RV325 Cisco VPN throughput?

Dear Sir.

I intend to buy this VPN router to connect my laptop to the home network via the VPN Ipsec configuartion Office of Mr. I have a few questions to ask.

First of all, my laptop can see all computers on the network with 100 M/s?

Second, I used this connection for my software Vray for rendering distributed remotely. This is the main objective. Now, I m using the Asus RT - 66U router built in open VPN service and speed 2 M/s, but the actual data flow for this process is 20 M/s. I wonder if I buy cisco RV325 which can help to solve this problem?

Thank you

David

Hello David,.

You can find in the RV320/325 Datasheed IPSec VPN throughput is 100 Mbps:

http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/rv325-dual-Giga...

Please note that the upload speed and download you'll actually are also determined by your ISP, as well as the way which you VPN tunnels will have many assets on the router.

Kind regards

Milan Milanov

I have trying to find max VPN throughput on my 1721 VPN package. I don't finy nothing difinitive. I use the Ethernet interface of the WIC to connect to Congress and other centres, so it is not limited by the line rented in most cases.

The exact flow of a 860MPC base (1721) Cisco router is based on a number of factors. Encryption/encapsulation type, version of the code, etc.

3DES IPSec router to router "in the laboratory" with 1400 bytes packets are out 8 MB I think. If your network is not "in the lab" you can expect less (probably much less) than that.

  • Cisco VPN does not work in the Sierra

I just upgraded to OS Sierra and the Cisco VPN, I had the installer does connect more.  The Setup looks right into network preferences. When I click it looks like it is trying but stops without asking for a password.

Cisco VPN client may need to update or re-installed. If she uses the PPTP Protocol, it will not work. Support for PPTP was ignored, because it is no longer considered as secure.

  • Cisco VPN and TOSHIBA 3G cards

    Hello

Since the introduction of WIN7 there was a big problem with the Cisco VPN client and 3G cards.
See the next on the Cisco support forum thread: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2017102

The interesting part is this post:
    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/message/3166246#3166246
It seems that Cisco uses what is called Citrix DNE.

So I Googled it and came up with this link:
    http://www.Citrix.com/lang/English/LP/lp_1680845.asp

    On this page it says:
DNE now supports the WWAN devices in Win7. Before you download the latest version of DNEUpdate from the links below, make sure you have the latest drivers for your network card by downloading from the websites of sellers.

It might be a long shot, but someone can it there with a card 3 G TOSHIBA, win7, and cisco VPN access, try this new version of Citrix DNE?

You have Toshiba laptop with 3G card?
Can you test for us and post the result?

    I n t have Win7 on my machine.

  • Unable to connect to the Cisco VPN you use native client: El Capitan

I'm unable to connect to the Cisco VPN using native client server Cisco OSX via IPSec. Before the upgrade for connections VPN El Capitan has worked without any problems. VPN uses the shared secret of group. It seems, I get the error "raccoon [2580] ': could not send message vpn_control: Broken pipe ' during the connection."

When I upgraded to El Capitan, VPN connection has stopped working. I tried to do the following:

    * connect using the old work VPN connection: without success

Config: Hand [server address, account name],

AUTH settings [shared secret, the Group name].

VPN server is high and does not work and accepts connections, this problem is entirely on the client side.

  • Cisco VPN Client causes a blue screen crash on Windows XP Pro (Satellite M30)

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro M30 running Windows XP Professional.

After you start a vpn Tunnel via a customer of Cisco VPN (Version 4.6 and 4.7), the system crashes with a blue screen.

I see that the key exchange is successful, but immediately after the vpn connection is established Windows XP crashes with a blue screen.

Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

Perhaps by the updated device driver? And if so, which driver should be updated?

    Kind regards

    Thorsten

    Hello

Well, it seems that the Cisco client is a problem.
I m unaware of this product because it of not designed by Toshiba.
I think that the drivers are not compatible with the Windows operating system.
However, I found this site troubleshooting cisco vpn client:
    Please check this:

I went to the window registry local machine, then soft and deleted the cisco vpn software. but it does not work.
    any help will be grateful?

    Hello alsky95,

I do not know what records you remove to uninstall the software, I suggest you to follow the article which you will give information on how to uninstall manually below and upgrade the Cisco VPN Client I found on Cisco's Web site:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/sw/secursw/ps2308/products_tech_note09186a0080094b7f.shtml

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Cisco VPN problem with security update KB3057839 for Vista

Someone had problems with any connection Cisco VPN works after the installation of update of security KB3057839 for Vista? When this update is installed, the pop-up to enter the password and user id not come, need to use the Task Manager to close the program. The first time I went back to the restore point to get my VPN to work, this time I tried to reinstall the VPN but that doesn't work anymore. I started to uninstall updates (had 7 of them), when I got to it, KB3057839, the VPN began working again.

