Restart the laptop everytime I close.

Hello people...

I have the problem that whenever I close my T60 still running, I have to restart again. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Take a good look at your message and see if you can understand why your will is not ot get an answer...

You will probably notice that you are the only person who knows what type of computer you have, or what exactly you mean by "close."

We also have no idea what operating system or software that you have installed, so the best I can do is give you a generic answer.

Open what that default power manager your help and change the properties of what happens when the lid is closed. The options are usually...

Stop

Sleep

Hibernate

nothing

Looks like you want it to do anything.

    Hi GhettoBoy,

How do you delete user accounts? Is it just C:\Dosument and settings users or accounts under the control panel? If you don't want to keep all these account data, you can try to delete the profile of click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> system-> Advanced-> user profile and select the profile and remove. Also check under 'User accounts' in the control panel to remove the names of users.

    Hello

If you do not, use another PC to create a rescue CD Windows 7.  Download the ISO relevant among the links below.

    Windows 7 32 bit

    Windows 7 64 bit

You must use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  One time created, or if you already have this, typing away at the esc key when you launch Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Insert the rescue CD.  Select boot options (usually f9), use the arrow keys to select the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.  You can also get a prompt to "Press any key to" continuous - it if requested.

When loading, select repair your computer and choose the command prompt.  When this charge, enter the following commands and press on enter after everyone – including spaces as shown.

    Bootrec.exe

    bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

    c:

    Boot CD

    BCD attrib s h - r

    Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

    Bootrec /RebuildBcd

    Bootrec /fixmbr

    Bootrec /fixboot

Remove the rescue CD and try to restart the laptop.

  • Network printer stops working after restarting the laptop

I have 2 PCs both running windows Vista. A PC is a desktop computer ACER with a printer connected to a USB Port (HP Photosmart C4480). The 2nd PC is an ACER laptop also on windows Vista. I have a network home and print away from the laptop. Problem is when I restart the laptop I can't print remotely and do are Add' the printer again. Print spooling is nec automatic and active. I have downloaded the latest drivers HP for the printer. Just a note to say that ACER laptop my son who works in XP does not have this problem and can print after a reboot.

Hi GaryPolaris and thanks for the answer.

What is the brand and model of your printer? Have you checked to see if the printer is compatible with Vista? You can check this in the Vista Compatibility Center located at this URL http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/ . Also, you can try installing the Vista drivers on the XP machine. If the manufacturer has released Vista drivers simply download and install the drivers on your XP machine.

I hope this helps. Please post back and let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.

  • I just bought a PC C50 toshiba laptop with windows 10. I would like to ask if someone can tell me if it is easy to remove the Windows OS 10 and restart the laptop with my windows disc 7.

    * Original title: delete windows 10

Hi, I just bought a PC C50 toshiba laptop with windows 10. Is not not a geek, I would like to ask if someone can tell me

If it is easy to remove 10 OS and restarting the laptop with my windows disc windows 7, the reason why I want to do is

because I have aready have a desk top running 7, but it is to the top at the moment and could use the laptop backup

You must ask your win-10 computer make this question

They would have made drivers for this machine for win - 7

    If not then no.

Your only option is to return it and ask for a unit that has win 7 drivers.

  • I was somehow infected and after restarting the laptop, it goes to a white screen.

    Original title: Virus

I have an old HP Pavilion 2008. I was somehow infected and after restarting the laptop, it goes to a white screen. Not even the HP logo lights up. I can't access installation even though I know which key press.

I created a bootable windows DVD 7 and a USB port. I can not even boot from one of them. With the DVD, it sounds like it wants to read, but there is something else wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the HP logo comes and you can't access BIOS, the problem is more likely to be at a lower level. A failed HARD drive should not prevent you from access to the configuration.

Several things can cause the logo appears at the top (I write from a HP Pavillion 2008). I've dealt with many laptops such as yours and have seen many causes. Faulty RAM memory is a. A problem with the video chip is another. In fact several kinds of tokens (two bridges, video..). A virus is more unlikely but not impossible (if he messed with your BIOS, it is possible).

If you don't see movement in your DVD or HARD drive, something I'm leaning more towards the video chip. Especially if it's Nvidia or Radeon - it would be a miracle if you use an HP laptop of 9 years with a powerful video (so that there is time) without having had any problems with it until now (mine is Intel). They overheat easily.

What I would do in your case:

    1. remove the battery and unplug the unit. Give it 10 minutes and see what happens. Small chance, it would be useful, but it's easier to test.

    2. If you are reluctant to remove anything yourself proceed to 4. Otherwise, open the case and look for a reset (might want to read in the manual how to do it), remove the internal battery.

3 try to remove the first (try to run) then the other of your plates to RAM (assuming you have two). During the race, all the tests remove the drive HARD and DVD just to eliminate the possibility of interference. If you manage to get started and get the logo and enter BIOS start adding parts back one by one and you will find the faulty one.

    4. If it at a gas station. Now you can do anything, if you can not enter BIOS so it must be a hardware change.

  • V3 - 574G black and cannot restart the laptop screen

Currently unable to use the laptop at all because he has himself in a State where I can not restart to reset.

