restore a previous version of first pro

I installed the latest version of PP 2015 but I crushed my previous version 7.2.1. I used this version because CC 2014 was unstable and would crash constantly. I was told that I had to create a new project instead of load a project from an earlier version. I now have the same problem with 2015. Is it possible to restore PP CC 7.2.1. so I don't have to start from scratch?

As a side not, Adobe should realize by now that users may need to open old projects on previous versions of CC. I'm surprised that Adobe does not support this basic function.
