Router access log

I wonder if there is a way to connect all users access to the router that indicates the user account and exploitation forest timestamp.

I've implemented orders of logging config via a server Syslog in the following way:

devices > activate

device #conf t

device (config) #logging X.X.X.X (IP address of the Syslog server)

device (config) #archive

config (config-Archives) peripheral #log

Device(config-Archive-log-config) #.

Enable logging

the size of the logging Device(config-Archive-log-config) # 200

Device(config-Archive-log-config) # notify syslog

However, it records only orders entered in configuration mode. I need moniter user access for the purposes of verification. I heard that this can be done using AAA server but I'm not sure. Any help to offer?

Thank you

    Hi Gavin,

    1. you are trying to access router webpage wired or wireless?
    2. What is the brand and model of the router?

I suggest you try the steps from the following link:

Set up a wireless router (the router setting)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows/set-up-wireless-router#set-up-wireless-router=Windows-8

Note: You can try to access the Web page of the router by connecting the wired router. If you still can not access the router's Web page, then you can do a hard reset of the router by taking a small pin and do hard reset. When you hard reset you will lose all the settings of the router and you will need to re - configure the router.

If you are not aware of the configuration of the router, then I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of your router.

You can customize the log format in Apache/httpd.conf. Search for "LogFormat" directive.

    Check
    http://httpd.Apache.org/docs/current/logs.html

    for different elements during formatting!

  • OHS exit ramp access logging

If I want to disable http logging server access, can I just comment on the entry below logging in the httpd.conf file and logging will be so off?

and I hv to comment on these below entries as well?

    "LogFormat '%%u %t \"%r\ hour' % > s %b "commune
    LogFormat "% {Referer} i-> %U" referer
    LogFormat "% {User-agent} I" agent

My http server goes down for any reason, as I do, because it is not able to write newspapers or something?

Yes if you want to disable access record completely and then comment the CustomLog directive. Commenting out will not cause any trouble to your OHS. It's just that there is not any newspaper application / server access.

No, you don't have to comment LogFormat directives. You can those leave as what. LogFormat directive is used to give a name to a format of the access log. It causes no messages get logged. You use the format of log access defined in the CustomLog directive.

My http server goes down for any reason, as I do, because it is not able to write newspapers or something?

Commenting on the CustomLog directive is just disable access not recording error logging. Then you should be fine. The errors will still be logged in the error log file (directive ErrorLog) defined.

    Thank you

  • EA6300 - loss of router access on 80 mhz

Made me a new EA6300 the other day. Today, I bought the adapter usb AC 580 so I could run the 5 GHz in ac mode.

Seeking the optimal speed because this computer is used to stream video and audio, I set the channel width to 80 mhz and the left channel on auto.

When I applied the changes, it worked for maybe a minute and then I lost access to the router so I had to conenct to the 2 .4GHz to log into the router. I tried a few more times and every time I have I applied it, I'll lose access to the router and have to go back on the ssid of 2.4 ghz to log on. When I apply the changes, it would also just get hung up and get stuck on the small balls in circles screen that shows you that it is something.

I messed with it for almost 2 hours and finally gave up and he came back to mixed mode.

The 'problem' is when I'm in mixed mode, I don't get faster speeds using the ac580 I was using just a 53 - usb N adapt, so now think asus I just lost the $60.00 buy the adapter ac580.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

Oh, when I plugged the router just a couple of days, it was updating the firmware automatically I think.

I apologize, I was impatient and nobody responded to this tyhread so I asked it sort of differentlt in another thread.

It makes no sense to me, but the problem was security. It was the wpa2/mixed and worked very well if the width is set to auto.

After trying everything, I went there to just personal wpa2 and voila, I'm logged in and it works fine.

Not sure why it would not work on auto with it wpa2/mixed but not 80 mhz, but it works now.

So obviously, if everyone was never a problem, it would be the 1st thing I'd like to try.

On the flank in a way - I never really thought it through but it is very, very fast, that if I'm streaming video from the hopper of the dish, there is none more quickly due to the limitations of the hopper - Streaming video online I get between 8000-8500 kps with 2.4 ghz or the 5 ghz range.  Tho advantage will be the computer that would be streaming the video will be the only computer on the 5 GHz now as no one else has an AC adapter / CC. I wanted it as soon as possible because I will be using this to stream movies outdoors on the projector, etc, so I really didn't have any stuttering etc. If a group of people is more than a movie, the game etc...

in any case, the security setting and the work very well now changed.

Thanks for your help tho, it is much appreciated.

  • Impossible EA4500 to router access

    Hi all

I just bought the EA4500 router and through the installation without any problem.  The only problem is that I can't access the router, locally or via the dashboard smart Wifi.  Whenever I go to the page with "Access router", enter the password and the clikc the 'submit' button, it does nothing... no incorrect password don't ask or idle invites... almost like the page is somehow broken.  I have all the habit done reboot the router, restart the PC, restart the cable modem, etc. and always have the same result.  Anyone else see this issue?  It's quite annoying not being able to access the router...

    Thank you

    Chris

I'll take a shot at it. I think that your web browser must be enabled to accept cookies. In addition, perhaps linked java? It's just a guess. If this does not solve it... then I'm out of ideas.

  • Add WRT54G: second router / access point, unable to get to the outside network.

