  The green light on my HP Deskjet 3845 printer continues to blink.  Whenever I try to print something, even a test page, the error message says "printer: open door."  However, I checked several times and there is no open door!

  Generally when this starts to happen, it is because the door sensor went out. There is only a reset you can do to try and clear the error and it is a hard reset. I will include the instructions below. If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer.

  To do a hard reset:
  1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
  3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
  4. wait for 30 seconds.
  5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

  Recently, I encountered some problems serious the printer. When my printer rolls turns, it produces a sound extremely hard. Reject, we continued using the printer. However, today, the rolls seemed rather slow and it seems as if it may malfunction at any time. True that, I couldn't print more things. When I opened the dorr of my printer to check, I noticed there wassome spill the ink shape. When I closed the door, I went to the control panel to check the status of my printer. It says "open door, a single document in the queue" when I already closed the door.

  I checked all the solutions to the error 'Door open' and tried without success. What follows is not a pretty solution but has worked for over 2 years.

  The hinge on the machine out of alignment (usually after more enthusiastic opening to replace ink cartridges) and the cartridge door will not close properly leaving the switch to slightly elevated detection.  This generates the error message 'Door open' and the machine will not work.  Look for the sensor suspended - see pp 96 left corner http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00633922.  The band down with masking tape.  The error message will and function printer/fax/scanner normally.

  There is a little further on the printer, but in general a way to message 'open-door 'access door' is not closed properly (or the sensor/switch is always triggered). The access door is the entire scanner, you lift to access the print cartridges. Try to open it upwards and close.

  Try to restart the print spooler service. Please try the instructions below.

  1. click on start

  2. click on run

  3 type "services.msc" (without the quotes)

  4. in the local Services window that opens, locate the print spooler

  5. Once you have found, just right-click on it and select Properties.

  6. restart the service.

  7. you may need to restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

  I found where the sensor is on the D110 Photosmart which tells the printer when opening the ink access door.  Open the door at the front of the printer and on the left side by the little words 'Wireless', you will see two 'bumps' with a small button between these two grooves.  This small lever creates a semicircle lever action.  When I pushed him all the way, the error disappears, and the ink is turned down in its task.  You can try pushing this little button in the printer and maybe same band back if it is not broken.  My hypothesis is that this little button is far enough in the printer to cause the message go away.

  I had a strange problem with the last device Orchestrator:

  Sign-ON the value in the device, I can see the vCO server in the web client, can start the flow of work, all good. But when I try to change a worklof access rights in the vCO client, I open the switch, push enter the filter field or a substring to find a group, but the selector only say loading and is never showing all groups.

  So, I tried to set the AD authentication. Now, I can see my ad groups in the selector window. But I can no longer see the vCO server in the web client and see not all workflows.

  I checked the site configuration vCO, my user is part of the group admin vCO. I also checked the registration of the Oct on the vCenter server. I can see the extension of vCO beeing is properly registered in the CROWD.

  Also workflows are running and are able to run on the vCenter server. I just do not see and cannot run from the vSphere client.

  If anyone has any idea why

  (a) I see no groups in the access rights selector add when SSO authentication? It worked only once in the past

  or

  (b) why I can't see the vCO server and workflow in the web client even if my user is part of the group admin vco?

  Which SSO/vCO/Web Client versions/versions do you use?

  I remember there were bugs related to the AD Setup mode of windows authentication integrated (supposed to be fixed at some point). You can try to add your ad as a type of Server LDAP identity source just to check if the groups will appear in the user interface?

  This may occur if the print spooler requires other services, and these services are not running. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
   
  1. in Services, right-click on print spooler and then click Properties.
  
  2. click the Dependencies tab. The first box list all system services that must work for the print spooler start. These are dependencies.
  
  3 make a note of each service, click OK, and restart each service on which the print spooler is dependent, if the service is not already started. If a service is not started, right-click, click Properties, and then make sure that the startup type is automatic.