See this on the real issue:

    http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/PuTTY/wishlist/Vista-update-breaks-config.html

It turns out that the logon dialog box is invisible, but still, it agrees to enter you your password and LOG you!

  • Professional Windows Vista crashes when you use Cisco VPN Client 5.05.0290

I have a Dell Latitude E6400 Windows Vista Business (32 bit) operating system. When I go to turn on the VPN client, I get invited to my username / password and once entered, the system just hangs. The only way to answer, it's a re-start. I took action:

    1 disabled UAC in Windows
2 tried an earlier version of the VPN client
    3. by the representative of Cisco, I put the application runs as an administrator

If there are any suggestions or similar stories, I would be grateful any offereings.

It IS the COMODO Firewall with the 5.0.x CISCO VPN client that causes the gel. The last update of COMODO has caused some incompatibility. I tried to install COMODO without the built in Zonealerm, but it is still frozen. The only way to solve it is to uninstall COMODOD. Since then, my CISCO VPN client works again...

  • problem Cisco VPN, X100e

Hi, I have my new x100e for a few days, and I'm trying to make it work with Cisco VPN client to connect remotely to my work. Cisco is works perfectly if connected via WiFi or LAN, but not working not not via integrated UMTS modem. When I start Cisco VPN and attempt to connect, I wonder login and pwd, everything works OK, after that, trying to open the web page you requested does not charge.

When I tried external USB modem with its own pilots etc everyting was working properly. If I try UMTS modem built to normal when web pages not connected to the VPN, everything works OK also.

Can someone help me solve this problem? I bought this laptop specially for this integrated modem.

    Thank you very much

"The potential compatibility issues" you will find this:
The VPN Client on Windows 7 does not support devices WWAN (also called wireless data cards).

If the problem is the customer himself who don't recognize connection of data card (strange but possible), the HSDPA connection made to the old (via dialup) can be a solution.

Just make a modem connection to the number * 99 * 1 # and put the usual initialization string in the modem of the advanced properties at + cgdcont = 1, "IP", 'your apn'

Map of gobi works both as a network adapter or a modem.

    It's worth a try

  • Cisco vpn client minimized in the taskbar and the rest in status: disconnect

I used 5.0.07.0240 cisco vpn client for 1 month with my pc under windows 7-64 bit. Worked well for 1 month. All of a sudden now when I double click the icon to start, VPN automatically minimizes to the taskbar with the disconnected state. It does not connect the option to hit or anything before it reduced to a minimum. I've not seen this before and no changes... but now it simply doesn't work. All solutions? Windows just patch automatically breaking cisco?
Unfortunately, cisco does not world class technical service... they called but no use.

In my view, there is now a published version of the x 64 client, you need to download.
If you suspect an update of Windows, why not try a system restore for a day, it was
    working correctly?

  • Using Cisco VPN Client in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    Hi all!
I need to use Cisco VPN Client to connect to my server in the company, because my company uses lotus notes Server, I have to connect Cisco VPN to access e-mail. But now my windows version is Windows 7 Pro 64 bits that cannot directly install this application, I already installed XP Mode and creatde shortcut to Windows 7, I plugged the Cisco VPN to my Cisco VPN server, but I can not access the server, Pls help me and show me how to solve this problem

Open the XP VM itself, do not use the shortcut that was published in
the W7 boot menu. You need to install Outlook / your email client
Inside the virtual machine, as well as on the side of W7. You can point to the same
PST files if you have local PST files, but you just can't open them in
at the same time of W7 and XP VM.

There is no way to bridge using the shortcut of publishing app

Some people have reported success with the third party IPSec
replacements as customer universal shrew or the NCP. Your IT Department.
would like to know if these are supported

  • Cisco VPN Client and 64-Bit OS Support

I'm in the stages of planning/testing of migrating users to the Cisco VPN client. Problem that I came across well is that I can't find a version that supports 64-bit operating systems. I looked through the Download Center with no luck. I'm a little more looking for a version out there? Thanks in advance.

As much as I know there is no 64-bit support and is not yet on the roadmap of IPSEC VPN Client. For more details, see:
