S10 Bluetooth with nokia pc suite

I am a new user of s10 and very happy with this laptop. After a long time of waiting, finally I got it by last Friday. So happy with the model, and run it. But when after I have install nokia pc suite last night, that a problem came when I try to plug it, pair the two unit. the bluetooth s10 software take the matching process, the process of pairing completed without problems, but after peeling here see a dialog box saying "cannot authenticate the phone" If the phone cannot connect with pc suite.

can someone help me solve this problem? I already try to uninstall the bluetooth of s10 software and change with the new program of Blue Sun, but the Blue Sun can not find the bluetooth hardware. even with the broadcom bluetooth software, which tell me can not find hardware bluetooh.

So what I did to make the connected phone, don't make me disappointed with this s10 due to this technical glitch.

Thanks for your help and your attention

Best regards

blackpepper

Hi blackpepper,...

I managed to solve this problem by removing the driver and the software original and used microsoft bluetooth stack.

1. remove all the driver of bt in Device Manager

2. remove the bluetooth program, as appropriate. In your case, it will be the Sun

3. navigate to c:\windows\inf (hidden folder) and copy bth.inf to any folder as a backup.

4. open bth.inf with notepad, after the; - Device section - Start - line. You can choose one of the unit and replace the value "USB\VID_0A5C & PID_2150" without citation.

for example

[Broadcom.NT.5.1]
BLUTONIUM BCM2035 Bluetooth 2.4 GHz Single Chip Transceiver = BthUsb, USB\VID_0A5C & PID_200A
Single-chip 2.4 GHz Bluetooth transmitter/receiver BCM2033 = BthUsb, USB\VID_0A5C & PID_200F
Bluetooth = BthUsb, USB\VID_0A5C & PID_2150 BCMNokia (you can name the device as your desire, I named it BCMNokia)

Save and closed the bth.inf

5. go into Device Manager, scan for change of hardware, and you should be install with the ms bluetooth stack driver.

    Hello

I would use the GPS Navigation with my Nokia 6600 via Bluetooth GPS (model of GPS Royaltek x-Mini).
Prior use I have to install the software on the MMC card of the mobile phone via Nokia PC Suite (Nokia 6600).

For BT, I use the Toshiba SD Card 2 in Portege.

With the Manager Bluetooth Toshiba (3.20.01), I can discover and establish a connecting series via BT without problems.

At the start of the Nokia PC Suite (which automatically ' seeing' the new BT Port...) the faulty connection.

    Any idea? Thank you...

    Hello

Unfortunately I can't give you an appropriate response. The fact is that the Bluetooth works properly and portable can communicate with the unit. It is not easy to say why the connection failed after starting Nokia PC suite.

In my opinion, you should try to contact the Nokia support. They have more experience with own software and it is probably tested by Nokia. If you have a solution please let us know.

    Good luck!

  • Problems of internet connection of Bluetooth with Nokia 6680

    Hello

After a reinstall of Windows on my laptop Portege R200, I'm not able to install a new connection using the connection from the bluetooth stack Wizard more. This only happens for the express installation of the battery, I want to do for internet connection. Connect bluetooth to your mobile generally is working, as it is the Nokia PC Suite application. Re-install the software doesn't seem to work.

Test a little, I discovered the following:
-L' Connection Wizard (either automatically or manually) is not mobile and authentication works without problems as well. But after this step, an error message appears saying that the connection cannot be established
-If I use manual mode to create a connection error occurs after you choose the COM port
-At the manual installation: if I use some other than 40 COM-port, the error no longer appears and it continues with the installation of the modem
-Use of the program of COM Local Bluetooth to add a port, I get an error of creation of the port COM-40, too
-40 COM port is not used by another application

No idea what could cause this problem?

    Hello

Did you use the Bluetooth connection before the reinstallation of the Windows operating system?
    It was working properly?
Unfortunately I do not have a Bluetooth specification, but I recommend you to download the latest version of battery Bluetooth m.

  • Tecra M3 with Nokia PC suite for 6600

I can detect the Nokia 6600, even use as a GPRS modem and transfer files FROM the phone, but any kind of response via Nokia PC suite does nothing, not even the works of IRda. There is nothing wrong with the phone because it works OK with a BT USB on the other PC. It pairs OK, attatches to any given etc. com port. What is the Nokia suite or what?

    Hello

I also have the Nokia mobile phone and I checked the IrDA connection to my Tecra M1. The connection works perfectly. If infrared is activated on the mobile phone, the connection is available in a few seconds. The Nokia is presented as the new hardware component.

Please check in Device Manager if the IrDA is successfully activated. BT connection is ok I can use the phone as external modem just can't send a photo from my phone to the laptop. I'll try to check how it works and after again.

I guess in your case, it's a suite NOKIA as in my case.

On this Toshiba Bluetooth portal, you can get the new version 6.40.00 BT

But I don t understand why it should not work with c. 6.40
I think that Nokia system requirements were created before the release of version 6.40...

However, if newest PC suite 7.1 is not compatible with the BT 6.4 then I recommend that you test the battery Microsoft Bluetooth...

  • Satellite U300-130 - TosBtMng has stopped working after installing Nokia PC Suite

I have the same problem too... with Toshiba Satellite U300-130.

Bluetooth worked well enough before I installed the Nokia PC Suite for my mobile on my PC (new version 7.1.26.0 Web site).

To be correct, as a first step, I even managed to maintain a connection between the PC and the Nokia Bluetooth and ran the synchronization of the contacts. I tried several times, but each time synchronization run ended with the message "PC couldn't get response from your Nokia.

After the reboot, my PC went crazy and started broadcasting the message "TosBtMng has stopped working" and it restarted every time that I ask him to close.

Installation of the new version of BT Stack (6.40) does not resolve this error.

    Help, please

    Nokia PC Suite 7.0.8.2 version

Information system in Nokia PC suite pointed out two stacks of BT compatible:
    Microsoft Version 5.1.2600
    Toshiba 6.0.7y19.0
The help of Nokia says "If your Bluetooth software is not supported by Nokia PC suite, this is mentioned in the information of Nokia PC suite window"
There is no indication in the information of Nokia PC suite window that my Bluetooth software is not supported.

I constantly receive a "cannot find the remote device" message when you use Toshiba BT Stack.

For a few seconds, one of my phones connected using the Launcher free config (not something I normally use) but then the phone has disappeared from the screen and now can not be detected.
