  I can not all the functions of my Officejet 7500 has hade work. If I install the drivers from the disc that came with the printer, the printer works but the scanner app is not installed. If I download the newest driver on the website of H - p, the scanner app installs and works properly, but the printer does print not (printing just sitting in the gueue).

  Solved the problem myself. Original drivers installed, let HP Support Assistant installation updated, select "test scanner", how the application scan appeared. But there was still no icon for it on the desktop. Choose 'Properties', that display the path to the .exe file. Went there and select "create shortcut", and... He was the icon.

  It all started when I installed a drive root more and reinstalled WIN7 and all my applications and drivers from scratch. I say this because when I bought this printer and installed the drivers, the scanner icon is created automatically. Apparently the updated driver does not.

Then I reset passwords for each of them over the next few days and discovered that the new passwords do not work, or they would work during a day, and then the passwords would not work the next day. Even more confusing was the fact that one of the passwords from the original account has started working again, even after I had changed the password on it! I took the window of opportunity to apply online for assistance. I received a number of responses with PIN to grab, to a "windows live (hotmail) private forum." However, this process did not work for various reasons. Perhaps, for those three confused accounts password reset Microsoft System for account recovery. But the resets a lot were the result of having none of the passwords work, even after reset. I took the last email I received from Microsoft, clicked on the link to access the page where I could enter the PIN, to take on the private forum. The screen said that the email "was no longer valid," even if I replied to the email within 24 hours (I think...) I have entered my PIN anyway and arrived at a page that directed me to "private forum", only it was no 'private' forum, or is it possible to get it to him. There was no sense and no link to access. If I can't navigate to a "private hotmail forum" to get a response to my email; and if the technicians e-mail can't me and doesn't work when it is not, how to solve the lock-out of e-mail? A cat live would be the best solution. I understand that pay for MSN email comes with live phone support, but I have not yet registered for this service. Yes, there is a live chat page that can help with the problem of hotmail? Is there a way that I can read a specific answer to my specific problem? I still have to find an answer to this question. And finally, the fact that SOMETHING is put out that my Security Essentials at random times doesn't help. Security Essentials scans aren't picking up any viruses. However, this problem is recurring and has been for about the last two months. Even MS technicians checked the system configuration settings to ensure that engaged, and it is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Today, I have not checked remaining two hotmail accounts that appear to have been recovered. So, maybe I can receive e-mail from MS in my hotmail alternate accounts. However, the main account which I use only for correspondence of Microsoft, is still inaccessible and probably still not guaranteed. Advice appreciated.

• Confused about card video card

  I am shopping for a XPS 8500 - and was confused because the specifications of the video card on the Dell site match the specifications for the same card - not brand and model I see elsewhere - the Dell card is better. I tried the Dell chat but only got more confused-, so I thought someone in the forum might be able to give me an idea.

  You are so right.  You don't find these versions at retail.  The GT 640 DDR5 has much better overall than the DDR3 version specifications (i.e. If Dell does not change the map clock speeds) and there are 2GB versions very few HD 7770.  I do not change the clock speeds would be needed on the GT 640, however.  It really does not use a lot of power at all.  Obviously, $50 is a good buy on the GT 640.  You can get the HD 7770 for as little as $100 for the cost of $150 upgrade is not as good, even if it has 2 GB of memory.

  I have a problem I have been struggling with for several months now. I do not know what is happening and am puzzled because. I will describe what is happening as well as I can and expect an answer.

  Most certainly. The cost of a new motherboard is going to be at least $ 250 for you and this is simply too much to spend for a repair. Your parents may think differently. A new motherboard is about $150 online (not of HP they charge more than double that) and labor is about $ 100 to $ 150. • Confused about vsphere 5 certification exams.

  OK, I have zero qualities vmware and did so without prior training. But after loading a copy test for my home server. I really love vpshere and want to learn more. But information provided by different sources are very confusing.

  Said I want to be a vsphere 5 professionals. So I looked that up, but it does not exist on this site (vcp510) there is that both DT and DV.

  But the versions of the DT and DV still have a prereq for VCPS certification which I don't see.

  So I checked view pearson. To see what tests they had. They don't have the review of the vcp510 and the vcp510-dt. But not the DV version.

