Restore deleted the extensions module

I can not figure out how to restore deleted an extension add-on on the accident. Does anyone know how to restore them?

These can not get your data back, but will help in the future.

These modules can be a great help for the backup and restoration of Firefox

  • Is it possible to restore, deleted the sticky notes?

Hi, can someone tell me if it is possible to restore, deleted the sticky notes? I use windows 7. Best regards, Peter.

    Hello

Follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps:

    (a) navigate to C:\Users\Directory of Notes \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Sticky.

    (b) right click on StickyNotes.snt,

    (c) select restore previous Versions.

This will extract the file from your last restore point, if they are available.

If you close it Sticky Note by right clicking on the taskbar, it closes the application of Sticky Note.  However, the next time you open the reminder will return your data.  This also applies if you leave sticky noted when you restart your computer.

    I hope this helps.

  • Cannot delete the system Module

My application consists of 2 modules. A system with autostart module and a module "classic."  I never had no problems update of the modules with the desktop so far Manager. The module system refuses to update and it is impossible to remove it. I'm stuck with an older version. If I do an uninstall via Desktop Manager, only the non-system module is removed. Try to remove the module from the system via the Options, device, application management does not work. The module is there, but a "Delete" option is not available for this module.

Try an installation via Desktop Manager it reports as an "update", but the sysm module is not updated

Version of the platform on my torch is 6.6.0.236.  The software version is 6.0.0.668 and my version of Desktop Manager 6.0 Bundle 2949.

I'm completely stuck! Can not update the module of the system. It is a new problem. I have this Setup developed for several years and never had a problem like this before. It's extremely frustrating

This module is the same (32-bit or 64-bit) version as the version of Firefox you are using?

You may also add the ACE in the card reader when loading this module.

  • My Firefox updated and since I was spamming people, nothing is picked up on my antivirus and I deleted the offending module - ideas?

I removed the add-on of Fireshot which updated as it began to happen, it has opened a window of announcement. I ran my anti-virus full with nothing found.

Hello, if you think that this is a problem caused by adware on your pc, go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  • Restore deletes the encryption key?

    Hello

I have asked a few people that already, but have not really gotten a yes / no answer. I know using "erase all content and settings ' clears the encryption key of your phone (6 +, existing iPhone running iOS 8.1) but to restore through iTunes does as well? I did a DFU restore both a regular restore.

The phone is broken so I am unable to do anything on the device. I assure you none of my information bank or private photos can be recovered as I return to my operator to get a replacement with their insurance program. Are they renovate and resell it, I want to make sure that nothing can be recovered.

    Thank you

  • Added Yahoo Toolbar and Add-ons Manager no longer shows the extensions one I can't access the function "get addons".

I added a Yahoo toolbar for Firefox that has been customized for Frontier Communications. I Ghostery installed as an add-on, and she flashed a message that Yahoo toolbar confused its effective functioning and I would like to disable or uninstall the toolbar. I open the Add-ons Manager to do and much to my surprise he now showed no extension at all, but they all seemed still works! All my plug-ins appear when I look on the Add-ons Manager. I checked the "Get function modules and it tries to load but does not succeed." I am running Firefox 10.0.2.

Please also try to delete the extensions.* files in the right out of the Firefox profile folder. Firefox will recreate the files and information. Please note that at the next startup, Firefox can request permissions, opening several tabs with each tab corresponds to a detected extension. Select allow the installation, click continue, but click on restart only on the last tab. You can also try to leave out the suspects without selecting modules and continue. I hope it will solve the problem.

    Files & Firefox profile folder

Another way would be to try a new profile. Firefox stores the data from profile/personal separately from its installation folder. If the new profile is correct, you can later copy/replace files of the old profile in it, for example. the places.sqlite who holds history + information of favorites, the folder of bookmarks which has backups dated only bookmarks, signons3.txt + signons.sqlite which are necessary to restore successfully a saved website names to user/passwords etc. Please note that in this case, although it is also possible to copy the extensions it may be preferable to install again via Tools > Modules search box or AMO.

  • Can't remove plugin using the extensions Manager

I installed my plug-ins in InDesign CS5 using the Extension Manager CS5, the installation is successful. When I select my plugin entry in the list of plug-ins installed and then click on the button Delete, the extensions Manager displays a progress bar and the line disappears from the list, but the plug-in is in the Plug-Ins folder intact!

What is going on? How to make sure that the plug-in is deleted/uninstalled? Is there a log of errors in the extensions Manager file?

    Thank you very much.

You can simply remove plugin-manager-type = "all users" and enabled for active - all = "true" in the mxi file and then create again this extension.

  • How to configure the system restore does not delete the specific file such as the .gbp extension?

    Hi all!

I use software as my ERP system (it handles very important data) and what software is running on FireBird SQL server a there database firebird with extension '.gdb '.

Some of my partners use Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 and all we/they have a same problem.

When Windows recognize a system error and to restore of the system (or reboot) and to apply changes this process until the last restore point Windows guarantee also remove data from my database .gdb and in this scenario, I lose all the data entered into these days here (upone the last restore point).

Thios is strange because it deletes the data from the production database ('.gdb') a step of the backup database (".bkp").

    My question is:

is there any way I can prevent the system restore to do not touch specific such as .gdb extensions when the restoration of the system (or reboot) is happening?

i.e.Something as exceptions in the firewall?

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards!

    Alen

The only way to prevent the restoration of the system do not touch data is to put the data into an "intact" location, such as your Documents folder.

  • My Firefox has just automatically updated itself to the version 42. The extention under modules page does not display the extensions I have installed.

My Firefox has just automatically updated itself to the version 42. The extention under modules page does not display the extensions I have installed. The plug in page shows the plug ins I installed. How can I fix it? This happened on my 64 bit Windows 7 partition. I installed the extension "classic add-on" to see if she could solve the problem. There is unfortunately no. I have a screenshot. I'm not sure if I have permission to upload it to the media gallery. I also use Linux, but I did not upgrade that are still there.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

  • Restore the folder structure in the library Module

The folder and subfolders of the library module has been accidentally deleted. The pictures are still in my catalog, just organized folders are no longer there. The section is empty. • Download gTranslate extension. How can I place a shortcut icon on the taskbar module at the bottom of the page so that I can use it?

I added the gTranslate for Firefox extension. It is clearly shown in the list of current extensions that I have. I tried to place a shortcut icon on the toolbar at the bottom of the page module (back side where the page zoom-in/zoom icons are displayed).

Procedure, I used: right click on the empty space on the toolbar at the bottom of page module. Click "Customize". Opens the square shape of the icons, but I don't see anything for the extension of gTranslate, I could "drag / drop" on the toolbar of the add-on.

Ask for help with this issue.

gTranslate not icons. You must select the text, right-click and hover the mouse over the menu item translate... and wait that the translated text to appear. You can also change languages in the submenu, or alternatively via Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > Addons > Extensions, gTranslate Options.
