I hope someone can help me. You just bought a new Pro L450D of Satellite and also bought a screen separate LCD (Viewsonic) to use with the laptop.

When you use the lcd screen there are a slight ripple effect on the bottom when you look at the screen that is not pleasing to the eyes. This is not the screen that has a problem, as I have tried on other portable PCs and its fine. Have also tried another screen on the laptop and the same problem occurs. However, this problem does not the screen of the laptop itself.

Anyone have an idea how I can solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Hi Ndev,

Have you tried another cable for your external monitor and what (cable) connection you use exactly?

Are you running the factory settings or you have installed your own OS?

First of all, I would recommend updating the display driver and BIOS. The two you can download on the Toshiba site.

  • Re: Satellite A200 - 1 GB - strange ripples on the external LCD

    H,

When I try to connect my laptop to my Samsung 32 "LCD with VGA, I have strange ripples on the screen.
I tried to change any settings in my computer and my TV and it's still there.

    How can I fix?
It is almost impossible to look like that.

    Thank you.

Have you tested the laptop with other external monitors?
You should do this to make sure that it is not a matter of LCD

I also recommend checking if those ripples are visible using different screen resolutions!

Last but not least an update of the graphics card driver would also be useful.

  • 15 - ax004na: brief ripple effect on the screen - Misty

    Hello

Initially, noticed that when returning in the Office of my browser, it is a ripple effect very briefly on the screen. It looks like an interference more than anything else that's not office real ripple, its more about the top of the image; foggy lines. I turned off the wireless mouse in case it was there. haven't tried the wifi yet - Im hoping that its not something serious involving the graphics card.

More noticeable on light background colors even when jumping to a new tab, moving between applications.

Wonder if theres a problem with the screen or simply a display configuration I can change to try to prevent this.

New laptop, only a few weeks.

    Graphics card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950 M (2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory)

    Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the HP Forums, it's a great place to get help, find answers and advice,
Thanks for posting your request, I'll be more than happy to help you

If I understand correctly, the screen is blurred lines and gets an effect of brief training at certain times,

I recommend that you check whether the same appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and press F10 to access BIOS)

This would confirm if it is a hardware failure or a problem with the graphics card drivers... so we can reinstall and update drivers to resolve the problem.

If the problem persists on the BIOS as well, please try with another monitor/TV to identify if it's the LCD or the mother/video card failure,

I would appreciate it if you could try the above steps and let me know so that I can help further.

    Kind regards

  • SMU-4304 causing the ripple on the input signal?

I have an SMU-1082 chassis that contains a high-6341 and a PXI-4304 module.  To check my code, I have connected the analog input (channel 0) of the 4304 to the digital output (PFI 12) of the 6341.  My program VI shows a ripple of Vpp 0.2 on the analog input that I'm not using a scope.

    The wiring is SMU-6341 [12 PFI, DGND]-> SCB - 68 a,--> TB-4304 [AI0 +, -]-> SMU-4304

I have attached photos of the verses reach the graphical VI.  The scope is the AI0 + AI0-terminals and the TB-4304.

Y at - it a supplement on the ground that I should use, or is - this normal for the-4304 to add the ripple?

    Thank you

    Ron

Short answer, is that there is nothing wrong with what you see.

You have connected a digital output signal low impedance to a digitizer analog high input impedance. Since a digital signal is essentially a square of variable in time wave and square wave have edges of transition that contain information of very high frequency, you will almost always see a form of "ripple" (see animation synthesis of fourier of a signal square from this Wikipedia page ). Thus, a digital output signal is more concerned with the synchronization and the upgrade to be a square wave perfect.

In addition, you can see additional "ripple" because of differences between the SMU-4304 and the noculars that you have demonstrated. the noculars can be a combination of a bandwidth of upper entrance (which can come from various sources like low sampling frequency on the 4304 which would result in a higher frequency of information recorded by the noculars for smoother transitions to research) and, possibly, a lower input impedance (causing less, if any, the reflection of signal which would cause the ringing of the signal).

  • Monitor question: is constant ripple read something difficult - if this isn't a problem with my graphics card, what else could he be >

It is difficult to describe. I run XP and later that yesterday to fuel my system, I noticed that the monitor was something different for the first time - the perifrial on my hp2011x monitor field had developed these mirco-wave that makes viewing anything a bit difficult. Thinking that it was temporary, I just moved everything I was working on the center of the screen - which remained essentially stable. After having finished up last night, I turned off.

