rotating filling knife

Hello (or whatever the hour, it's at your place)

I want to display the data I get a 3 - axis acceleration sensor. I want to display 3 values on 3 blade of filling. Is it possible to rotate a fill of 45 ° slide?

If Yes: how?

Any help is appreciated

Hi Jak888,

How about this?

Kind regards

  • How "Rotate & fill" in CS5?

    Hello!

    I received some emails from Adobe based regularly with tips & tricks how to use different features of Photoshop CS5.

    It's "The Russell Brown Show," and in one episode he shows something, I could have great utility.

    It's "Content Aware Fill".

    Now after 45 seconds into this video, HTLVF http://tv.adobe.com/watch/photoshop-cs5-feature-tour/content-aware-fill-part-1?trackingid=

    He uses 'turn and complete '. It is under the tab "layers" on the right side of the screen. Watch the video, please.

    But I do not find this option and don't know how to create it.

    Can you please give me an easy description how do I get that option?

    It's a layer that he named "turn and fill", not a sign with a selection of the tool.  You can name the layers that you want in the layers panel.  Yours could be named layer 0 by default.  If it is called background, double-click it, and the ability to name all you want when you do it in a complete layer you will be offered.

  • Text fill or use a clipping mask, then using the knife tool

    Hey, new to the forum here, and I have a problem...

    I'm scanning my notes for a course in Earth science, and I use Illustrator CS5.

    I'm trying to do a simple text effect that leaves me perplexed.

    The text says "Earthquakes" (indeed, 24pt.)

    I like the texture of the text with a picture of sandstone.  I can do this.

    I would like in conjunction with the text in two with the knife tool.  I can do that, too.

    I can't for the life of me, what to cut the text in two after applying the clipping mask.

    No can I apply the texture (via a clipping mask) after having cut the text in two.

    I tried all kinds of different combinations, including doing some work in Photoshop, and still nothing works.

    I tried to create a plan (apparently essential to use the knife on the text tool), cut the text in two and then make the clipping mask, but that only gives me letters, invisible, which I can't seem to fill with the appropriate image.

    Anyone out there have any ideas?

    In the case where it is not clear, I want my text to be filled by a picture, then I would cut half in text (I prefer to use the knife tool, as it looks better with a curved cut)

    It's as simple as that, but I could not fall on a solution on my own.

    On a side note, I also spent on some tutorials for 'cutting text' is to draw a line through it, and then using fracture in the Pathfinder palette, but this guard send me errors.  Thoughts?

    First of all, there is no need to use a clipping for texture mask. Drag the photo in the "Swatches" Panel and then use the texture sample resulting to fill the text! Then, drag the text object texture in the symbols Panel. Now you can drag the 2 instances of the new symbol on the artboard and hide to create the look you are after. Using this method, your text remains editable and can be changed by editing the symbol.

  • rotation over time

    Hi all: about rotation tweek - I imported a quicktime which consists of only a headshot. The actor bowed her head on the last two words and stayed there. I need to rotate a little more than a few seconds. How?

    You can apply a screenshot of that image with the head in the wrong position?

    Basically, you can hide the head, and then turn it... but you fill the "holes" below, then he write much about the real situation...

  • Backup drives off-site rotation and Vista

    I have automated backup set to run once a week on an external drive.  I have 2 drives external 1 TB identical.  I want to turn a drive off-site on a regular basis of the semi - once a month maybe.  When I turn a drive in, Vista will recognize such things it believes that it already saved is more on target and to fill all the changes since the last backup on the freshly turned disc?  Or Vista restarts with a full charge whenever I have one of the disks in rotation?  Both disks must have the same name of the drive or Vista will be ok with a drive name different than that currently attached to the system is always assigned the same drive letter?

    Hi Peter O FL

    Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

    As you have two external drives to save data, once you connect the first hard drive windows will check the last back up and doesn't save changes and refresh it and it's the same process with the other hard drive also.

  • Z10 blackBerry screen rotation... won't.