When "on", the keypad backlight is on but the laptop has a black screen - and pressing caps lock for example does nothing (should be a status light?) and pressing Fn + F9 does not switch the backlighting on the keyboard.  The battery charge light turns on when I plug the power supply as the power light when the laptop is supposed to be 'on '.

The obvious thing to try is to hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, but after I press power for 2 seconds, the power goes out and continuing to press on the power button are nothing else.  Pressing power again after a delay to turn it back on to bring him in the same black screen condition as before.

Can anyone help?  I saw a previous response where the solution is to open the back of the laptop to remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes - but have never opened the laptop before and would rather not as still under warranty.

The machine is an Acer V3 - 574 G-56LU, and I have updates Windows automatic running (so has updated to Windows 10 anniversary for example), and I regularly use the Nvidia GeForce driver for the graphics card update.

A happy ending - has proved to be a card mother dud.

How's this for Acer service? Referred to a case of repair, dropped the laptop off the next day (Friday) to a UPS drop-off, delivery performed Monday at the centre of repair, motherboard diagnosed and replaced within 2-3 hours and packed for shipping to me upward this morning. UPS return delivery the next day (this Tuesday afternoon). Data on the hard drive that I couldn't save all intact. I am delighted! Thanks Acer!

  • Restart firefox the same as restarting the laptop computer in general?

Previous page says "not available in multiprocessu support accessibility" and restart firefox to solve this problem. Restart firefox different when I reboot the computer for something else?

    No, it's not the same.

Close Firefox and wait a few seconds for Firefox close completely all the database files 'temporary' internal then restart Firefox. It is a "reboot" for Firefox.

There is no button "restart" in the user interface has been provided with the installation of Firefox by default. There is a feature to 'restart' (menu item) in the developer console and a good number of extensions add a real "Restart button" user interface

  • Restarting the laptop

I recently had to perform a restore of my system because of a problem. After the laptop ran the recovery program, I found most of my programs have been "kidnapped". Now I have no sound, and I have a list of about 20 programs that have been deleted. I tried to locate programs, but some of them require a trial... Not really sure what to do to get my system back to where it was.

What "recovery program" are you talking about?

Specifically, the Reset Win10 function registers NOT all applications you have installed. Instead, he wanted to return to the State to have a clean OS, with nothing installed on the other.

Refresh Win10 service registers CERTAIN applications, but only those that you have installed in the Windows store.

  • My bluetooth keyboard was paired at once and no longer connect after restarting the laptop.

    I use Lenovo X 240, Windows 7, 64-bit SP1.

I could paired Bluetooth keyboard (a commercial) with the first typing test was properly installed/combined and worked properly.

After a days, I tried to use it again (battery full Bluetooth device). The device shown and no difficulty in any shoot yellow sign. But the unit could not answer with the laptop.

I also checked with other devices; SONY Smartphone and iPadPro, this Bluetooth keyboard works well without any problem with both devices.

I also try to check Bluetooth signal from the Labtop, iPadPro saw the laptop Bluetooth signal.

I also try to remove the device, but I could not because the cell phone was lock with security code. It's my company does not have a private.

  • CyberLink icon appeared after restarting the laptop

Told me to restart my computer and after it restarted this cyberlink icon skipped on my homescreen.

    http://gyazo.com/dde4a4810fcf26daa75700fe07c844da

I just wanted to know how get rid of?

    Hello again Froglamp,

    Thanks for the quick response!

To avoid the Cyberlink icon that appears on your desktop whenever you start your laptop, I advise you to follow the steps described in this document on the using Microsoft System Configuration (Windows 8). This should help to disable Cyberlink as a startup program when your computer starts Windows 8.1.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

    Concerning

  • This morning update of Firefox has been downloaded but does not restart the laptop. He's trying to start and the lights on the keyboard. He continually tries to restart. The screen is blank. It was working fine until I clicked on restart.

PC IS A COMPAQ PRESARIO V6000 RUNNING WINDOWS XP

PC DOES NOT RESTART AFTER THE LAST FIREFOX DOWNLOAD THIS MORNING

The PC screen does not light and I think he's dead. It can be quite fortuitous, and there may be a hardware failure that he would have stopped working even without the download of firefox. I'll have to consider Repair shop and see if anything can be saved on the hard disk.

    Thanks anyway

    Hello

I have the same problem and probably, I know the reason. I have a laptop Asus UX21E (win pro 8.1). the Wi - Fi network that I use is far from my workplace. my laptop can receive the signal very well, but my laptop can not. I tried to use my laptop as a router for internet access on my cell phone so I followed an instruction to make a new virtual network on my laptop. the statement was like these steps:

step 1: open cmd as administrator.

step 2: copy this command and press ENTER: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid =something key =a number

step 3: copy this command and press ENTER: netsh wlan start hostednetwork

step 4: network share physical adapter Internet access to the new virtual network (under the properties and the sharing tab)

It works very well, but after that this error has occurred several times.

    Thanks in advance
