  I have a list called collected addresses. I also have another list called personal address book that I no longer use. I need to know how to move addresses from the personal address book in the list of collected addresses and remove the personal address book. I would also like to know how to create and delete addresses or lists books.

  I prefer to call these "address books", because that is what are called Thunderbird. There are also things called "Mailing Lists", your reference to an 'address book' as a 'list' seems a recipe for confusion. Despite having the things called "books"address"inside something called the"address book"is also a bit unnecessary.

  Thunderbird is coded in hard to use the collected addresses and personal address book. If you do not remove one of these it will just silently be replace it.

  I think you are using their rear to the front. PAB is intended to be the address book by default. It is the target of the action "Add to address book" when you click on an address in a message header. This is the default location for the collection of addresses that you send to if they are not already somewhere in your address book. According to my experience, some addresses that are automatically added to the CA have no place in my address book and I would be bored if they "polluted" my address book of real work.

  If you were going to stop using one of these two, I would recommend to use PAB and ignore CA. You can set the default addition of unknown contacts to go to PAB rather than Look it. under Tools | Options | Composition.

  Why would you remove PAB and then move forward to create a new address books? You can rename if the name offends you. But it will always be the default target for adding new Contacts.

  To move a Contact, in theory, you drag and drop Contacts in an address book to another. You open the donor, then drag and drop it on the icon of the will. I say "in theory" because I have Thunderbird installed on two different systems and any works drag-and-drop, at the present time. Maybe it's the related module, but I have not tried mode without fail to check for this.

  Thank you for your question regarding the display picture in BBM.

  Currently the photo cannot be zoom out for a full display under your profile picture. Only the area displayed in the window of the harvest can be selected for display.

  Certainly, we have... Check the API call 'net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.Invoke', it was 'APP_TYPE_ADDRESSBOOK' which allows to connect to the native address book.

  Also, make sure the "net.rim.blackberry.api.invoke.AddressBookArguments", which gives you multiple ways in which you can call the address book.

  Then you can try upgrading the BBM to the latest version available for your device?

  Make that first make a local backup of your BBM contacts, after backup, delete or uninstall any existing version of your BlackBerry. On your home screen, go to Options > Advance Options > application > BlackBerry Messenger > delete BlackBerry Messenger of this list (highlight BBM press on the menu key and select delete)

  Once it is perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min, then reinsert back.

  Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the latest available for your device.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BBM do not change the display picture

  I noticed that when I try to change my display picture that does not actually updated in the network. In other words, people still see my old picture instead of the new. Now, it's happening for multiple users on my BBM. I see people update their profile messages complaining that their isn't changing either.

  I thought it was something related to the carrier, but people who use different carriers have complained about the same. Can you please advise or worsen it?

  The problem has been fixed. I can now change my display picture. I guess it was a temporary problem. You can try yours now and try it with a different one that you have your display picture...

  I guess the moral of the story is, if many people with these problems a bit, just wait a bit. the folks at RIM will be noticed & repair.

  I use an iPhone 5 s and when I take pictures in square mode and try to use them as a picture on BBM they rotate 90 degrees. Am I the only one to go through this? This is quite annoying

  @Akhee_  Thank you for taking the time to reach out on this issue. I did some tests and I was able to reproduce the behavior you mentioned below and I connected an element for further investigations.

  During my tests, I noticed also that sending the same image someone to iPhone via e-mail also causes the image to rotate 90 degrees when it is received.

  Finally the following can be used as a workaround for this problem. Change the setting for 'PHOTO' inside the camera, one of these photos do not rotate when it is used as a display picture.

  If you encounter the problem you can contact the technical support of your carrier MTN, they can consider the issue.

  Yet what version of BBM are you on your device? Try to reinstall the same, if you want to try it then your homescreen go to Options > device > Application Management > delete BlackBerry Messenger in the list, and then do a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered. After the reboot of your Explorer BlackBerry browser to www.blackberry.com/bbm to download BBM. Try it and see if that helps with your problem.

  This problem occurs because Windows Vista cannot update the thumbnail cache.

  In Windows Vista, the "Thumbnail" option from the view and menu displays is not called "Vignettes" but "Large icons" or "Medium icons" etc. When you choose one of the following options, you will get the thumbnail view of your folders and files in the right side of Windows Explorer or any other window display pane.

  Windows Explorer has a preview pane which can be opened, which can display the contents of certain file types and play movies.

  Step 1: Perform the steps from the link below and check if the problem persists.

  There is currently no way to get the display name when using the PIN to inspect the history files. So I don't think the .csv analysis will help you.

  I don't know about the context of your application, but if you were to use the BBM SDK, you can retrieve the display name of your BlackBerry contacts using BBMPlatformContact.getDisplayName ().   I guess you gave BlackBerry plan / BIS already on your account, otherwise you call carrier to turn that on and it your current problems with BBM7.

  If you already have this (BIS) on your account so you can try that to see if that helps. First of all on your home screen, go to Options > Application > delete BlackBerry Messenger in the list

  For any thumbnail, you can see the pixel dimensions displayed. Click on the image below. Choose your preferences by going to the menu:

  View > View Options

  If you have the keywording Panel open on the right you can see the keywords for any selected image.