    The screen rotation. . an essential feature of the camera, video, browser, history-maker etc.  Mine do not rotate.  Never, at all.  So I can't use the camera entirely, the manufacturer of the story is beautiful, but useless since I can not get the correct format when I plug it into my TV HDMI, video may not fill the screen.  It remains resolutely in portrait mode no matter what I do. Software updates, full reset to factory etc. Nothing works... and Yes, before you ask, the rotation lock is not on.  Interestingly, this is my second Z10 and my problems have been material, not siftware.  One failed due to an unusable device, this one due to an apparent fault with the gyro thingy that detects orientation.  I could end up just like a user dedicated BB who don't question the Z10 in the box and goes up to his Bold 9790 (that I love).

    Finally solved with the help of the BB Support and a security wipe. Why it worked when all otherwise failed I have no idea but he did, but all sensors seem to work.

  • Unable to detect the rotation of the device of the method of sublayout of screen

    I'm developing an application compiled for OS 4.5. I need to find a way to detect the rotation of the unit and again fill the screen so that the fields are arranged according to the new dimensions.

    My idea was to save the display width and height in some private variables in my case screen and method of sublayout overloaded screen, check if the new values have been changed.

    What happens is that I get the old width and height again and again.

    I first read this post. In this document, @arkadyz points out how the order of the calls is a little weird and values returned by the view class are updated after sublayout is finished.  Therefore, there is no way to detect by the sublayout method.

    The proposed solution is to check the dimensions of the display within an invokeLater. Here's my test code:

    public class TestScreen extends MainScreen {

        public TestScreen(){
            super(Manager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL);
            populateScreem();
        }

        private void populatescreen(){
            deleteAll();
            //fields and containers added here. No need to add any to observe the issue.
        }

        public void sublayout(int width, int height){
            super.sublayout(width,height); //Tried calling this in the last line as well with identical result.

            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Display.getWidth(before): " + Display.getWidth());
            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Display.getOrientation(before): " + Display.getOrientation());
            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Width argument value (before): " + width);

            UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable(){
                public void run() {

                    System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Display.getWidth(later): " + Display.getWidth());
                    System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Display.getOrientation(later): " + Display.getOrientation());
                }
            }, 1000, false); //Playing with the time parameter does not change behavior.
        }
    }

    This gives exactly the same results. After that, I came to this post where @peter_strange

    provides a solution based on pushing a dummy screen, which detects the new width and height, and then passing the new values to the previous screen. I also tried, but it didn't work either.

    I also tried using the obsolete Graphics.getscreenWidth instead of Display.getWidth, and it did not work.

    Now, I am out of luck because I have almost tried everything and I can't provide a solution without resorting to the 4.7 or 6.0 API.

    Tested in BB 9550 Simulator v5.0.0.535 (Platform 2.13.0.108) and v5.0.0.306 real unit BB 9520 (Platform 4.2.0.113)

    Take a look at the following.  In my view, the following code can be used to detect changes in orientation.

    public class TestScreen extends MainScreen {

        int currentDisplayWidth = Display.getWidth();
        int currentDisplayOrientation = Display.getOrientation();

        public TestScreen(){
            super(Manager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL);
            populatescreen();
        }

        private void populatescreen(){
            deleteAll();
            //fields and containers added here. No need to add any to observe the issue.
        }

        public void sublayout(int width, int height){
            super.sublayout(width,height); //Tried calling this in the last line as well with identical result.

            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Current sublayout width (before): " + currentDisplayWidth);
            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Display.getWidth(before): " + Display.getWidth());
            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Display.getOrientation(before): " + Display.getOrientation());
            System.out.println(">>>>>>>>> Width argument value (before): " + width);
            if ( Display.getWidth() != currentDisplayWidth ) {
                // process orientation change
                // ....
                // Now reset change detection variables.....
                currentDisplayWidth = Display.getWidth();
                currentDisplayOrientation = Display.getOrientation();
            }
        }
    }

  • Photoshop 2015.5 CC - OpenGL/rotation problems

    Hey all,.

    I have updated to 2015.5 later than yesterday and began having problems with the brush rotation and zoom. Attempts by using the rotation tool are filled with "Could not complete your request because it only works with the active OpenGL document windows." OpenGL is enabled, however, and it wasn't a problem before the update. Has anyone experience this problem? I tried enabling / disabling advanced graphics and restart Adobe nothing helps.

