Response from the desktop in Windows Live Mail

I currently use Windows Live Mail and need to know how to create a 'out of Office response' for emails - how to do this?

Maybe some help here: http://www.am-novice.com/US/Computer/Logiciel/outlook_express/out_of_office_outexpress.html

  • Import e-mail messages from Outlook Express in Windows Live Mail?

I have recently moved to a new PC with Win7 and have been using Live Mail - more often with success, I thought with the exception of one or two faults, but I'll probably post a question on those.
On the audit of my old PC today, when I open Oulook Express have been downloaded more than 100 emails that have not appeared in Live Mail - dating back to the time I went.
I tried to export these messages of OE, put it on a USB key and then import in LM LM do not seem to recognize them - these are the dbx files. Suggestions anyone please?
    Thank you in advance.
    Jeff.

If both computers use the same e-mail address, you must do this to get the messages on both.

On both machines: tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: leave a copy of messages on the server.

On a single computer only, make sure to delete messages after X days to satisfy your allocated space that you get from your server.

If you just need to transfer these 100 messages, put a Windows folder on the desktop. Drag the messages of OE this folder. Copy the folder on the new machine and drag the messages into a folder of WLMail.

You will need to ask here:

And you need to display an error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight then right click to copy and then paste in this thread. Just the number of code alone is not enough.

    Hi Doug MacDonald.

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. What web browser are you using to print Web pages?

If you use Internet explorer, then change the margin settings to the title of the page setup in the file menu and check if that helps.

See the articles below and check if it helps.

  • during the transition from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail, is the address book data stored and also the info in files

I'm afraid that if I upgrade the form Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail, I will lose all e-mail addresses in my address book current as well as the information contained in the files - models etc.

If you install WLMail on your XP machine, it has to import messages and addresses automatically and nothing will be lost of OE.

If you like WLMail better than OE, you are a person better than I am.

  • Can't receive mail from Hotmail account using the phone or windows live mail

    Hello

I'm having a problem where I get a sign in error whenever I try to access my Hotmail account using my smartphone or windows live mail.

I CAN however use my web browser to connect and access the account in this way.

I tried using 2 different laptops (windows 7 on both) and my android phone.

I have reset the password twice and still have no chance to access the account outside the approach of above web browser.

It seems that this problem has affected my direct mail phone and windows at the same time, and I am at a loss for a line of conduct.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Thanks in advance

It seems that if you have activated the two-step verification when you changed your
password. If you did, you can not use this password to authenticate in stupid
programs like Windows Live Mail which cannot ask or submit to security codes. You
need to generate a unique password app to use in situations like this.

  • Import messages from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail Inbox

I can't import my Inbox of Outlook Express to WIndows Live Mail.  I saved my OE Inbox to a file .csv to a flash drive.   I then copied the file from my desktop flash player.   I open Live Mail, import, Microsoft Outlook express and stressed the desktop icon of the file.   I get an error that no message is available.  What I am doing wrong?

Contacts can be saved on one. CSV, no messages file.
OE contacts are stored in a .wab file. You can import this (or a CSV file)
in WLM. Just open WLM, open Contacts, do a file-import-etc.

Your messages in OE are already stored in .dbx files. Copy all the .dbx
files on the XP computer in a temporary folder on the Windows 7 computer.
Be sure to include the folders.dbx file.

then open WLM and don't file - import - etc.

Use the settings recommended from Verizon. Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties.
