• V715w cannot set the wireless network

  Reference Dell V715w printer.  W7 x 64.

  Firmware already updated, clean uninstall/install, restarted router & modem, disconnect, etc. (all bases).  The name of the network on the control panel of the printer says '7ff5c4 print server.  This isn't my SSID.  When reinstalling, I never get the window to select the wireless network; Instead, the Setup program goes directly to methods of connection/bug.  Any help?  How can I do a hard reset of the printer?  I already unplugged for a long time; I don't see a reset button. I already have the two software on the printer resets.

  Short version: printer not finding a decent wireless network; install the software never gives me the chance to choose the wireless network.

  It's confusing. I have this model and have minor problems with it.

  Unplug the printer from the wall. Remove the brick power for 60 seconds. This will reset the printer receives error messages. Maybe this will reset the printer.

• Photosmart C6180 cannot detect the wireless network

  I have a Photosmart C6180 for over a year, and until recently it connected wireless very well.  But since a week ago, it can't detect the wireless network.  I turned off the printer and wireless router several times each without success.  The "Wireless Setup Wizard" running on the C6180does not help. Watch simply screen printer "looking for... wireless router. "indefinitely, until the function Cancel.  The wireless router is about four feet from the printer, in a direct line of sight.  In addition, I have wireless Internet access using the same router and continue to do this successfully, then the router itself works.  Recently I have updated the firmware on the router as well (after the beginning of this problem).  Running the network Test report wireless on a 'PASS' C6180 returns for "Radio on" but a "FAILURE" for "use of Radio". The radio broadcasts as "about" section of the Menu Radio wireless network.  My router is a Belkin Wireless G Router model F5D7230-4.  The printer prints very well with a wired connection, but wireless connectivity has been a key reason behind my purchase.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

  I'm not good with technical stuff and need help with this problem.  Printer works well before going on holiday - power off, including the CISCO router when we went away--returned and turned on any return, printer will not connect to the router again.

  Have reinstalled router without result.  All other computers, phones, etc. to connect to the router fine.

  Wireless network test that the MAC address filtering is enabled, they suggest however have checked this and it's not.

  Wireless configuration wizard can find the network but it just seems impossible to connect to him.

  I see that you are having some problems getting your Photosmart 5525 reconnected to your network after just unplugging a bit. I understand that you have your information wirelessly, but I don't want to set a link here which will take you to our HP print and doctor Scan, which can help you check some things on the wireless network.

  Since you already feed the router to bike, I would recommend restoring the default values of network on the front panel of the printer. You'll want to have your printer on the home screen (should say Photo, Apps and copy). On this screen you want to touch the key/tool icon in the upper right corner, then you want to click on wireless and made scroll down looking for default network. Once you click on that it will ask if you are sure and you want to say Yes. Once that is done, I would recommend the router/printer power cycling tips that were previously provided and then run the wireless configuration that you've been already and it should be able to connect at this time.

  That should hopefully fix it for you, so let me know what happens and I wish you a nice day!

  My laptop has had a big problem and HARD drive crashed. Unfortunately I lost all the data with no chance to recover anything. I installed a new HARD drive. I installed Win XP - SP3.

  But I'm unable to install the wireless network. I continue to pass the button in front of the laptop - nothing. I type the combination Fn + F8 - nothing. I think that I have not installed the driver corectly.

  P.S. - of course, I lost the CD.

• Moved from Office Windows 7 from one room to the other and now it cannot find the wireless network

  I have a HP Pavilion running Windows 7.

  He was hooked through the ethernet in a single room.

  I moved it to another room where there was no inflexible access, so I relied on the use of our wireless network.

• HP B209a cannot find the wireless network

  I'm running into a problem with my B209a find a wireless network.  I'm not well versed in wireless/network please bare with me.   I have an iMac with OS X 10.8.2.  Recently, I upgraded my router to an Airport Extreme.  My Mac can see the printer correctly, however, the printer cannot now see the network.  Airport utility, I see all our appliances listed under wireless clients and an IP address without a name (printer?).  Doesn't look like not to add manually wireless clients is no longer an option.

  The wireless is configured with WPA/WPA2 Personal Security.  The radio is set to 802. 11A / n - 802.11b/g/n (automatic).  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?  Thank you.

