  I just played a little and found a method, but it is not really intuitive. Select the object, then go to the rotation tool. The center of rotation must be defined as one of the handles of transformation, but you can drag it anywhere you like, then move until you want as the center of your mirror. Hold down the Opt/Alt key and click on the button to create a mirrored copy. The objects original reflects their position around the reference repositioned without the modifier key.

  I use Acrobat 8 Professional and I am sure that in the past, when I printed out the PDF documents, the printing layout would change to match the layout of the document.

  In other words, if the document was the landscape, it would be automatically print as landscape. Ditto for the portrait.

  Currently my default print layout is portrait, so if I have a landscape document and forgot to tell it to print landscapet, she displays only data visible on a portrait page layout. Driving me crazy!

  Similar situation with my father.  He did not know that it turned on syncing iCloud and after disabled it, discovered that his office was empty (the Documents probably too, but it wasn't in the concerned e-mail message, I received this morning).

  This seems to be the opposite of what one should expect; When turning off this feature, you should be at least the option to restore your files in the desktop and Documents folders.

  I do "remote support" for an octogenarian who is not very comfortable to make changes to his computer.  If all goes well, there is a simple solution that I can talk to him through.

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple! You do not have something wrong; the behavior you describe is correct and expected. When you disable the option of office and Documents, files are stored in iCloud drive. You can then move them to another location on your Mac if you want.   It's a question of how the recipients e-mail programs deal with attachments.