    Here is the prob:

We just got cable internet the other day and the cable operator insisted on using their v1000 Belkin F5D7234-4 instead of my WRT54G V8. So I thought I'd use the WRT54G as a second router/AP (without wireless/LAN/WAN). I was eager to do this by running an ethernet in the WAN on the WRT54G port and plug it into the port of the client on the Belkin, place the wrt - 54 G at the other end of the House and have the WRT54G broadcasting the same SSID and require authentication even as the Belkin and use the Belkin to Linksys Wireless Bridge. In this way, it will extend my wireless network and all computers can access the internet and the other (wireline customers will keep at wire-speed, wireless is not authicate to two different networks.)

I can't get the Linksys network based able to see all the other computers outside the WRT - 54 G, even for wireless clients. On the side of things Belkin network, I can't ping the router even if she pulls a DHCP in the Belkin address. All customers the Belkin side can meet and thin internet. I've fiddled with the WRT54-g for almost an entire weekend now with no result. The WRT54G can see the other router as a DNS as well as external DNS providers, but none of the client computers can. Basically, I'm wanting to extend the network of Belkin 4 as most cable customers and fill a few dead wireless, and make the visible computer on the same network of suggestions?

    Parameters of WRT - 54G:

    Automatic configuration - DHCP

    Same domain name like Belkin
IP router set a tire to the DHCP server

    DHCPserver OFF

    Mode of operation: router

    Safe are disabled.

Wireless SSID is the same as Belkin

Wireless channel is the same as belkin.

Method and auth. key is the same as belkin.

    Belkin:

    DHCP is on.

    15 IP addresses available.

Wireless gateway is on with the WRT54G Wireless MAC address information.

    Ethernet cords are connected.

I played with static routes for hours, tried the option routing dynamic, even tried DMZing of the WRT54G intellectual property in the belkin and still unable to connect to the internet. Tried the Belkin MAC address cloning. Nothing seems to work. When I plug the WRT - 54G directly in my digital/Modem/phone cable box, I get internet and everything. I'm at the point of throwing same DD - WRT on it.

But beyond connection "wireless" I discovered really does not work if well (drops random wireless speeds seize up) with two different pieces of equipment running two different firmwares. So the thing connecting wireless set was out the window.

I however knew what I had to do Linksys firmware:

    1.) DHCP clients forward.

    Customers of Belkin - network

    Linksys customers - network B

The dhcp pool was not get transferred to the client computers. That is the 1-2 on network computer had XXX. XXX.100 - 102 for 3-4 computers on network B was YYY. YYY. YYY statically set by Windows. Even after changing to a static address on the network A dhcp scope I could still connect to the internet or to one of the computers on the network.

The static routing table seemed not lead me anywhere either, and I've tried dozens of configurations.

The way I got it Setup is with the customer enthernet of the Belkin ROUTER to THE Internet on the Linksys WRT54G port 1-4. Maybe I should have plugged the ethernet on the client side of 4 ports Linksys?

Anyway DD - WRT redirect DCHP feature was what I need.

Regarding the scenario wireless two routers have the same encryption method and key but different channels and ssid. Who, with DD - WRT for some reason when I jump on the wireless-B, Vista will be ID it as network A (B).

I hope that it has not violated anything except the guarantee which was anyway. The reason for which I needed for my network up this way is because I do a lot of work using VM (of various operating systems), is simply easier to have two separate semi networks. (to different physical locations in the House)

    Hi amolchan001,

The event viewer will give you a fair idea on which the user logged on to the computer.

Open event viewer > select windows Logs > click eventis Security> you can determine the user account that was logged.

Security-related events:-these events are called audits and are described as successful or failed, depending on the event, as if a user tries to open a Windows session succeeded.

Maybe someone can help me to make Cisco to allow ports outside LAN using a NAT?

I did this on Mikrotik easily = |

It is due to the fact that they do not allow "hair pinning" by default, once this is configured, it will work.

  • 1920 router access remote vpn LDAP living

    Hello

What is required for a router in 1920 use AnyConnect and/or also integrate with AD LDAP?

Currently, this router supports legacy clients and has these licenses:

Technology for the Module package license information: "c1900".

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    Technology-technology-package technology
    Course Type next reboot
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    IPBase ipbasek9 ipbasek9 Permanent
    Security securityk9 Permanent securityk9
    given none none none

The vpn to access remote client inherited integrate with AD LDAP?

    Thank you.

As long as you are on IOS 15.3.3M3 or better, you have all the licenses you need for 3.1 AnyConnect run on your 1921.

The guide to directly connect your router to LDAP can be found here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/iOS-XML/iOS/sec_usr_ldap/configuration/15-Mt/sec-usr-LDAP-15-Mt-book/sec_conf_ldap.html

Personally, I would avoid directly interfacing with LDAP, because it can be a complex arrangement. While it can be done, it's easier to have your router to connect to the NPS Microsoft via RADIUS server for your authentication.

    Hi all

where can I find the history of OBIEE 11 g access?
Yes, I know that I can use Administration-> manage Sessions, but as far as I can understand, it shows only public sessions.
    What meetings months ago?

Check this post OBIEE 11 g - log sessions

You can see the log where users holding loglevel = 2

Try to update your messages, allowing you to get answers

    Hope this helps