  What makes it even more confusing, is that when I was watching the CBT nuggets videos training. He said that I had to do a VMware View: install, configure, manage [version 5.0] course. But he says that's not necessary with vcp510-dt/dv.

• Confusion of the snapshot

  I understand how they work and less intuitive when informational messages to only snapshots, fusion or restoration.

  I have a request for what looks like regular snapshots for a customer. Holding multiple snapshots on a machine virtual is something I've avoided, but it seems I won't have the choice.

  (1) I am a little confused about to collapse a large tree of snapshots. Let's say you have 5 (Snap-A, B-Snap, Snap-C, D-Snap and Snap-E).

  (2) if I remove everything 1 snapshot, it is merged to its immediate parent correct? If I remove all what they all are merged back (probably in the order of most recent to oldest).

  Restoration (3) seems more confused. If I return to Snap-C, my hypothesis is that D-Snap and Snap-E becomes irrelevant. What is confusing, it's that they stay still. Then you must remove separately. Is there a reason they stay. I don't see how snapshots downstream can be used once you have returned to a parent?

  (4) Finally, in addition to disk space problems, are there any other questions or guidelines when you create multiple snapshots for a virtual computer as one best practtice ceiling etc.

  I think you are right on the functioning of the snapshots. But the real change of file is represented by 'you are here '.

  After what I wrote previously, I did a few tests with snapshots. And it is possible to build a tree of snapshots. As:

  A usecase might be that you want to test with two different versions of the same software, you can't move in together. Then, you can create a snapshot without the software, a snapshot with version 1 and another cliché with version 2 of the software. With the Snapshot Manager, you can easily change between different versions.

  In the book of Scott Lowe Mastering VMware vSphere 4 page 348 and 349 of the disadvantages of the snapshots are mentioned, I will summarize here:

  1 snapshots may consume a lot of disk space

  2. the snapshots are bad for the performance of your drive.

  3. If drives delta must grow, Lun will be locked, which is bad for the performance of the other virtual machines using the same LUN.

  4. virtual machines with a snapshot cannot use VMware Fault Tolerance.

• Custom properties are not displayed on the data portal

  In my version of return of DIAdem (2011), there are features to display personalized data portal properties.   In fact, this feature has been removed.  R & D wanted caused more confusion than benefit, and I agree.  I'm sorry for you and others who liked the feature that has now disappeared.  When tiara 9.0 released custom in the data portal properties shows their data types, but this feature has been removed in favour of simplicity.  I often miss this feature, but it's for the greater good.

  A 500 error usually means that an error has occurred during the call to a url of web server side, but if you notice that you can call the IO through SOAP-ui, then it is a little more confusing.

  Something must return the error 500 in the OPA, is an error generated by the server.

  I suggest that checking the siebel data file - adapt .properties and verify that the URL, the user name and the password are what you expect them to be. If this doesn't seem to be a problem, you really need to capture the response back to the OPA, if all goes well, it will give you more information on whats happening.

• Share permissions are not applied to new files in a shared folder

  I'm trying to share videos from computer to Tablet. I prefer to use anonymous access, so I turned off password protected sharing in network and sharing Center. Then I shared the video folder with everyone and give them read-only permission. I provided by the security that my user account is the owner of this folder. It worked, I could access my files on the tablet. But then in that case. I created my bittorrent client to put the downloaded files to this folder shared and discovered that I do not see these files to the tablet. It turned out that this read-only permission has not been applied to new files in the folder. The parent folder itself and all of its subfolders, all files that were there at the time wherever I shared it had permission, while the files added after that didn't share. More confusing is the fact that when * I * create a new file in the folder, he * gets * share permissions, but not these files settled by utorrent.
  For the moment the only way to do this I have bypass see is to re - apply manually share for each new file permissions in the folder whenever he appears here, which I find extremely frustrating. So I thought I could use some help.

  I did some research and I think I have located the problem: the root folder's NTFS permissions are not inherited by these new files. When I "Replace all permissions of child object with permissions inheritable from this object" security-> Advanced dialog permissions applied as well as NTFS share permissions. But then again, I have to do this everytime manually, which is annoying. So, what could be the cause of it?