  • Digital photo frame displays horizontal pictures but look portrait on my phone.  How can I rotate easily?  Sorry, I'm new

    I use an iPhone 6 more to take pictures and when I load in my Nix, some horizontal display digital photo frame, but on the phone, they're looking at vertical.  How I see why they display horizontal and how do I turn the easily?  I did get a bit of work in PS but nothing is coherent.  I know PS is powerful but I'm new.

    I thank you,

    James B...

    I don't think that you can find in your phone. It's just something that detects where the phone is held, so that the display on the phone is still running correctly. I think your problem is that the image could have an auto rotation function, that tried to fill the frame.

    My image happened to have a size of 800 X 480 pixel, so I use the image processor to all my images at that size. I have an action which then resize the canvas of this size also with a black background. This prevents the framework of cropping images or turning, like the example below:

  • How to rotate a video clip shot with a mobile phone.  I need to rotate the screen, not just the clip.

    I know how to rotate the clip in the screen using the 'Effects' Panel, but when I export the video finished it is small with a lot of black space around it.  It does not fill the screen.  I don't know there is a way but it can not understand.

    Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer.

    Go into the settings of the sequence and it set to custom and change the framesize.

    Staples can be turned in under the Motion effect options.

  • Do a "barrel" rotation as in Hearthstone

    Hello
    I'm about to start making a barrel of rotation as the opponent selector to Hearthstone ( https://youtu.be/QBq_MkP8ZFA?t=14s - ignore the sound )

    My humble knowledge, I'll do these steps:

    1. 3D studio
    2. Import the video into Flash
    3. Make the dynamic field
    4. Fill in the fields with JavaScript from an external .txt or .xml file.

    What is the right way?

    And besides, how is this rotating thing called language English? How should I search the internet for it?

    Thank you
    Gorast

    It is fairly easy to make to this effect in an ActionScript file, it would be difficult to do in a HTML5 Canvas in Florida it is because the AS3 FLA has 3D rotation tools, which are not available in HTML5.

    But, assuming you'd is like AS3, you'd do a movielcip which has the texture of the wood behind a dynamic text field. You set the content of the text according to the external data field, then do arithmetic with the code or create an animation script, to make each line turn and go back and forward in the Z axis.

    Here is a set of five lines where the middle is a Z = 0 and X 0 rotation too. Those above the Middle has his rotation X - 20, the highest which is - 40 value. One below in the Middle East + 20, and the bottom one is + 40. It is degrees.

    In addition to X being turned, they are also moved in the Z axis, to look away more.

    It would take a little time to explain what you need to do, but I hope you can see that this is the same effect as Hearthstone barreling.

  • Rotate the signature in DC Acroba

    In Acrobat 11 I was able to turn the signature type around its axis to give it an angle, DC Acrobat pro doesn't have this capability, would you please add this feature to the rear.

    It makes no sense to remove this feature.

    people normally not directly sign, there's usually an angle and it was very useful to be able to rotate the signature.

    PLEASE bring it back!

  • You will need to fill color different colors in the same plane. How can I do?

    I am new to Illustrator, so I apologize in advance for this simple question, but I searched and can't find an answer.

    I have outlined a few letters and you want to fill different colors inside, as on the logo that I attached below.

    How can I do the simplest? Tried it with the pen tool, make a circle, then using pathfinder, but can't make it work.

    help.jpg

    Thanks in advance for your help

    There are many ways to do it.

    Perhaps the easiest and most direct way to create a gradient, but you would need to edit a lot of stops/nodes (points of color)

    Instead,.

    Dig, make a PATTERN and using PATHS of CLIPPING (as a mask for clipping in Photoshop).

    In this way, you can change the model, the position and the angle of your stripes easily.

    Here's a way to do it:

    1 CREATE A PATTERN.

    I created a series of rectangles with the approximately the shape and color, I want to repeat

    2 MAKE A NEW RECTANGLE AND APPLY THE TEMPLATE

    This goes in the same layer as your chart

    3. with your graphic (path) above the rectangle (path) in the same layer, MAKE a MASK of CLIPPING

    4. Rotate the rectangle (make sure you have "transformation plan" turned on)
