  I want to ask whether it is possible to use a software energy saving with my Satellite L10-102 model?

  I tried software standby of an A55-S306 power but the software checked first is the appropriate model or not and then also failed.
  Where can I find the software of standby power for my laptop? If I can't find so why the other models, but L10 didn't Eve software power?

  You re right. This unit has been delivered without the Toshiba power saver. It uses Microsoft Windows power options.
  I put t know why the energy saver is not designed for this device, but as far as I know it s not possible to use another energy saving that was not designed for this device.
  This software cancels the installation procedure.

  I'm looking for a replacement battery for my Satellite L10, bought in September ' 05. Not the battery. is PA3420U-1BRS, 14, 4V Li-ion 4300mAh and I can't find an exact replacement on this site under the Accessories heading.

  This battery has been replaced by another with a similar number of the part?

  Just google for this number of battery, and I am sure you will find some dealers in your area. You can also search PABAS059, PA3420U-1BRS, PA3420U-1BAS, PA3420U-1BAC and PA3450U-1BRS, these are the same types.

  The Bios is Phoenix V1.60 dated 21/12/04.
  There is a new Bios (v2.80 - WIN dated 07/08/07) available on the Toshiba web site.
  What's new in this version?
  Allows to start on an external hard drive or usb key?

  Is it recommended to install updates if all works well on the computer?

  If everything works you don't need new BIOS. Be happy with good running operating system.

  If you want to boot from the external HARD drive to use the other operating system, it won't work.

  I suggest that you use Google for the drum part number itself rather than for the computer laptop model number. Given that many laptops share the type of battery, you may well find a compatible battery listed under a different model of laptop.

• Need drivers for Satellite L10 wireless

  I just reinstalled my laptop with Windows XP Edition L10 pro family. I do not have the master Toshiba Driver installation disk so I downloaded them all Toshiba site.

  I can't install the driver for the wireless network card (it is said Foxconn T60N871 802 11/b/g) which was told is InPRO Comm IPN 2220 Wireless card.

  I tried all the drivers and nothing seems to work. This is a new installation of Windows XP with a genuine license key.
  The switch on the front lights for the wireless, but no wirless card does appear in the DEVICES MANAGER, NIC just unknown (yellow).

  Can someone direct me to the CORRECT driver?

• Satellite L10 - could not get the wireless operation

  I reformatted my Satellite L10 and managed to pull the best of drivers to use, but I can't seem to get the wireless working.

  I installed the Realtek driver http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads

  I also tried to install the InProComm driver, but the installer crashes just after a while.

  Anyone know what could be the problem? All solutions?

  I checked Toshiba driver download page and looked for the driver for Satellite L10. Here, I can only find a driver Intel WLAN for Vista and the driver InProComm for XP but I can t find a Realtek WLAN driver.
  It seems that your laptop is equipped with an Intel card check so the Toshiba site again:

  Before you install the driver WLAN make sure that WIFI is turned on with the hardware switch on the computer laptop and FN + F8.

• Satellite L10 - Hotkey.exe error after booting Windows 2000

  I've installed Windows 2000 on my Satellite L10 rather
  XP. After installing the utility Hotkey-I get an Error Message at every boot:

  Hotkey.exe - Entry Point not found
  The procedure entry point WTSUnRegisterSessionNotification could not be loaded into the WTSAPI32.dll dynamic link library.

  Same error Message When you try to manually start the Hotkey.exe.

  How can I solve this problem? The system works, but the
  Keys not.

  P.S.: As I read on the web, this error has nothing to do with the missing operating system XP - maybe the HotKey software does not work with Windows 2000. Where can I get a Hotkey software work for Windows 2000 for Satellite L10?
  I try to find it on the download from Toshiba site, but there is that some drivers for the L10 on Toshiba.com and the European server are only readers for XP :(
