  I'm not what you mean... Start by describing what tools or methods that you use to extract these pages.

  I've been around several files in CS4 and exported as 720 x 480 files open in CS4, but once I drag the files to the timeline in CS5, I get only audio goes to audio editing.

  Here are the 8 GB of files.

  The culprit is the Cinepak, a dinosaur in numerical terms of video codec. Given that first Pro CS5 is a 64-bit application, it takes the 64-bit codecs and Cinepak being dead for a long time and not available in a 64-bit version, these files do not play as long as - is in CS5.

  You have a few choices, yet they will need any transcoding repacking at least the files. You can open it in CS4 (first or SOUL) and transcode them to something else (DV AVI, for example), or you could try QuickTime as your output container format; There's one included with QuickTime Cinepak codec. In theory, you could do a "repackaging" of Cinepak AVI to MOV Cinepak with no recompression; the encoded content is simply copied a file in another, with a different wrapper on this subject. Since QuickTime is 32-bit, and Adobe has written a translator of sorts for QuickTime which allows its use in CS5, you might be able to work with these files again. If SOUL won't give you the option (although I think), you might look Pro of QuickTime or MPEG Streamclip.

  You can click right on the document, and under "Open with", click on "choose program by default... "to select another program to open the file.  Be sure to focus on the checkbox "Always use selected program to open this type of file" near the bottom and decide if you want that all documents currently open in Wordpad to open in your new selection.  Also, you will need to have an another word processor installed that will open documents in RTF format.  If you do not there are now office and word processing free programs such as: http://www.openoffice.org/ and http://www.libreoffice.org/download/ be aware that these programs are more powerful but also more complicated than Wordpad.

  I just changed from a computer in Microsoft Word for Mac and use pages. I am a writer and my critique using as standard format .rtf group to send and receive criticism. Pages does not open the rtf files, they offer text/edit. I have thousands of documents in rtf format. Is there a way to either make a change in the coverage of all my existing files from rtf to doc, sort of like a find all rtf files and change in doc, or open files rich text in pages?

  If you have Pages ' 09 v4.3 in your Applications: case of iWork ' 09, that allows to open the RTF document and export the Word doc format. This will allow to maintain hyperlinks when you open the Word .doc file in v5.6.2 Pages. If you do not have too much of this version of Pages, then he would offer the best solution for rtf to doc conversion automated with better fidelity of output. I think I have something written that does.

  If you don't have a Pages ' 09:
