Retina display and pixelation CS6 InDesign

Hello

There had been no software update for InDesign CS6 that supports Retina display? I recently upgraded my Macbook to a retina display and InDesign icons and text appear pixelated. It's really annoying! Is it possible to fix this? Is the purchase of fix CC?

Thank you!

The update is version that CC CS6 will never support the Retina displays.

  • Retina display support for urgent indesign!

I know that this has been said before, but indesign is really impassable for long periods of time without getting a headache. It is a program designed for text and when this text is illegible it is a problem. Please please please update this soon.

So I'm afraid you'll have to do with what you have. CS6 will not be updated for HiDPI poster.

You should keep in mind that as a licensee CS6 you can get to the Fink package creative cloud throughout the first year for only 20 $par month. Your call, of course.

This offer expires at the end of July.

Sometimes a reboot solves the problem. I rebooted about 10 times now and its stil the same.

    Hey Buddy,

As wrote Akuma, please connect an external monitor to check if the problem is graphic or screen associated.

Also make sure that display latest Toshiba driver (not Intel) is installed. All drivers provided by Toshiba are pre-tested and works well on the laptop.

Last but not least: are you using pre-installed Windows version, or you have installed your own version?

  • InDesign is not compatible with the retina display

I just learned from a representative of Adobe on the cat no. InDesign versions are compatible with the retina display. How people dealing with this?

InDesign CC is certainly consistent with a Retina display. However, CS6 or earlier versions are definitely not.

  • Yellow/green Cast in Photoshop CS6 after calibration of the Retina display

I use a MacBook Pro with screen Retina and color eyes display Pro with colored eyes to calibrate my monitor.  It works perfectly, except that when I open Photoshop (or even the Adobe updater now), the entire screen goes clear green / yellow!  See the attached photo, it is quite nuts and give you a headache after a few seconds to look at it.  I tried the turn of thought of treatment GPU, it would conflict with that and a dozen other small attempts to get rid of him and nothing!  I'm finally back to calibration by default for the Retina display, and it's not that bad, but obviously not yet calibrated.  I can't for the life of me find someone else who has this problem, I'm crazy?

    Thank you!

Well, then, I really only reported it because I thought that maybe in the future someone else would have encountered the same problem.  I found the solution!  Color eyes Display Pro spits like a version 4 ICC profile and the LABORATORY made 16-bit file.  It turns out that is not compatible in some way (would love and technology Adobe answer for me is - what GPU or something else listen here?).  Fortunately, there is an option to change color eyes Display Pro.  I changed it to "Matrix based" instead and voila!  Here is a screenshot from wherever the option is, just click on "profile"parameter and change the second drop at the base of the matrix.  ICC v2 has not worked for me either, any program that crashed.

  • You can convert InDesign CS6 InDesign CC?

I currently have CS6 and a retina display and it looks blurry as hell.  I discovered that the CS6 doesn't have an update for the retina rather a new program.  I've already paid for the creative suite, but I can't find any option to get InDesign CC without paying again for her.  Is anyway getting CC without purchasing again?

If you do not for InDesign CC yet, then don't think in terms of pay yet once again.  But to get it, you should not pay for it.  It is not a free update of CS6.  CS6 is actually old software comapred to the current version of InDesign CC, and the current version of InDesign CC is on a subscription basis, which means that rent you rather than own it it... you pay for it on a regular basius, either annually or monthly.

  • DPS for the Retina display

I work to implement a folio for display on a retina display and I am struck a snag with my status multi object overlays. I have rebuilt the folio and all items in the 24 Viewer version and set all my article in PDF formats. The issue that happens with my navigation buttons. They are placed as a slideshow in overlays and I put the export format to vector. Looks like I did all this suggested. The overlay (State 2) makes very good and crispy I could hope to be. But the orignial (State 1) remains pixelated and seems to be made in the form of raster image. I don't know if I forget something simple but I could of course use an outside opinion.

    Thank you

    -Dylan

Creating a folio of 2048 x 1536 only works if you create renderings of folio for a multi-folio application. If you create a single-folio application, or if you don't want to implement the "renditions", workaround is to create an invisible button that appears on the button image.

The downside of the invisible button approach is that you cannot include different button appeared to [Normal] and [Clcik]. There is a solution more complex which allows you to create appearances different button in a unique rendition article involving the ESM. Let me know if you are interested and I'll get into the details.

  • Abandon Macbook - Retina display

Here is what happened.   My Macbook 13 "retina fell about 2 1/2 feet on the floor with the screen remains open.  There is light coming from the top monitor at right and bottom left.  Nothing else.   I plugged it in via HDMI and it gives the gray screen after the Apple and is sitting there.   It starts fine in safe mode.  I checked the disk, diagnostics, etc.   Given that everything was going well until it was abandoned, I must assume that this is the display.

After a few hours of pouting, I just accept that the screen can be gone, if there are a few troubleshooting that I'm missing.   However, I wish I could continue to use via HDMI and another monitor, without being in safe mode.  I guess it's the gray screen due to the fall.   In this case, it would be nice to get around the Retina display and hopefully start fine otherwise.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

If you see a good image on the monitor. So yes, it is the display OR the top connection of the screen that is the problem.  Make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a final assessment.  It will be FREE!  If it's the connection, you will be very lucky (repair at low cost), if it is the display, not as lucky (costly repairs).

    Good luck.

    Ciao.

  • MacBook Pro retina display bug?

I don't know how to submit a bug report, so I post the problem here. Can't move the mouse outside the window of computer virtual and the movement of the mouse is extremely slow and erratic when you enable the full resolution for the retina display and set the size of text and other items to 200% in the control panel to Windows 7. Everything works as it should with 150% but as soon as you change to 200% (which is a must work on a MacBook Pro with the retina display) the problem starts immediately. I have a MacBook Pro with the retina with Mac OS X 10.8.1 and Fusion 5.0.1 and Windows 7 with SP1. Everyone has noticed this annoying problem?

Turn off the power of the shadow of cursor. On 192DPI, shadow strength slider the slider made software, that really seems to shake the ease curve smile fusion.

For some cursors generally less crappy, please take a look at:

  • Acrobat fuzzy XIPro with retina Display MBP

I have the new 15 "MBP with retina display and my PDF documents, opening in Acrobat XIPro, seem extremely blurry even when the majority of the file's vector graphics based. In fact, the interface of Acrobat is extremely blurry. The file looks like perfectly crisp and clear when displayed using the Viewer from Apple software. Is there a solution? Is Adobe behind on an update for this problem? I've already messed around with preferences without result. Thanks for your help...

    Hi jaytahoe,

There are some update: Retina display will be fully supported for the next quarterly release of Acrobat and Reader XI, who could be available in September.
