  Calendar (aka Lightning) contains binary components, which are dependent on OS. Thus, you should not remove the add-on lightning in your add-ons Manager and install the Windows version of lightning.

  I tried to upgrade my L300 (and otherwise my P300) from Vista to Win 7 with two DVDs of upgrade provided by Toshiba end 2009. I followed all the instructions, as to recover the system to the State of delivery, deletion of outdated drivers and install new drivers with the DVD driver. But when I insert the Win 7 DVD and start the installation, I soon get the following (originally in German) error message:
  "The device compatibility data could not be loaded. Error code 0x1F.*.
  German support Toshiba could not answer my question so far, then I wonder what is the problem and how do I get my installation is going. It's kind of frustrating after paying for the upgrade DVD, but the installation does not work.

• A date does not

  I'm working on an application that performs work once per day.

  As part of the testing process for applications that use this feature, I usually go to settings-> Date & time

  and auto power off. Then press on set Date and jump to the front, the day by one or two, so that I can simulate a day pass and see that my application is properly.

  On this device (Motorola Admiral) when I press on set Date I get the dialog box date picker, just as expected. However when I select a date and press the set button this date does not appear to be stored correctly.

  Sometimes, the line below "value date" which shows what is scheduled to be updated correctly and indicate the date that I have just entered. But other times it will just display the current date. And in each case if I back the settings even this system that is the current date instead of the date to which I have just entered.

  Anyone can do the light on what I need to do to be able to properly set the date manually on this unit?

  So I bought a motorola 4G photon on ebay 5 days ago and had shipped here in New Zealand. I love the phone, but there are a few problems.

  When I switched on my phone (I got it today) it says network contact, faor for quite awhile. I've been patient and thought it was because it was the first time on this switching device. Then he said that he was unable to turn on the device (sprint). Just point, because the network was not setup.

  After a while was able to New Zealand vodafone settings and got my 3G connection work and I gave works too. I then swithced off the coast of announced phone turned back on it back. This time only it still unable to connect to the network and now my settings do not work. Calls and txts work, but my data is not... any more.

  Also is there a way for me to get rid of the sprint activation process, when I boot the phone?

  If you have to turn it off, try this... I found this suggestion in another forum:

  • Set your GSM network mode
  • before you turn your phone off, put it in "airplane mode".
  • Turn off the phone
  • back - turn the phone on
  • phone will boot into "airplane mode" with no active radios
  • Press the power button and hold the button until it appears the menu 'options on phone.
  • Disable "airplane mode".

  Your phone back if everything good in the mode it was in before you power off.

  You can only choose the restore point in the list of restore points that are available in the system restore.

  You say that you can not even start in Safe Mode, so method 1 will not help you, method 2 will not help you and 3 method will not help you.

  I start in the XP Recovery Console and first run a chkdsk/r on the afflicted system, but since we don't know anything about your system, we will need more information.