• Curious behavior on initialization of the property

  Creating a custom component I stumbled upon a question that I did not quite understand. Trying to understand with an example from Hello world, I got more confused...

  Definition of a control with a simple text property, CSS file defining the skin and the implementation of the skin. I tried to put a listener of changes on my control's text property in the constructor of the skin.

  When you create a sample test to create a control and by then setting the text, I was expecting the changes listener to be called. More importantly, when to print the value of the property, it still shows the initial empty string even though its value has clearly changed.

  I use Java 8 on Linux Mint Debian Edition.

  Of course, this means that to get the original value of the control in the text of labels property change listener will not be triggered. Instead, the value must be set by hand.

• New installation of ESX 4.1 U1 - unable to connect

  I just install ESX 4.1 - 1 on a new IBM HS22 Server Update. The first thing I did was to try to connect the host ESX to vCenter (also 4.1 Update 1), but I get the following error message.

  Cannot complete the connection due to an incorrect user name or password.

  Call 'Datacenter.QueryConnectionInfo' to object "My Datacenter" on vCenter Server 'vCenter Server Name' failed.

  So I think that then I check the information of identification/connection and connect directly to the host via vSphere Client, I get the following error.

  Cannot complete the connection due to an incorrect user name or password.

  I am a little confused at this point, so I try to connect via the console and STILL unable to connect,

  VMware ESX 4.1 (Kandinsky)

  Kernal 2.6.18 - 194.ESX on a x86_64

  esx13 login: root

  Password:

  Incorrect login

  Login:

  Then, even more confused at this point, I decided to reinstall ESX just incase I got the wrong password. I get the same thing! I tried to type the password as the username just to see clearly and to be sure, it's passing the correct letters, that is.

  I installed the ESX 4 and 4.1 of ISO before and never had any problems, but it's the first time I get 4.1 ISO U1.

  Does anyone have any suggestions? I am quite perplexed!

• Windows 7 Image Restore

  I've been chasing a problem for these last days regarding the restoration of an image of Windows 7 on a new virtual machine.  On the premise that the backups are useless to test, I have saved my win7 vm, created a new machine virtual and then restored to this virtual machine.  I tested with the native speakers 2011 and win7 image backup software - the results were the same in both cases.  I saved a computer virtual scsi based and restored on a new scsi disk.  All went well until the moment where I wanted to start the new machine.  Windows has booted and started to load... and then a bsod appeared with an error code indicating a configuration error.  Wisdom on the net that boiled down to reinstall; in the case of recover my sustained by machine that was unnecessary (this was the result if I used the backup of win7 or speakers).  Watch the boot process it appeared that the error has occurred while loading classpnp.sys - some rooting reveal that this phenomenon was linked to scsi drivers.  So I changed the disc restored to ide, attached to the new virtual machine and hop ws all right.  I am more confused I did a fresh install of windows on another virtual machine, backed up and restored and it worked well.

  The bottom line here is that I supported a working, reliable scsi based virtual machine and cannot restore it unless I used a vm based ide.  On the positive side, my backups are OK and can be restored.  But that leaves the question of why cannot restore to a new virtual machine based scsi?  Also has anyone seen this behavior?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  You obviously did not read the link I gave in my last post.

  On Windows 7 fixing bluescreens 7B is super-easy - especially when the drivers are already included as in this case.
  Win7 has intelide, free and lsi - sas on board.
  All you have to do is set the START value to 0 in... HKLM\System\ControlSet001\services\LSI_SAS
  or the equivalent key for free and IntelIDE

  all your stunts with the addition of controller, startup of the IDE is a waste of time - you have no need that

• Embed YT vid in the sensitive layout?

  It's my first stab at responsive Web design call so I went with a model. Refinement of the model is (more), but I can't get YouTube videos to incorporate.

  ' ' I did a search on these forums using "root a video' and ' HTML5 video" (the latter was more confusing). I looked this way w3schools site.  I also saw the link of Nancy to the pickle player, but do I really only for the coating of a YT vid?  I use CS5 and sure enough it's non-nuage since DW keeps invites me to upgrade.

  EDIT: The main problem is the position of the end of the opening tag support. You need to move it to the end of attributes (just after frameborder = "0").
