My pro iPad connects to the WIFI, but loses connectivity to drops in use.  My other IOS devices (iPhone, macbook, etc.) do not have this problem.  Ideas to solve?

    Hello BrooklynWM!

I definitely want my iPad to stay connected to the Wi - Fi connection while I use it.  Thanks for posting that other iOS and OS X devices have no problem with the connectivity dropping.  We can try a few things.

Would first go through the steps listed in this article: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi - Apple Support Network

Then if it does not help, you can check network settings with this: recommended for the WiFi routers and access - points Apple supported

After trying those, if you still see the drop connectivity, make sure the iPad Pro is updated with iOS 9.3.2 and check to see if the connection when you are in a certain place, time, or one event happening elsewhere in the House.

    Best regards.

  • Can we listen to the audio via Bluetooth speaker and Speaker Pro iPad at the same time?

IVe tried to find answer to this. Hope someone can help. I would like to get more power audio audio stream in my Bluetooth speakers without losing my Pro iPad speaker.

It's a sound source or the other, not both.

If your Bluetooth speaker is not powerful enough, buy a more powerful.

    Good luck!

    Hello Varshil07,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message, by updating your Mac you have forced stop, or you have closed the lid, and now it does not start.  To start, I suggest that try you to start in safe mode by following the instructions below.  For later use, it's a good idea to not force the computer to shut down or close the lid while it is up to date, because it can cause problems.

    1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

    2. After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

    3. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.

You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

    4. Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

To exit safe mode, restart your Mac, but no press during the startup.

OS X El Capitan: start in safe mode

    Have a good.

Hello! Pro iPad comes with a specific set of fonts in Keynote? Or is it possible ad fonts, for example with the font book?

This is a list of the fonts installed in iOS 7, as far as I know, it has not changed for iOS 9.

iOS 7: List fonts - Apple Support

Fonts are embedded in the iOS, a few Apps will bring new fonts when loading the application. Keynote will use those that are pre-loaded with iOS. There are third-party fonts that can be installed, but you will need to check that they are working with the speech of the seller of these fonts.

You have one of the accessibility features enabled. Go to settings > General > accessibility and Zoom 'off' (the icon you see is the 'Show' controller on screen Zoom settings) - and check what accessibility shortcuts (a triple-click of the home button) is defined in the lower part of the screen for accessibility

  • Mini IPad screen my daughter went black.

My daughter's iPad screen went black. Charged, nothing. Press Home and Power buttons at the same time for several attempts (10-30 seconds). Nothing. Connected to the computer and managed to restore/update, but the screen is still black. I couldn't see the process on the iPad, only on the computer. The only thing that the iPad does, is make ping sound indicating that it is fully charged. I unplugged the computer and tried buttons Home/Power for nothing doesn't. Any help is appreciated!

  • How to list all the users on the Windows 8 Pro welcome screen

I work for a small company based in the House of my boss of IT services. Because he runs the company, all the computers in the House are on a domain Active Directory (ease of management and control). Because he runs the company from his home, several of these computers are tablets/touch screens for his children, all upgraded to Windows 8 Pro.

Currently, the default behavior of Windows 8 at startup is to display the Welcome screen showing the last user who opened a session with an option to switch to another user. If "Other user" is selected, a complete login prompt appears requesting a user name and password. This is standard fair for Windows 8, especially on a domain.
He wants to do me is to find a way to allow a style of Windows XP (workgroup) Welcome screen displaying all the available avatars with user accounts, allowing so a child to click easily their user account and enter a picture password without ever seeing the on-screen keyboard.
To rephrase: we want the Windows 8 Pro welcome screen to list all the (or specific, if possible) allowing anyone of you users connect to the computer without entering a user name and only enter a password (or picture password).
I searched the web carefully and it seems that Microsoft can have deprecated this feature in an update of Windows 7 - many people shouting right lose their old welcome screen after an update. I read in the case of registry (removal of corrupt profiles and .default) hacks, security policy settings (interactive logon: do not display last user name = disabled), account policy (control userpasswords2 > uncheck: users must enter a password...) and a few other suggestions that had mixed results, which none apply to the present case , either because the settings are already in place, or because they are not available due to being on a domain.
I'm open to exploration of any kind of registry or 3rd party software hacks that can provide this functionality. Win8 default behavior is absolutely horrible for tablets - it should be easy for multiple users to connect to a device without using a screen keyboard to enter their username and password. WIN8 is halfway there with passwords of photo, but we still have to enter a user name for all, but the user recently.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jayce Nornin,

Please be informed that he has no option to list all the users on the Windows 8 Pro welcome screen.

