• Want to 750-209: how to connect an old sound system to a new computer

  I wanted a new 750-209 and a former speaker of Cambridge Soundworks PCWorks 19th Point Surround 4 + under low voltage. There are 2 connector; Left and right who are article 3 (each take manages 3 drivers). The envy has 1 output. It seems that I need a derivation ending in female connectors.

  Just to close this debate; unfortunaely the quick response has not responded to the problem. BestBuy has suggested that I try a composed of derivation of a shot and 2 containers. Finally, I got the system works 'after' discovery that the enormous power brick disliked the new arrangement of power when I replaced the old computer with the desire. I had to replace an adapter 3 - wat and consolidate the brick. A lot of noise to get her old system to work but now I have the choice of speakers or headphones driven by a hold on a HDMI monitor.   This is my first post here, because so far, I was able to solve questions about my laptop. In the meantime, I acquired a 5.1 sound system to connect to my sense of machine, it would be fairly simple because all technologies implemented in this model and the output SPIDF and so on and so forth... Well it wasn't :)

  I have searched online for a solution but nothing obvious came and I tried just to stick everywhere just sound decision to experiment and see what I get, but apparently there's still only 2 speakers working more bass.

  The x 200 sound system is a 2.1 system, so to have a 5.1 system, you need an external decoder and bypass the internal system through the SPDIF output.

  You really have a 5.1 sound system or just a 5.1 system speakers? If it is really a decoder you should have a digital input to connect the SPDIF output and set it up to play a mp3 player at a minimum 4.1 with a stereo source, for example.

  If you only have a 5.1 system (or digital) speakers you will need an external 5.1 sound card, some are connected to other pcmcia USB.

  Yes your Pavilion G6-2277 portable supports a 5.1 sound system. I looked at the specs of your laptop here.

  After researching on your laptop, it has Altec Lansing speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio built. It will generate "5.1 sound quality.

  It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have exactly. Anyway, it is not easy to make good suggestion because in the market, there are many good external sound systems and especially the good one are a bit expensive.

  In my opinion, you should talk with your dealer and see in what price you want to buy speakers. Without a doubt, my favorite system is Logitech Z3.

• IPAD playing on my Surround sound system

  Hello, I currently my IPAD 4 (Retina Display with lightning connector) connected to my audio system surround sound home. I ran a wire to an analog output from the transformer to the IPAD headphones Jack and it seems to play fine through my speakers. I also have the IPAD sitting on a Belkin dock with no entry to the outer (this is why I use the headphone jack). I have to manually change the titles on Itunes.

  As I continue to enjoy the music through my system, I'd do it to make it more effective. I wish I could change the track using a remote control (my universal remote does not recognize the IPAD). I tried a few external docks which have their own speakers (as well as a Bose Sound Dock Altec); an auxiliary input and a remote control and they do not seem to work with my system and I don't know why. Music will not play when I connect the phone directly on the entry on these docks - nor the remote that accompanies these docks work.

  Can anyone recommend a solution for me or a product "universal docking station" my IPAD can sit with an auxiliary input and a remote that works with my surround sound system? Or I'm just something wrong?

• Tecra M2: sound system stops working after a while

  I used my TECRA M2 a year without serious problems. A moth started it my problems with audio - after the start (no matter if via boot or wake up from hibernation) his (speakers) system is functioning normally. After a while (several tens of minutes, hours) sound system stops working (no sound from your speakers or headphones). No errors appear, but not sound. When you try to adjust the volume via the Windows icon on the bar the task CPU usage becomes very high.

  I decided to reinstall my M2 - the first attempt was clean install of WinXP SP2 standard support - sound problem has not changed. Today I decided to restore the system recovery CD, but the result is the same :-(

  Any idea? -I suppose that problem Council... Now, I made a mistake when entering - beeps system (such a beep as during startup) - interesting :-/

  Except sound problem - another strange thing - when I send my XP to restart in about 10% of the attempts he goes off and does not start. Starts normally after pressing power button...

  Looks like a hardware malfunction.
  Maybe it s caused by overheating.
  Check the cooling modules and try to clean it with the vacuum cleaner.

  I don't have any audio system after that I have reset my laptop and restored my personal files.  In the computer system, it showed that I have not IDT High Definition Audio CODEC cannot install or find the driver software online (with a yellow sign).  Can you please give me a solution to fix and if not on IDT, please provide me with any other information to fix it.

  I develop an audio system cockpit of flight 3D to run speech recognition applications. My problem is this: I want to be able to output sound to each stakeholder in the SRS 7.1 individually. In other words, I need to extrapolate on the code that generates the sound output to the left or right of a computer enclosure. I developed a LV code that will do, but when I try to take it to the level following a 7.1 system, I get nothing from beyond the first two speakers. I have notinced that channels detected by the function "Sound File Info" is only two, even if I put the vi "configure the sound output" to seven. I should also mention that the PC sound card provides the output to the surround sound system via a one / audiovisual receiver. Anyone can do the somelight on how I can get the code to see more than two channels and start sound ouputing to each speaker, one at a time? I would really appreciate the help. I also attached the vi that I worked on. Thank you.

  I looked at your code and I was able to get a third speaker to give the output when using a multichannel wave file. I'll make sure that you use a .wav file that has more than two channels in order to get output for speakers spent the first two.
