Resize an individual window

Well, I have to admit that I'm completely blocked so I ask the experts for your help.  I was watching my emails (Hotmail) when I seem to hold my mouth exactly right by pressing the carpet just right mouse, at the moment even where I sang that to give the right.  Suddenly the screen on this single web page decided to go HUGE.  I have a touch screen and usually I can zoom in or UN-zoom a screen by spreading or pinching my fingers touching the screen.  Well, it does not work on my HUGE outlook Web page screen.  Two questions: (1) how can I get the individual web page to normal size, and (2) what sequence of keyboard strange mouse pad I have managed to do to trigger this suddenly zoom (so that I'll never again do I hope).  Thanks people...

CTRL + 0 (top of the row 0, not the zero keypad) will provide generally display of any program at the 100% level, and who also works in most places within Outlook.

  • Cannot resize the Firefox window under pixel 374

Using Firefox 26.0, completely new download and installation.

For various purposes, I'd like to be able to resize the entire window of Firefox on a width smaller than 374 pixel, however it no longer works. It remains simply greater than or equal to 374 pixels. Before I did the update to 26.0 this works beautifully.

Of course I can do it with web developer, but I'd rather have all the Firefox window to pixel 200 or 300 width in pixels for example.

Note that with the bookmarklet you will probably run into safety problems that Firefox does not allow a page opens as a pop-up.

You can hide all toolbars in a new window and use userChrome.css code to set a smaller width min.

Add code to the file userChrome.css below default @namespace.

The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #main-window:not([chromehidden~="toolbar"]) {min-width:200px!important;}

  • My goal is to be able to handle individual windows 'History' folder addresses as if each was a single data file.

I use Windows XP (with Service Pack 3) and IE8. My goal is to be able to handle individual windows 'History' folder addresses as if each were a data file.

Windows effectively extract individual addresses of the 'Historical' invisible system folder and place them in files 'short cut', an address by file.

I need to be able to reinstall these addresses in the 'History' folder (C:\Documents and Settings\ "profile name" \Local Settings\History) batch. I want to be able to specify what subfolder 'date' in 'Historic' must be installed for, but I want the "Web site" subfolder in the subfolder 'date' to be determined by the software. Batch processing is crucial; the process must be able to extract the Web addresses of thousands of "short cuts" and install these addresses to 'History', effectively, preferably in a single operation.

This would "roll" addresses to more recent dates in "history before they"expire"by management of the history of IE settings (Tools > Internet Options > Browsing History settings specifying 'Days for which these Pages are kept') or even between different facilities to explore."

Proper maintenance by the user could allow for recognige to explore a page that has been visited as long as a given computer was in use (e.g., after five years, 1825 days, rather than maxing out to 999 days). Or, as in my case, if we personalise a user profile for a particular task, we spend a lot of time with and Explorer history is an important part of this customization, one could also move the story of a machine one is being scrapped at the profile on the replacement machine. We could keep history for the life of the profile regardless of how many machines it was used on sequentially. We could even keep the profile on several machines at the same time (cabin office, Headquarters Office, laptop,...) and the history of synchronize between iterations of the profile.

Knowing that a Web page has been previously seen by only a quick look on the link to access the page can be a huge time saver!

Any suggestion that would allow to extract addresses from Windows 'short cuts' Web pages and reinstall these addresses in the 'History' folder, on a batch basis, would be highly appreciated.

They work in all applications, but not in Google Chrome. Please notify. Thank you. PS talk in terms of beginner I'm not a programmer. Thank you, again.

  • Set individual windows sizes

I can't figure out how to set the individual windows sizesin W7 and ask them to stay together.  I have a folder on desktop called 'Internet' where I keep a dozen boarding school associated shortcuts.  It is set to display as medium-sized icons and is sized to contain exactly these icons in two rows of six.  When I open my computer (do not know why we Keeping change the name of this function, but that's another debate) I have the list view and I want much more than the above desktop folder window.  However what happens is that whatever size is the last window I close, all open windows are then sized than the size.  I want windows to their size as well as their retail perspective.  Because the functionality is obviously built to keep the view on a basis by the window there must be possibility of he to retain size as well.  Please tell us how to do this.

According to the integrated help file, this feature has been removed.  I guess that's for A) performance if Windows is not obliged to maintain these data for each folder in the memory, B) did not work with the new Aero graphics system, C) that they really know you lists of shortcuts... or maybe all three reasons.

  • Resize the application window to customize the function of the screen - problem?

I know this may seem a little geek,

but I wanted to know why the function of the shortcut is irregular:

Resize the application window or floating window to fit screen. (Press again to resize the window so that the contents of the screen.)

    CTRL +-(backslash)

    Command +-(backslash)

1 window Resized to fit screen - activated via the shortcut Ctrl +-

    Screenshot (1).png

    2. the window is not Resized fit screen - function is disabled have it minimized the window

    (The title bar is hidden,

but the right is a vertical space,

where the software does not match the screen completely.)

    Screenshot (2).png

I want to know why this happens,

at least on Windows is... (Yes, I use Windows 10)

    It would be on purpose?

Some features to help with something,

When the user returns to minimize the window?