It will be useful. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know. We will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

  • First Pro CC screen appearance

I am not satisfied with the appearance of the first Pro CC screen.  Settings / Appearance tab allows me to change the brightness of the dark background, but apparently nothing else.  Are there other options for screen appearance I'm missing?

    Nope, that's all.

  • Pro sticky screen iPad

Im not sure if it's just this ipad or if it's the new screen technology make, but the screen feels so sticky. Ive tried to clean it but its still the same, I get a small sense of chalk on white board whenever I scroll. I also bought the ipad pro to use wit the pencil, but after having used the pen for a few minutes, it seems that the screen becomes sticky in random places, leaving the very uneven pen slide on the screen. Help, please?

Try to use goo gone or windex on the glass, but be careful to not get it in ports. Or use a screen protector?

  • Create a Logitech Keyboard scratched my iPad screen pro

HI, I just bought a screen protector a few weeks after I had the iPad pro. I used to keep in the Logitech create keyboard cases without the protective screen. Yesterday when I was cleaning the screen to apply the screen protector, I noticed 1 line running across the top of my screen. So I tried to clean it up, but it won't come off. So I tried to gently remove the line with my fingernail, and then I felt little stretches along the line. I checked the closing of the show to see if the keyboard was the cause and the line is perfectly superimposed with the high dash of the page of the keyboard case. Anyone of you has happened?

    Thank you

    Andrea

I am attaching 2 photos, one you can see the line to the left of the keyboard under the screen and the other you can see what I mean by the indentations of the keyboard.

They don't seem like scratches. Have you tried before you wipe them off with a little water or a lens cleaning solution?

The indents of the keyboard are metal? Ideally, it would sort of fill in the keyboard.

  • Digitizer unusable iPad screen after 1 day!

Thursday, May 26, 2016, I dropped my iPad 3 (my old iPad) down. When I find a 3 for iPad use it as a security camera and a scanner (as in the grocery stores and shops) NFC, but as I left him there to find a case surrounding the iPad, but then my nephew (7 years since it's his 7th birthday) ran and he knocked the iPad down and the 2nd floor 3 He's accidentally fell on the 1st floor and cracked. I should have used my other 3 iPad or iPad 4 since I multiple (out of 10). Yesterday, I went to the Mall and I accidentally fixed in 3rd place of party (it cost $150), but I usually fix at Apple. I remembered that I went to the Mall lot (there no Apple store) and the Mall is also far too, but only the closest place, I'll Colrain to visit my uncle (60 years). After I fixed it, it works perfectly the first time, I fixed an iPad to a third party to see how good it is. Today, when I tried to turn on the iPad, he went from 90% to 0% (no charge) during the night. I then loaded and tried to use the iPad, but the screen is frozen, the LED or LCD is broken. Can I replace an iPad that has been fixed in part 3, or I cancelled the guarantee cannot set and had to buy a new iPad 2 Air or iPad Pro 256 GB Wi - Fi + cell phone as my scanner NFC?

The warranty is voided when the iPad was damaged.

  • Where can I find training Pro iPad videos

The tips & tricks books provided by Apple only truncated sho ideas on how to use the iPad but it does not help with training a little deeper themes, such as the use of the split effectively on iPad Pro screen. any help on getting better training in video...  Other than YouTube. There is one thing I really hate about Apple. Training is limited to "getting started", then of course Apple would like to SELL you more training.

You answered your own question, YouTube is the best source which is not paid. Sites like Lynda may have something, but they are subscription.

And, really, Apple is no different than any other tech company where they help you get started and then it is for the user to learn by themselves or acquire additional training from somewhere.

You can continue to ask questions here and see what your fellow users have to offer assistance.
