 s-11IBY computer laptop (ideapad) - cannot adjust the brightness of the screen - windows 10

  Hello my f11 and f12 keys is no longer adjust my brightness. The gauge up and down, but does not change the brightness. I tried to update the graphics card in Device Manager, but he says that it is up-to-date. Same thing with 'Generic PNP Monitor' said that it is up-to-date. I wiped the computer clean and 'reset' and reinstalled windows and it still does not allow me to adjust the brightness of the screen

  I'm not incredibly intuitive with computers, but I followed the instructions as much as I could find during my research online with nothing doesn't.

  Initially, the problem occurred when I used out of ignorance a program to install the drivers it says have been exceeded. After that, my audio stop working and my keyboard stop working entirely. After resetting the computer and windows resettled, the only question that remains is the brightness of the screen not being able to be adjusted.

  I thought about it. My drivers intel had to be installed since I reinstalled windows. I used the utility of intel and updated driver to update the graphics card update

  I replaced one of the printheads in my OfficeJet Pro 8500 A and now every time I print it stops and tries to do a head alignment and then shows another screen asking me to choose my reward for the purchase of the print head.  The device prints very well and does not need to be aligned, whenever I print and I can't get rid of the message "claim your reward" that I said '' no thanks '' whenever I print a document.  Can someone tell me how to tell the printing to stop asking me to claim my rewards (which I'm not) and what about the machine to stop trying to do an alignment every time I want to print.  Every time I have let an alignment it takes a long time and then fails.  I'm not saying why, but that you said in the FAQ to make a comparison of the printed alignment pages and look for variations that will tell you why.  I do not see a change because they describe their and it works very well.  I'm ready to throw the thing because it works very well but me delays all day with messages and I have need of allignments.  Where is the hotfix that tells him to simply print and forget all the stuff of allignment.

• HP Office Jet G85, new Dell, Windows 8 (and 8.1) - refusal to print

  My G85 will not print for the purchase of a new computer with Windows 8 (later upgraded to 8.1).

  It will display the pages with very little content, as controls.

  However, with something else, the printer will print an inch or two of a page and then goes to error mode, eject the page without printing.   It's almost as if it were a print problem only.

  I did the following:

  • Installed new drivers, including the former pilots of the purge
  • Run print HP and Scan Doctor with the following results:
  • -The first time that I run it, it invariably recognizes the printer but the program crashes during the screen "selected Communication with your product."
  • -After cancellation and re - run 'the doctor', it prints a page with
    GET /DevMgmt/DiscoveryTree.xml HTTO/1.1
    HOST:
    and then finish on the screen "Impression of difficulty".
  • -When you run the "difficulty printing" on the State of the device is gives an unknown error (06) error code.
    I did the printer reset several times without success.
    If I jump the device status screen, the rest of the tests get a green check mark.
  • -If I print a test page, I get variable results.  Sometimes it prints only a line or two from the text of the alphabet at the top, sometimes it prints in color or down bars, and once it appeared to print the entire test (about half a page long) page.
  • I called Dell and spent more than an hour with the tech, redo much of what I described above, with the same results.  The tech said that the printer is "broken".

  The printer was working (and worked) very well with my old computer with XP (fully updated). He has never worked with the new computer and win 8.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I want to offer you both the information regarding this issue. You can try to perform a cycle power on your printer:

  1. Remove the power cord at the back of the printer while the printer is turned on.
  2. While the power cord is unplugged, press the power button for 20 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord into the printer and the printer.
  4. Try printing again.

  There is not really much more troubleshooting beyond what you both have already done. All I can recommend is to download and run the HP printer install wizard for Windows.