Today, however, it's another story. Now, the whole screen was made in such a way that everything is now visually corrugated - which seems that ripples are moving up and down in a horizontal jet across the entire screen. And this annoying effect is much more important, making it difficult for the eye to read anything for a long time.

What could be the problem here?
Thinking it might be a problem of monitor, I borrowed a friends monitor - exactly like mine, but the effect continues.
If not, a sign that the graphics card is out, what else could be the problem?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

You think that this problem could be related to the graphics card.

Method 1: You can see the steps mentioned in the article below

Resources for troubleshooting problems in Windows XP
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/307960

Method 2: Start your computer in VGA mode, then check if the display problem persists. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the link below

Activate the Mode of VGA (Video Graphics Array)
    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_overview.mspx?mfr=true

If the problem persists, you can communicate with the computer or the adpater manufacturer to address this display problem.

    Update video drivers. Bring:

    1. site of the device mftr. ; OR
    2. site of the card mother mftr. If the material is on board; OR
    3. website of the OEM manufacturer for your specific machine if you have a PC OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the Web site where you get the drivers.

To find out what hardware is in your computer:

    1. read all documentation that you got when you purchased the computer.
    2. If the computer is OEM, access the site Web of the OEM for your specific model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway)
    3. download, install and run a program of inventory of the free system like Belarc Advisor or System Information for Windows.

  • Ripple Build: [ERROR] Failed to run launching java.exe.

    Hello BB community

I have a problem with the Chrome Ripple 0.9.8 extension I could not find such an error in google.

When I click on the build, it shows error:

Oh, Snap! Build request failed with the message: [ERROR] failed to run java.exe launch.

and create the file .zip in the output folder

    I have Java 6, 7 and 7 installed SDK

The problem was that I moved manually SDK Webworks directory to another location.
the solution is to change the path to the bbwp.properties file in:
C:\...\BlackBerry SDK software WebWorks for Tablet 2.2.0.5\bbwp\bin

  • not able to package with ripple

    Hello

First timer with ripple to build the sample application, but not like before, as I expect

    Statement following https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/creating_a_bb10_app_2007539_11.html

After you have filled in the parameter fields > I don't see any button to build the package

When choosing 'Package' in the building waving Board does nothing.

    This is my environment:

    Windows7

Installed WebWorks. Ripple extensionfor Chrome installed and activated

I chose BB 10 WebWorks as platform of ripple

    Build > setting

    SDK path: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Research In Motion\BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK 1.0.1.8

Root C:\Users\Owner\Documents\WebWorks\blackberry-bbUI\samples (where is the config.xml file) of the project

Name of archive: Helloword (random name)

Outfielder: C:\Users\Owner\Documents\out (random, different from the project root folder)

    Closing settings

I can only see the package / package & sign / package and launch but no button "generate".

Statement said "if build and deploy services are not being run in the Build Panel, click on Start Services." and I do not see this option. Do I need to install something other than ripple plugin?

I'm not under any web server. Maybe the project needs to go to C:\Users\Owner\RippleSites? I don't know if it's necessary for a packaging application.

    Thank you!

Chrome WebStore version 0.9.7 has also this feature since the image was made from this version, but now it is also obsolete. Watching more closely to the page API HTML5 WebWorks for waving for installation instructions and download the latest ripple version 0.9.8.

Then, in Chrome, you'll have an icon like this:

When you load your page and click the icon it should open the 'mission control' emulator ripple said in the previous post.

  • Problem with emulator no config.xml file found in the root of the file .zip Blackberry 10 ripple

I just started development for blackberry 10. I had developed application in the native language. But with blackberry 10 I get "no config.xml file were found at the root of the .zip file" when I run my Hello World application on emulator of the ripple.

    Help is appreciated thanks.

Here what I got on emulator ripple

    Here's my Helloworld project structure

Your config.xml file is probably invalid.

Copy and paste it into this XML validator. http://www.w3schools.com/XML/xml_validator.asp

If there is a training error will not be able to correctly parse.

  • How to get the ripple working, config.xml is not found

Here a load of resources for getting started, but I just can't get anything to work as stated in the documentation, or the youtube video shows.

I have various things installed, NodeJS, JVM, BlackBerry WebWorks 2.0.0.71, ripple in Chrome.

To begin with when you use 'create cordova' layer of the project is different, cordova 3.4.0 I get:

    hooks /...

    mergers /...

    config. XML

    www/js /...

    www/img /...

    www/css /...

    www/index.html

But information to addresses such as https://developer.blackberry.com/bbos/html5/documentation/creating_hello_world.html don't show this provision.

I'm supprised when I open the config.xml file in Chrome that it does not detect the XML XSD and ripple offers to launch itself.  If I navigate to file:///C:/Users/Username/RippleSites/myproject/ www/index.html can activate ripple but she complains the file config.xml in lack.  Services of ripple Start' provides no clue as to any error and no TCP server listening on port 9910.

I guess BB10 doesn't work with a specific version of cordova, which uses a different type of layout of project that one 3.4.x uses.  How can I fix the environment to use the correct versions and also automatically prevent the upgrade within this environment?  Because I want to obviously NPM allows management version of the future module updates.

How C:\Users\Username\WebWorks Project\project interacts with the ripple need to use a specific home project directory as well?

See the Option #1 here for more information about enabling access to the local files for Chrome/ripple:
    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Web-and-WebWorks-development/solution-ripple-launch-is-INTERR...

That being said, the that training has been designed to be an emulator for the WebWorks 1.0 SDK, it relies on the features that have changed in WebWorks 2.0. For example, we leverage is no longer webworks.js, but cordova.js and webworksready changed to deviceready. In the end, there may be still some differences in the APIs, if efforts have been made to minimize any impact as he.

BlackBerry 10 works with Cordova 3.1.0 and above (it may have been a few versions ago, but I don't remember exactly). Stay up to date with Cordova and use the latest version through the Museum is my personal recommendation.

Note that if you use Cordova, you also need to install the NDK BlackBerry properly configure your environment variables.

Note that the link to the above documentation referred BBOS, which is the platform of the inheritance (BBOS 5, 6, 7). BlackBerry 10 documentation can be found here:
    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/V2_0/

The www folder is root of your project that will contain all the files of HTML5. The other files are related to Cordoba and used for packing and manage your application is built.

  • Made on emulator ripple 9860 and real device 9860 user interface is different for blackberry OS 7.0

    Hi all

I have developed a hybrid application that works fine on Android for almost all the resolutioh which I have supported.

For blackberry, I am building and pacakging an application using the ant tool. During the installation of file .cod devive 9860 having OS 7.0, landing page UI get distorted. Running on the ripple 9860 device, UI reneders correctly.

Please clarify that ripple is to check the user interface on differnet devive resolution or just for the pacaging and building application.

    Thanks in advance

Usually the user interface between ripple and a device will be, although there may be small differences. Remember that the unit is running the BlackBerry WebKit application on an ARM architecture, while the ripple uses the implementation of WebKit in Chrome on an architexture that corresponds to your operating system. While the bot Webkit implementations, there may be differences in the way they make; all the more up-to-date the implementation on OS 7.0, your implementation of desktop browser is likely.

That being said, there is not usually very big differences; specifically, you mentioned the word distorted. Could you provide a comparison of the screenshot of what you're talking about?

In most cases, ripple should provide solid representation, but is always recommended to test on a simulator/device.

  • Ripple deploy congestive alpha dev BB10 881

I am trying to deploy a webworks a dev peripheral alpha using ripple.

The device has an installed debugging token.  The config.xml file has a tag with my author name, which is the same name used to register for the debugging token.

When I click on package and start a ripple, I can see that the ripple-service window displays a warning:

[WARNING] Cannot find the debugging token

The bar file is created successfully, but when he tries to launch the device she ends with the error:

result::failure 881 the application author does not match the author token of debugging

I placed the debugtoken.bar in the folder SDK Webworks BB10 so I'm not clear why it would give this warning.  Since the tag of the author in the config.xml file is the same name of the debugging token I can only imagine that error pops up because there is simply not to see the debugging token at all.

I tried to remove and by redeploying the token of debugging on the device, but without success.

    Any suggestion would be great.

In case someone else runs into him, I'll answer my own question.

I finally register new signature keys see if I did something wrong.  When I ran blackberry-sign-register I got an error on the key already registered.  It turns out that this computer already had key registered to this topic.
