  I am not able to burn video to a DVD-R after Windows Update KB976902 installation (using Roxio Creator 2011).  I can burn video on CD - R no problem. It was not a problem until I installed this update. I can't do a system restore, the restore point will not go back to the date that I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  KB976902 is a prerequisite for Win7 SP1 update (expected soon). If KB976902 is not installed, SP1 will not be offered to the computer and you will be able to install it manually.

• Problem installing Roxio Creator 2011 on new computer

  Hi, I'm a new Pavilion Phoenix h9 - 1150t with windows 7 64 bit. I install my old computer programs. I'm having a problem to install the Roxio Creator 2011 program. Installation crashes with a message "installation was interrupted. Alongside this, a pop-up box indicates "you must use the windows feature tour turn on or off in the control panel to install or configure .net Framework 3.5.SP1. I tried to install this program on and outside, with the same results. The installation progress bar hangs at "rollback .net framework 3.5.1. I spent last week in contact with the help of Roxio try all sorts of possible solutions and everything has resulted in the same system to a standstill. Does anyone have an idea what goes wrong with this installation? Thank you, John

• XP SP3 read the Roxio Creator 2011 drive - why not?

  I recently bought a Roxio Creator 2011 software but my system won't read disc. I checked that I meet the requirements for the program and everything works properly and I have all the updates for XP Pro. I went round and round with Roxio for several weeks. After I appealed to BBB, Roxio sent me a replacement drive, but Windows will not read it either. I am able to read/play all THE other drives I - except Roxio. They don't tell me why it does not work.

  If they send you a dvd disc, it may be a problem with the dvd drive on your computer.

  You should check the home site of readers of dvd for updated drivers or the faq.

  I have a thinkpad sl500 which has had it's changed motherboard, and had the model number "INVALID" but later rear fixed to the number on the label on the bottom. I upgraded to win7 and I can't install Roxio Creator SB on it, it gives "Setup has determined that your configuration doesn't support all included products.

  Can someone help me?

  Never mind, I used Orca t change all the MSI files (deleted the launch condition) and then installed one by one, using msiexec /i /qb

  I had roxio creator 9 downloaded correctly, then a few weeks ago I started receiving messages that the certificate file is missing or damaged. not knowing exactly what it was just totally uninstalled the whole program i. now, I'm trying to re - install and when I put the CD key # I get a message telling me that it's a # invalid key. This is as I used the first time. What can I do to get there so I can get my software reinstalled. someone help me please! thanx

• Unable to load roxio creator 2011

  during the installation of roxio creator 2011 a window appears with the status message: "your product key could not be validated. Please try again "."  "in the log file it states: ' could not create and initialize the XML DOM with the error:-2147221164.

• Special Roxio Creator 2009 Edition photo editing application has stopped working

  For some time I was not able to use the application (PhotoSuite) in my Roxio Creator 2009 Special Edition of photo editing.  Today, I checked other parts of creator and they seem to open correctly.  But PhotoSuite appears immediately a Windows error window that says it has stopped working and Windows is looking for a solution.  Of course, as always, they never fulfill the promise of advising me of such a solution.

  Fortunately, I have other photo-editing programs on Board that I can come back, but I'd like to have the option to return PhotoSuite.  I read a thread here about a 2012 creator set starts does not, but on mine, it's just the application of PhotoSuite that won't launch.  I checked the versions of the applications within Creator 2009, and the single fence was "PhotoSuite Launcher Plugin", version 4.5.3145.12514.

  Interestingly, when nine the same program was loaded on our old office 2002 XP and everything still starts and runs very well.  I have more global technical problems with the Vista laptop than the old Office XP;  It's just that the Office runs more slowly with loads of high-data of today.

  Of course this 'special edition' Costco is out of ephemeral warranty of Roxio/Sonic, now owned by Corel, I guess, so getting the help from them without doubt will be vain or expensive or both.  Is there a relatively simple fix, or what I need to remove and reinstall the application or all of 2009 since the disc Creator program?

  Restart the PC, when it is up and running turn all programs running out especially antivirus/firewall software... Put the f2010 program installation disc in the DVD drive and when the Installer offers repair, it is executed, when finished restart the PC. It's working now?

  If it still does not, uninstall all traces of the application using Revo Uninstaller in moderated mode.  Make sure that you back up your Windows registry database before running the uninstall program.

  When was the update of Visual C++ 2010 installed and you can check the version in which it is most recent according to the installed update.

  ·         Are you able to burn the CD/DVD through Windows Explorer?

  Uninstall and reinstall Roxio Creator.

  a. Uninstall Roxio Creator.

  b. run the fix for reader of your CD-ROM or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

  c. then reinstall Roxio and check if that helps