  1. Printer, restore the configuration of the network printer.
  2. Turn on the radio to the printer.
  3. From your Mac, connect to the network printer called hpsetup.
  4. Open Safari and select Bookmarks-> Show all bookmarks.
  5. Select Hello on the left.  Your printer should appear in the main window of Safari.
  6. Double-click the printer.  The printer's internal web page should appear.
  7. The Green Network on the printer web page tab.
  8. Select Wireless (802.11) on the left
  9. Press start the wizard and follow the prompts to connect the printer to the network.

  This should get back you on your feet.

  Have you installed all the drivers for your laptop and also the network wireless driver? You can find all the drivers on the Toshiba site.
  Check for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager.

  Use of WLAN you should check the TCP/IP (DHCP or IP) WLAN card settings and you should use the same standard WLAN (e.g. 802. 11b) as on the router. Then, you should see the router and if you know the password, however, you can connect.
  If you can find t the router, disconnect it from the AC/DC adapter for 5 minutes and then plug it in again.

  Recently,.
  Once, I turn my adapter wireless for my laptop 'ON' and it starts to connect to my router 3com officeconnect wireless.
  I found that my router restarts automatically.
  This happens each and every time I turn on my laptop with the wireless adapter ON.

  I use the Satellite A100-785 PPPoE ISP with WPA/AES encryption enabled on the new MS Vista platform.
  All drivers updated to the latest versions, and the wireless signal is Excellent.

  Well, it's strange, but to be honest I n t see a problem with the laptop but with the router. I would recommend controlled again the unique WLan router configuration.

  If you use the Toshiba BIOS so there could be an option called configuration of the device.

• Cannot enable the wireless network adapter

  I have an old Dell Inspiron 1564 of 5 months with a Wireless 1397 WLAN Dell card. I had a few difficulties to connect to my wireless router, and as a last attempt to make it work, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for my wireless card, using a new download of the latest version from the Dell support site.

  The driver seems to install fine and when I look at the card wireless in the Device Manager, it is enabled, but in "control configuration\reseau and Internet\Network connections" (which are accessible through the Network and Sharing Center), it is grey and says people with reduced mobility.

  When I click on activate in there, a small window opens saying "Activation", then after a few seconds, he says "Enabled" then disappears. However, the adapter remains disabled in Center of N/W & sharing and is not detected by Windows.

  I tried to reinstall the driver to install Dell drivers, as well as automatic windows driver search and no work. I also tried to do a system restore, but this does not (cannot finish on any of the restore points).

  I also spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Dell support and their final advice was to format and reinstall Windows.

  The same question is reported here and here, with no resolution apparent. Can anyone offer any advice I've already tried? Thank you!

  More details:
  -I am running Win 7 Pro.
  -Wired networking and internet connection works fine
  -J' have Zone Alarm and Avast Anti virus and I tried to disable both without success

  The same problem has been posted by other here, here, hereand here. It seems to happen with different brands of cards from NW.

  Thanks for the reply. Actually, I got my wireless works today. The steps are, keeping in mind the stuff that I had already tried as stated in my original post:

  -Uninstalled Zone Alarm and Avast Antivirus.
  -Restarted mode without failure.
  -Uninstalled the Driver 1397 WLAN Device Manager.
  -Manager of uninstalled Dell Wireless cards Control Panel > programs.
  -Restarted in Mode safe again.
  -Reinstalled last bouquet of 1397 driver Dell (R237742.exe)
  -Rebooted in safe mode again to verify that the adapter was showing less active in Safe Mode, which it was.
  -Restarted normally to find the list is activated.

  Now I'm right back to where I was before, not being able to connect to my router, but I do not suspect my computer or my card wireless for the moment because I have four wireless devices in the House (this new Dell laptop, another 4 years Dell laptop, an 8 - month, Sony VAIO and a 6 - month old iPhone 3 g). All of these devices, the one that connects to my router is the Sony, so I think I have as well the router problems. I'll probably start another thread on the subject, just to keep this central thread.

  So to summarize, for anyone having the issue where your wireless card is showing disabled in Network Center and share and right click Activate this doesn't even after reinstalling the drivers the most recent, I would recommend to explore two options:
  -Disabling or uninstalling Antivirus software or firewall
  -Uninstall and reinstall the drivers Safe Mode Wireless
  If you are interested in reducing the problem a little, I recommend you to try these separately, probably the SafeMode option first.

  I have a Dell Inspiron switch with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I can't connect to my home network. I've been able to connect for months and the computers and phones of members of my family have no problem. I am able to connect to my school's network and home network no problem my friend.

  You will need to check with firewall / anti virus software and 'allow' full access to your network name 'Wireless', which may also be called SSID.