I wanted to keep window screen will perfectly still.

    even when minimized and return to the software;

I need more space on the screen,

in the vertical direction especially (because I have a screen ultra widescreen 2560 x 1080).

To see a preview of the video is better,

because 50 percent of the preview screen,

However, if the proposed title bar (i.e. without use shortened).

    lose a small percentage.

I want the amount of space as possible.

I'm tired of getting retracing the shortcut each time I pass a task.

Submit a bug report and use the version of application window for now. Maybe someone here could offer a workaround solution, but I think we have said pretty much everything what it means

  • Download VHD resizer for comments, Windows XP operating system and host operating system Windows 7

    People,

Hello. I'm under VMPlayer 3. My OS is Windows 7 and the guest operating system is Windows XP.

Because the virtual guest OS Windows XP hard drive is full, I need to decompress. http://wmtoolkit.com/files/folders/converters/entry87.aspx does not work.

    My question is:

Can any folk provide a link to download VHD Resizer for guest Windows XP and Windows 7 host?

    Thanks in advance.

First of all, is correct install VHD resizer in Windows 7 operating system and not guest OS Windows XP host?

No it should not be installed in any to resize a VMware virtual hard drive.  The .vhd file extension is used with Microsoft virtulazition no VMware. (Does not mean a .vhd cannot be used, as it can however it not typical.)

Secondly, what file is selected to resize?

None like which is not how a VMware virtual disk gets developed from the interface of VMware Player!

Resize a virtual hard drive via the VMware Player GUI is done using the Expand command on the Utilities menu, when you select the virtual hard disk under settings of the virtual machine on the material tab

Suggest you only look in the help file in VMware Player!    VMware Player 3.x menu > help > Help topics > use of disks and drives > Virtual Machine disk storage > parameters of the hard disk to the virtual disks

Once the disc has been extended then the virtual partition to be resized and Andre, I like to use GParted Live ISO Image.

Thirdly, why no unoccupied hard disk in the virtual Windows XP computer after resizing settings completed?

Not sure what you mean by "why no empty disc ', 'unoccupied '?  Screenshot of the Hardware tab for the target VM THAT could help explain what you mean by 'unoccupied '.  However if you try to resize a VMware virtual hard drive in VMware Player 3.x then extend the disk in the virtual machine settings, then use info to the link provided by André in the first reply in this thread!

  • How did you help file .chm maintain its position of the window when the user resizes the Help window.

One of my customers complained that the content help scrolls out of view when the window is resized.  Is there a way to anchor the position while the window is resized?

Ok. I understand what they want now. Unfortunately there is no way to achieve what they want. A consequence of resizing of the window, is that you lose focus on what is selected in the section. This is something that affects all windows, not only the CHM files. Try selecting part of a web page and the resizing of the window. The same happens.

I noticed earlier that I can resize is no longer my firefox window horizontally, the border seems to have disappeared. I tried using google and various other sites to find a solution to this and I get to court. I tried several things, safe mode, by pressing F11, clear cookies, cache, even reinstall. The problem still exists and I don't know what caused it. He has also plagued various flash applications, they are no longer the scale to the size of the window and pieces are cut. Any ideas?

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and bars scrolling down.

Open the system menu via Alt + space and see if you can resize the window.

If it works, then close Firefox to save the setting.

  • How resize/move any window

I don't know if it's possible, but is it possible to resize wondows on the monitor which do not belong to a LabVIEW VI? I know that you can move windows to the front with windows API calls, but it is possible to resize ot move them? I just want to be sure that I'm not on a wild goose chase.

A remote desktop session is basically just show you a picture of what is happening, it is not a good program with child windows.

If you want to control these windows, you write a server application on the remote PC your LabVIEW program communicates with.  You would have to send to the server a message to resize the window and remote program run real resizing.

  • The resizing of the Windows form performs a test of the Windows XP computer.

Original title: resizing the form event performs.

I have a c# program that uses the Windows form resize event. On my Win 7 and the machine on 1 of my XP machines

  • cannot close, resize or minimize windows.

That's the problem as described by deborahhughes.

I can't close or minimize a window by using the icons in the upper right of the window.
I resize or move any window.
I can not get a right-click pop - up to work on the set of the low program.
I don't get any error code or the message.  Nothing happens

I CAN close a window using alt - f4, file > exit or using master.

Other problems that may or may not be related.

When I try to open the Device Manager and many other programs of the Control Panel, I get a small box labeled "Microsoft Management Console" that says: "cannot create document empty."    This box will have a button at the bottom to click, but it is empty.   These white buttons also appear in several other boxes pop up.

There are 3 updates of windows usually trying to install when I start but never go beyond 0% installed and, finally, exhale and return to the previous settings.

I am running Vista Home Premium Service pack 1

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I found the answer that fixed all my problems.

The basics are that you will find a hidden file under the name of "user32.dll.mui" in C:\windows\system32\en_US
and replace it with a copy of the file in another location on the disk or a copy under a different name as 'user32copy.dll.mui' or ' user32 (2).dll.mui'.
I found that my original "user32.dll.mui" file was empty and one that I have found elsewhere on the disk was about 17 k in size.

You will need to follow the detailed instructions include take "ownership" of the file before, it can be renamed, but it worked for me.
