    In fact, I just thought to it. So I got to do some time apparently traveling thanks to me by clicking on the wrong time, I was 3 hrs behind, always in August 3.     I'm one of the (many) people who cannot launch Civ V.  I installed it as good of the steam and out of the box and it will not just run.  It is not even really trying; He takes me to the screen that allows you to choose the version of directx 9 or directx 10/11.  No matter who I choose, it blocks immediately.

    When I tried to solve the problems, I've updated all my drivers and attempted to run dxdiag.  The exact message I get is:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dxgi.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.  Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.

    Note that this is similar to an error, I met once or twice when troubleshooting civ V and try to open the program in unorthodox way.

    Help, please!  This match was expensive and now that I have opened I don't know they won't let me go back lol.

    I have a problem with my VM ware / boot camp of activation. I have a Boot Camp partition on my Macbook Pro. I am able to boot the disc using the fusion, but when I try to use Boot Camp coming to the windows activation screen and my keyboard and mouse do not work so I can't press the button to continue. I tried to boot into safe mode on boot camp and the keyboard and mouse are not recognized either. I tried to plug in a keyboard and a USB mouse generic and is not no longer works. I am running XP pro (not OEM version).

    This sounds like it may be more than one Apple, or Microsoft problem. However, my recommendation would be to ensure that the leopard drivers have been properly installed. To install the insert drivers your Leopard installation disc and run the setup.exe if is not autorun. So, make sure you run software updates of the Mac OS to ensure you have the latest version of the Bootcamp drivers.
