  It is possible to create multiple text fields in the same place and then control which is active. This would require some simple scripts. You could implement the tabs with the help of buttons, so that when it is clicked on the corresponding text field is displayed and the other text in the same location fields becomes hidden. None of this requires InDesign, but should not use something to create the document you are converting to PDF to which you add the form fields.

  But I must ask, once the form is completed by the user, what happens then?

  The field in parentheses is the text (or drop-down menu or other) you want to display when "Other" is selected and hide when it is not.

  If you want to apply the same logic to several fields just duplicate this line of code, the field name in each copy of setting.

  There should be a "Rounded translate tool" to create a round boxes... but it seamed it is not loaded by default.

  If I click on the red marked location nothing happen. If I click on the blue icon I see only "stamp Edge.

• Rounded corners with Gradients?

  I want to create a rounded box that has a few superimposed text in for my website. But the questions is I want the edges to be soft and fade to transparent. In other words I want a rounded box that uses gradients to create the fade. I can create effects on the edges but the corners give me problems. Any advice to apply gradients with rounded corners?

  One of the coolest things you can do with a vector mask - e.g., one created with the rounded - Rectangle tool is pen it.  But it is not clear how...

  Try this:

  • Create a filled rounded Rectangle with the rounded Rectangle tool.

  I know how to drag the box corner to vary the amount of curve in a rectangle with rounded corners, but is there a way to set the value, similar to a digital transformation?

  If you do a lot of rounded forms... as buttons throughout the site and containers, say for the content areas, it would be convenient to be able to set the amount of roundness exactly, so all are pixel perfect even.

  I use this a lot I like rounded areas of content on the sites for the nav buttons and images.

  The trick is to use the "rectangle" tool rather than "rounded rectangle".

  The reason being that, when you use the "rectangle" tool in the menu properties at the bottom of your screen, you will see a "roundness % box.

  One that I noticed however is that if your images or buttons are different sizes you must explain this maintain the same look as larger images will be of the greatest corners and vice versa.

  I do not use RH6 but RH5 'About' window is the file named:
  whskin_banner.htm

  Open in a text editor and you'll see a lot of info.

  Make your changes and save the file in a separate Directory (the default file to the root of the project further wrote when generating). After you gen your project just copy your modified file in the root directory of your generated project, Overwrite = Yes.

• Qosmio G20 156: clean install?

  I am new to the arena for laptop and am the proud owner of the Qosmio G20 156 fantastic.

  I was wondering what people recommend doing the first thing when you receive... in what respect the sofware & operating system; Is it a good idea to perform a clean installation of Windows and the format of the HARD drive? I'm asking this is because some laptops come with a lot of junkware? If so, it's a very simple process using the recovery discs or I just would open the Pandora's box of possible complications?

  I'm quite proficient with installing the drivers etc.

  Any advice much appreciated!

  Well, it s beautiful that you're proficient with installing the driver, but is not everything you need to know.
  This device uses a RAID technology and you will need to also install the RAID drivers, etc.
  I don t recommend to format anything or install the new OS. Toshiba programs and applications are installed on the new Qosmio because it s a laptop top of range with many features. The latest features need these applications.

  But of course it s your device and you decided what and how is running on your laptop.
  I have this case you can use the image of Toshiba and you can remove some programs from the laptop computer in Add and remove programs

  It is a simpler way.

• Problems with RAM and my Satellite Pro P100-240

  Hi all, I hope you can help me somehow.

  Recently, I decided to go on my RAM upgrade before I headed offshore at the University then everything would be smoother. I had originally the 2x512mb RAM sticks if wanted to go for the best, what I discovered this laptop would be 2 x 2 GB sticks.

  I recently bought these sticks of 2 x 2 GB RAM PC World, where they also checked to see if the supported laptop 4 GB, which I was told that this was the case.

  However, when I got home I installed two strips of new RAM but my laptop will not initialize properly.
  Everything looks like it was started and the lights turn on but the screen stays black and nothing happens.

  I don't understand what is happening, the RAM sticks are not defective, because they both work individually.

  Edit: Ive tried swapping them round in all possible combinations and they don't always work together. So currently I use key 1 to 2 GB of RAM and my old 512 MB one with her.

  What can I try?

  I put t know what s wrong with both modules of memory.
  It seems that the two modules may not run correctly together. It is possible, I had some similar problems in the past 8 years since I m a laptop owner.

  My only recommendation is to replace the memory modules and try another.

  Is that laptop supports 4 GB of RAM and it should be possible to upgrade.
  But note; Windows 32 bit OS sees only 3.2 GB due to the limitation of the 32-bit operating system.

• Satellite L50-B-1N8 - weak wifi signal

  So two weeks ago, I bought a new laptop of Toshiba Satellite L50-B-1N8 of Argos.

  He never had too good a force wifi signal (bars never complete - even when sitting next to the wifi router) but I thought it was due to my wifi box and possibly the time of garbage that we had.

  However, I still have my old laptop, and when you check the WiFi side by side, my old portable Samsug picked up the signal full or almost full so this new Toshiba picked up a bar at a push.

  Since then, I took the laptop to my parents and he struggles to get the good WiFi, if no signal there too.

  It's super frustrating because it get wifi, it get just a very weak signal or nothing at all, and as soon as I move my laptop... literally a few centimetres, it will change the wifi signal or my wifi signal is cut and it will be impossible to connect.

  I did everything I can think of troubleshooting to actually factory reset my laptop that none has worked so far. The factory reset seems to have actually done worse, rather better!

  As I said, my router is not the problem here, I have my old laptop that connects very well, as well as two other laptops and mobile devices that all have connected to wifi very well and with full signal!

  I disabled all these wifi devices to see if this is the problem, but that did not help or the other. I also have a booster of wifi in the House, so all devices have full or almost full signal, but it seems of no use for this Toshiba.

  I lose my home, is there anything else I can do? I'm still in the warranty of 30 days of Argos if the laptop is down, but I just can't think of anything to try. I just hope that if the laptop is down Argos will help and either pay the phone or Exchange.

  I think first of all you must check if the wireless performance question isn't related to energy saving settings.

  Go to the control panel? Windows power options.
  Choose the current power plan
  Now, you must click Advanced power settings.

  In Advanced Power settings you will find different options, search for LAN wireless (WiFi) and choose the Performance for both options (battery and power)
  After that, restart the device.

  I have a copuple HP Pavilion Elite PCs (round box) e9280t I buy several years ago. Now refresh their place with new hard disks.  While I am, thought I would replace the old dusty case fans (I understand the fans can go wrong, after many years, just like hard drives).

  Did anyone here know how I can get the exact specifications for these fans, so I know what to buy when I'm shopping.

  The best way to determine that fans have been used since the computer is older is to measure.  Also, if you delete a computer, you can find the CFM.  You can check with the vendor to see if they have available to them.
