  I recently my elitebook revolution 810 (Gen1) upgrade Windows 8.1. Because the power supply fan continues blowing most of the time I have also upgraded to the latest version of the bios (f47). Now I have more features of the tablet on the device. This means that (when the screen is shot in the style of the Tablet) keyboard on screen no longer appears and the screen turns is more.

• revolve 810 will not in tablet mode

  I have a HP revolve 810 G1 which won't in tablet mode.   Someone at - it ideas why this would be or if it's just a setting that should be adjusted?

  Thanks for your reply, but the problem seems to be updates BIOS F.47 day & 8.1 of Windows that have been installed.  I found some messages from users having the same problem and when I went down the BIOS to version F.44, when everything started to work.  I hope HP fixes this problem with the next update of the BIOS.

  Revolve 810 G2 / Windows 8.1, all updates (Microsoft and HP) are carried out.

  Pen is not recognized. I can't find any driver associated with feather on the HP page turning G2.

  What I've read, the Pen 'pen tablet HP Executive R1' reference must match a G1 not turn a G2.

  Is this correct?

  Although this pen would work with a G2 810 or pen is dead on arrival, or a driver issue?

  I read a lot about the customers disappointed on the pen of the revolution, when they compare themselves to the generation 2740.

  G2 solved this?

  The only drivers on the site of Cannon for Windows 7 and Windows Vista are all the 32 bits that won't work on your 64-bit Windows computer.

  The printer was not displayed when I searched using Add printer in Control Panel-> devices and printers.

  If I were you, I would contact Canon directly for advice and if it's not compatible, consider buying a new printer. 3 third-party drivers can be an option, but there are always problems of quality and safety so, personally, I never use them.

  Hi, I intend to do Bootcamp on my Mac. I will be installing Windows 7. Before going further, I would like to know if all my Windows drivers will be installed, as they are the last thing I want to worry.

  Windows drivers are installed in two phases. The generic drivers are installed everything first. Apple-specific drivers are installed using the USB flash drive you will create/download help Wizard of BC.

  I use a GPIB-USB-HS USB GPIB adapter for laboratory automation and need to install drivers for devices on a certain number of the PC lab.  All I need are windows drivers and eventually DLL managed, although I would rather deploy DLLs and my applications.  All my software automation runs on the CLR and not of labview.

  My question:

  How can I get only the drivers for this device?  The only download that I can find on NI.com ( http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2129/lang/en ) installs almost 400 MB of software which should really go on my lab PCs.  In addition, the size of the package makes deployment and maintenance a bit unmanageable to me.

  Hi Peter,.

  Unfortunately, there is currently no 'activity' version of the GPIB driver, so the link you provided is the right driver which should be installed on each computer that will run your GPIB software. Without having to install this driver, the GPIB-USB-HS will not be recognized by the client computers.

  Unless you write your own drivers for XP and using the Windows Driver Foundation Service to help you debug, you can disable the WDF Service.  It will be one less point to start your system and will not not just sitting there working day and night with nothing to do.

  On some systems, if WDF is activated, you can begin to see some errors of svchost.exe like this:

  Application error: the instruction at "0x7c91b21a" referenced memory at "0x00000010". Memory could not be "written".

  The best solution for this problem is: disable the WDF Service.

  I'm sure I can't be alone in having improved my G1 810 turn Windows 8.1.  However it is therefore more useful tablet as the rotation of the screen does not work.  The auto spin button does nothing and after an HP engineer swapped botht huh card system and the button they said that the only option is to return to Windows 8 (original shipping OS).

  Really, this isn't a usable solution when you want the new features of Windows 8.1 update.

  My G1 of 900 ElitePad works well on Windows 8.1.

  Can it really be difficult to get the drivers right and tested?

  decommissioning of the Bios to F.44 and auto-rotation should work again (for me it worked).

  I found this working solution myself, HP could not help me anyway.

  Be aware, that the Bios F.44 didn't put heat-settings update as F.47, so you'll have a noisy fan

  HP couldn't tell me when there will be updates of Bios or drivers updated.

  to ensure that automatic rotation is also running Windows 8.1.

  There is a BIOS update for the revolution by moving to version F.43 update allows to touch the power button while pushing the Windows button (left of the central hinge) to act as the Windows Security button. -It worked for me.

  I also read that by pressing [Ctrl], [Alt] left button right button + [Del] button on-screen keyboard works but I have not tried.
