    Original title: why do I get an error RT 75 every Friday

    My apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question. If so, please point me in the right direction...

    My company has created an application that installs Windows 7 at the administrative level. The account I run the application is also an administrator-level account. The software works without problem from Monday to Thursday. Friday morning, without fail, I get an error RT 75, path/file access error. I have to right click on the desktop icon and select run as administrator to 'reset' the permissions of applications and from that point until the next morning Friday, the software will work without problem.

    Things, I tried to go beyond this problem...

    1 given total control of the applicaton folder and all subfolders and files for not only account administrators, but also users, installers approved AND all accounts. NOTE: Every Friday, security settings for user accounts and the Trusted Installer is provided to limited control and the Everyone account has been removed from the security for the application folder tab.

    2. turned UAC puts him lower and attempted to run the application without permissions resetting in the Security tab of the properties of applications screen.

    I am currently trying to determine whether UAC to him is the lowest settings AND reset permissions on the properties of applications screen will allos a resolution to this problem.

    Our customers also see this activity on their own computer. I get multiple calls every Friday on this error and I would like to know if anyone has seen this same behavior and, if possible, find a resolution.

    Hello

    This is known problem with Acrobat for several versions now, current fix from Adobe is just to update their software: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404597.html

    The problem is with the data of application given erroneous instructions.
    "The affected user has a folder Application Data redirected and so the path to the network that contains the Application data uses a UNC path that begins with \. "This UNC path causes Acrobat 9.0 and Adobe Reader 9.0 incorrectly analyzes the Application data path and give the error message.
    A possible Solution would be to go into the registry. Left click type 'regedit' and right-click and run the program with "run as Administrator". Go to Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders and make sure see where pointing "AppData". If it is oriented towards 'data %UserProfile%/Application' change it to point to '% UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming '.

    Borrow a Microsoft Vista DVD(not Dell, HP, etc Recovery DVDs) to do a repair installation

    If you see a startup Neosmart repair disk download here, this is NOT what you want.

    You want a good Vista DVD that contains the operating system files.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If you need a recovery media for your laptop back to factory settings, read this info:
    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • System 5 error has occurred. Access is denied

    I just installed Oracle 11 g XE on Windows 7. When I try to start to use the "Start DB" button, the command window appears with the text following (elipsis added to shorten the path):
    --------------------
    ... server\BIN% net start OracleXETNSListener
    System 5 error has occurred.

    Access is denied.

    ... server\BIN % net start OracleServiceXE
    System 5 error has occurred.

    Access is denied.

    --------------------
    Can anyone please explain this error and tell me how to prevent (or if I can ignore it)? Thanks in advance

    The start menu option 'Start database' is really a call to StartDB.bat (in the bin directory).

    On win 7 (and other), it must be run in an elevated privs command prompt. You can right click and run as administrator or a prompt in this way (run as..) and just call startdb bat file.

    Hello

    • What application you use to display pictures?

    Try the SFC scan on the computer.

    SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.

    Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC/scannow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should be usually one of your top not troubleshooting.
