  I just installed Windows 8 on my HDX 16 and soon I found the drivers for the network adapters are not installed by default.   I have a 6550 ProBook HP running Windows 10, I was installing drivers and managed to install everything except 3 devices (device Base system device Base system and unknown device). I got up on the site of HP support and noticed that they only have drivers for Windows 7, so that of not going to work. I installed a program that told me the devices that need drivers were 2 x ACPI supported and an AHCI device supported.   Through my errors and problems of clarity with MS support, I inadvertently redownloaded Windows Vista Home on my computer (MS tech sent me a Windows Vista disc given that HP has never provided one in my first computer purchase).  I have all the drivers. can't do on the internet.  The computer does NOT recognize the modem (D-link DCM 202) or router (D - Link WBR 1310).

  Officially, your computer does not support Windows 10 because it is an old model. Supported are only Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

  As mentioned above, you will not find the Toshiba drivers designed for Windows 2003 R2 server.
  But don t worry, and don t give up.
  Windows XP drivers must simply be compatible and you should be able to install the Xp drivers on the Win2003 Server operating system.

  Keep in mind, it's a software package and not a driver. Drivers are used to control communication with the hardware.
