Run the VI command line in Windows 7

I try to open a VI and do it run whenever called from the command line.  I am running Windows 7 and LabVIEW 2009.

I followed this guide to get me started.

First, I marked my VI "run the opening:

I therefore call on my command prompt similar program:

"C:/Program Files/National Instruments/LabVIEW 2009/LabVIEW.exe" "C:/User/Desktop/test.vi"

If I already open LabVIEW and running in the main menu, then it opens my VI perfectly without any problems.

However, if I don't already have LabVIEW open, it opens LabVIEW as she normally does, but it only loads to the main menu.  It doesn't load any of my VI.

Does anyone know if this is expected behavior, or how can I fix this so that it opens upward Although LabVIEW is currently closed?

Well... I managed to do work haha.  If you come to ignore the document and open the file via the command line, it opens fine.  I don't know why they say that you can use the command line argument LabVIEW.exe.

"C:\User\Desktop\test.vi"

  • How to install a local help for the tools of cmd.exe and command line on Windows 7?

    Hello

for many applications, the command line (cmd.exe) is a good choice to get results with minimum effort. The shell has continuously been improved over the years, at least until Windows XP.

All the command line tools have a short help screen (using the /? option). When you need more information, you use Windows system for example from the Explorer Help. It is very good.

Now, Windows XP Help content was installed on site, and the operating system. In Windows 7, my computer wants to go to the Microsoft web site on the internet and there is no local help available. The operating system seems to be incomplete. This makes the help system unusable on a computer without internet access or when the server is not accessible.

So my question is: is it possible to install a local copy of help for the tools of cmd.exe and command line under Windows 7 or do we have to go back to Windows XP?

    Thank you

  • Audit of the process command line

Someone had a bit of luck with Windows activation command-line process audit as indicated in the article: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn535776.aspx

I tested this out on a Windows 7 system of teacher to see how the commands executed via the command line are saved in the case where newspapers. I was able to allow all parameters of strategy, as stated in the article however from the test I noticed that not all orders are saved. For example del, rename, and copy commands are not counted while the other type of sys-admin commands (ipconfig, netstat, nslookup, etc.) are being saved. My question is does anyone know why these commands are not counted since according to the example in the article, they should be? Is this normal?

    Thank you

'Start' is an internal command to the shell.

You do not say so, but I suspect that you have not run the previous commands at the command prompt. You have executed from within a batch file, which is another way to invoke a shell.

  • Portege R600-108 - the tool to run the TRIM command to improve the performance of SSDS

    Hello

We have a couple of R600-108 with SSDS, they run Vista Business 32-bit.

I was wondering if there is a utility I can download to run the TRIM command on drives to improve performance?

    Thank you

    James

    Hello

To be honest I m not an expert in the increase in performance of the SSD, but according to the Wikipedia article, TRIM has been implemented in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 and came out with the final versions of these operating systems in October 2009.
It seems former SSD drives have firmware updates, otherwise the new command will be ignored.

According to Wikipedia, there are utilities that can send TRIM commands manually.
These utilities are available from various manufacturers such as Intel or G.Skill.
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/trim

You can consult the Intel tool called "Intel Solid - State Drive Toolbox and Optimizer".

I get a message: to use the 'java' command line tool, you must install a JDK.  I tried 10 times to install without success.  Help, please.

You probably have some of the older than the needs/desires software legacy Java installed.

Please see these sons of community message:

After the installation of El Capitan, I get the message: to use the 'java' command line tool, you must install a JDK

Just found this last Java does not work with El Capitan

This is the Apple link to the legacy version of Java 6.

Download Java for OS X 2015-001

First of all, I would like to try to identify what application generated the next message and update (delete) this request as the case may be. If you need to run Java then, as the Apple Support page says it's certainly preferable that your installation of Java entirely up-to-date with the Oracle's Java course. If you can get without Java, you should install it not - like the Flash, it should not be installed unless you have no choice.

  • In bulk to rename files in a folder by using the DOS command line or a batch file.

Can someone help with this problem, please?  I remember seeing the DOS command line to do a mass renaming of files in a folder or a batch file. for example, vacation photos are all in the format DSC00001.jpg to DSC001234 and I want to change it to something like, say, Rome0001.jpg to Rome1234.jpg.

    How about this:
Go to the folder of your files in that.  Create a text file, and open it (Windows should use Notepad, that very well).
    in the file type:
    Ren dsc*.jpg rome*.jpg
    Now, save the file as:
    renamethem.bat
(Make sure you call it ".bat" and save it as a txt document, which will make a simpel file and not add a strange formatting)
From there, just double-click this file and it renames all your pictures accordingly.

  • Is the subst command broken in Windows 7?

I have a media (MediaMonkey) reading application I've used for several years, one of its annoying features is that if you want to synchronize and convert the music into a local folder, you must create a virtual disk for this purpose letter. It's a pain, but I did this for years in Windows XP without any problem using the subst command. However, in Windows 7, I am struck by the problems.

    Scenario of

I have 2 physical hard drives with multiple partitions each in my PC. Rather use a ton of drive letters, I configured the system for the partition system is mounted in the drive C:, as usual, but all other partitions are mounted in folders under C:\Volumes\(volume name)

Let's say I have a folder for my multimedia files under C:\Volumes\Share\Music\Encoded_MP3 (where the partition is mounted on C:\Volumes\Share)

I can create a Q: drive letter with in a command prompt (with administrator privileges) using -.

    C:\Volumes\Share\music\Encoded_MP3 q: SUBST

After having done that, the command SUBST, said the drive letter exists.

    C:\Windows\System32>subst
    Q:\: => C:\Volumes\Share\music\Encoded_MP3

But the drive Q actually does not appear in the Explorer of can I and MediaMonkey can not see it either by car.

Is the subst command broken in Windows 7? and if so is it anothere medium to create a drive letter to a folder on a non-system drive partition?

The SUBST command works in Windows 7, but the substituted drive is visible in the same level of privilege.  The execution of your command SUBST in an elevated command prompt should NOT fix your problem.  Interestingly, you can run it in fact in both a high and no high command prompt and it will be accessible in both directions.

  • syntax of command line using windows 7 to find/select something in a new Explorer window

in a syntax of command line using windows 7 I would d a Search Explorer to find all the *.jpg and the command line syntax is cheating on me.
    C:\Windows\explorer.exe/n, / e, e:\photos brings the folder but fine:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe/n, / e, e:\photos /name: *.jpg is not the choice I want - it starts an assignment of the Explorer in 'my documents '.
I do not need a full AQS syntax guide, only how to make the choice to work. Maybe the /name: is not the right word, is it / selection or/find or something else?
    Thank you

    Hi Rick,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community.

According to the description, it seems that you want to use the syntax of command line on Windows 7 computer.

I suggest to see the steps from the following link and check.

  • "Cannot run the script at line 1. File or folder does not exist. »

Whenever I have start AfterEffects, I get an error as he is looking to find my recent projects.  The error is as follows: "unable to run the script at line 1. File or folder does not exist. "I haven't changed the location in one of my project files.  It's the same external drives that I use for months.  When I click on OK the same window opens several times and then finally the historic window opens completely blank and empty.  I am able to reopen projects however since the RECENT PROJECTS drop in the top bar.  It is a very strange and disturbing behavior.  In addition, I always use 13.7.2 because when I go to update it is impossible to connect and gives me this error.  I sat with Adobe support for an hour today, and we couldn't understand.  As I am in the middle of major projects, I decided to not update, but this error at startup is very worrying.  Someone has an idea of what could go wrong or how I can fix this?

Thank you very much for your time.

Ok!  Just got a response and an Adobe technical support solution.  The problem is that there is a problem with these versions of sequels (and I found the same problem in first to my horror this morning as well!) and the last couple Mac OSs.  The solution is to close the window "library".  It is then normally.  Apparently they fixed in the last update, but I found the same problem on my second computer, which has been updated.  Anyway, if anyone has this problem, close your cc library window.  Voila.

  • How to deal with the plugin command line options?

    Hello

I am currently working on a plugin c ++ for Adobe Acrobat 7 with the version 7.0.5 SDK.

I let the user opens a specific pdf file by clicking on a link in the browser.

to this end, I signed an additional protocol in the windows registry. Works very well.

But now, I mean my plugin for specific things when calling acrobat.exe in this way.

So is it possible to get the specified command line parameters given to acrobat.exe Self?

It would also help if my plugin can be added with URL parameters.

    I could also use.

I found nothing on this issue.

    Kind regards

    Sebastian

No, your plugin does not access to the command line.  Look for other methods of IAC (COM, DDE, memory shared, shared files, etc.).

  • MAR3200: access to the WMI command-line

    Hello

I'm setting up a MAR3200 (C3230ENC - 2WMICE - K9 V01 / Version 12.4 (2) T4, VERSION of the SOFTWARE (fc2)). I can access the router through Telnet and the CLI, but I have not found a way to access the WMI command-line for Setup (ssid...). Can anyone give an indication?

    Thank you in advance

    Best regards

    Alain-Claude

    Hello:

The MAR has a console interface to enclusre series for each WMI command-line. These are normally at the top and labeled by WMIC, i.e. WMIC1, WMIC2. Console in this interface as you would the MARC and configure it as a 1200 AP. WMIC 1 should be connected F0/0 inside the compound. WMIC 2 is usually connected to F2/3 on the FESMIC. If you use a command line WMI uplink to a solution of Mesh 1500 series or any other non - Cisco AP, consider the universal solution of bridge as detailed in the Enterprise Mobility 3.0 SRND working group. Note also that the "mobile station" command when it is used on a radio interface causes flow challenges (caveat) if the MAR is not the uplink to another MAR or IOS AP.
