Runtime Error & Pandora's box

Hi, I've owned and played the game of diabolical Microsoft for more than 10 years and it's time to make a backup copy because it's well played and I'm waiting for the day that the drive no longer works. The game is a hard to find for sale

Backup installs without problem, but when it comes to play the game it closes and I get the following error message:-

Microsoft visual C++ runtime library. abnormal termination of the program

C\program files\microsoft games-Pandora's box-pandora exe

I searched the forums for help on errors, and most of the people are reported to the software manufacturer that seems to be the cause of the problem.  In this case it's a game of microsoft I hope you can help me.

Any help much appreciated

Thank you

Hi Stromydays_uk,

I suggest you to access the link below and download updated Pandora's box and install it and check if it helps solve the problem of run-time error. The latter contains the last modified file in Pandora.exe.

    Hi Doug,.

I finally found the solution. In the LV API, there is a reminder VI named "DisplayExecution" that brings the VI identified as high-lvl (made in the initialization of the API (global refnum TopLevel)) to be the toplevel window.

This recall VI is played on each interruption of the execution, it is also played on the runtime error.

  • HP Setup crashes with a runtime error for interface C309-m software

I am running Windows 7 64 bit.  All operating system updates are installed.

I need to update the software to interface with my printer HP Photosmart Premium C309-m.  The current software is out of date.  I can't start the scan from the printer, and only my account on the computer recognizes that I have a printer.  Several analysis diagnosis on the State of HP Scan Doctor tool that some software components seem to be missing.  The printer itself seems to work very well.

When I try to update the software C309-m via HP Print/Scan doctor, software downloads, extracted, then runs and crashes with a runtime error.  The error box comes from the Microsoft Visual C++ run-time library and the crash of Setup runs is the appdata/local/temp/7zS3DA1 directory that I seem to have several similar directories that were not cleaned from previous installation attempts.

Any suggestions on how to get a successful installation of the C309-m software would be appreciated.

  • Stops running after the recall of custom Manager runtime error

I have written a custom runtime error handler based on the example of ErrorHandlerExample which comes with TestStand uses Teststand 2010 SP1. It has been implemented as a reminder of StationPostStepRuntimeError in my folder of reminders of the Station.  I modified the example as follows:

    (1) added code to disable the transmitter USE if it was on.

    (2) added a call to an executable that sends an email to the currently logged in user.

    (3) call the TestStand standard runtime error dialog box using the method DisplayRunTimeErrorDialog of engine.

    (4) the user's selection process, then turn on the transmitter USE for any another option and then have an abortion.

The recall also checks the State of the break and "do not show this execution" options selected by the user.  If the user selects break so the only option I can find is to call the method of the Execution.Break () API which breaks execution there in my reminder. The user must then step go out the recall.   Is there a way to instruct TestStand to complete execution of callback and the break immediately after completing the callback (i.e.at the next step after the error)?  I have compressed upwards and attached my modified sequence.

If not, is there a better way to do this?

    Kind regards

    David

  • Highest Tycoon 3, Runtim Error

When I try and run Rollercoaster Tycoon on Windows 7 it just keeps saying Runtim Error.

    Help. :(

Using 32 bit or 64 bit W7? apparently this says that it does not work on 64-bit.

Whatever it is, take a look at this site (I think its an atari game), in 'Search solutions' first pick the game box, then in the next box select the type of platform (CD/DVD/PC etc), and in the last box, select "technical issues" and read the results.

Don't know if they really solve the problem or not, but may be worth a try.

    Good luck.

    Hi patsyyanez,

    ·         You did changes to the computer before the show?

These errors can be caused mainly by two factors:

    ·         The Visual C++ library runtime components are missing.

    ·         Software problem.
