  Hello

  I bought a laptop Satellite A210 - 11 p in January this year, I'm very happy with it.
  Anyone know how I can monitor the temperature of the processor?

  As the fan speed increases and decreases, I fear that the laptop heat up.
  I supoose it's normal, I use the laptop on a desk, so it isn't a problem with the air flow.

  I use the Everest Home edition application. It monitors and provides details on the temperature of the processor and HARD drive.

  You are right. The speed of the fan depends on the internal temperature. According to the use of the laptop, the temperature increases and decreases.

  To be honest I don t see any problems and it is normal behavior.

  I have the HP TouchSmart 310-1124F office running on Windows 7 and did have PKU overheating problems. I finally understood what was wrong. The fan. The processor was 74 degrees when I played a DVD music while capturing the music with Roxio Creator 2011 Pro.

  I placed a regular fan behind the unit and it worked, no overheating problem. I therefore bought a double external fan from Amazon that I stuck to the back of the unit before the two events and had no problem of overheating more.  What I'm looking for now is a software program monitoring CPU temperature free without any malware. Someone on this site a site recommended and I forgot the name, but he had tons of malware and was of no use to me. If I saw him I would remember the name. All the free sites out there? Thank you., John

  For chipset temp, nVidia System Monitor, part of nVidia System Tools (no need to install the other two parts of system tools), also works well that's a bit inflated to install compared to HWMonitor.  On the positive side, it can display only what you want above the other windows in the small Panel.  "GPU" is the place for the good temp video integrated chipset or motherboard no matter what the choice is.

  I have a m8400f desktop.  I ran PC Doctor software that comes with the PC to try to get the base temperature of CPU of the AMD Phenom who is installed, but cannot get the info of the show diag.  I installed nVidia system monitor and cpu Rightmark monitor with the same level of success.  I went into the BIOS to see if the cpu temperature is passed here, but it's not.  Did I miss a MIB which is not load or how to get an accurate reading on the base of CPU temperature?  Sample or in real time I don't really like I would just get a reading of the base temperature.

  HWMonitor didn't need to be installed. Just unzip the files in a directory and run the .exe. To remove the program, just delete the files.

  Yes, there is some temperature sensors. As far as I know there are downloadable tools on the internet.
  Usually they can access temperature sensors available on your pc. By accessing the available hardware monitor chips, some of them can show temperatures, voltages, and fan speeds. Most of them work well with desktop computers, but not with laptops. In my opinion, there is a protection because through false user configuration can damage hardware components.

  My computer is hung up on me while running certain applications (such as Dreamweaver CS3) or other situations in which work the CPU at maximum performance. I suspect that the reason is high CPU temperatures and indeed download several CPU, monitor applications (like thermal analyst intel) my average CPU temperature is around 61 degrees (Celsius), and before the computer hangs (instantly - just completely stop lose power), it reaches very high and not necessairly after working for a long time.

  I think you will need to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.
  In your case maybe the cooling module may not work correctly. Probably the thermal grease that is placed between the CPU and the cooling module must be renewed.

  Sometimes, the display freezes on my Satellite S1900-303. The laptop always uses the original graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon M6, with driver version 6.13.10.6052 dated dated 22/03/2002.

  Can anyone tell if the latest driver available for the graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon M6? I tried the ATI (now AMD) & Toshiba sites without a bit of luck.

  Eh, I've had this laptop for the year 2003 model and it was pretty good laptop.
  Currently, I have used original recovery image with the latest updates from Microsoft.

  Now you have SP3 and probably a lot of new software pre-installed on it. Who knows why this is happening there?
  When you say that the display freezes sometimes does that mean exactly? Does make some operations or what?

  It is not easy to provide support for this old piece of hardware.

  The DVD/CD on my Satellite S1900-303 drive needs to be replaced (not surprising given the age of the laptop!) It was purchased in January 2003 and is still going strong

  I would highly recommend you to check eBay. You will find many parts Toshiba and such ODD, you can get for less money. I mean why spend a lot of money for new ODD if you can use the one used.
  Satellite 1900 is very old model of laptop, and I think that you should not spend a lot of money.

  For me it s definitely dust in the heat sink, especially if you do not clean your laptop before. You must use the jet of compressed air to blow the dust from the cooling fans. • Satellite M100 - I can't analyze the CPU temperature

  I am a Toshiba Satellite M100 series owner (Core Duo T2300, X 1400, etc.). The problem is that I can't analyze the CPU temperature variations in such popular application such as Everest or Notebook Hardware Control. Also any other software provided by Toshiba and installed already on my HARD drive does not include some CPU diagnostics, including temperature changes!

  The only software that seems to work is the HWiNFO32 so there is a thermal probe inside which specifies that Centrino Duo processor temperature, but this software is not very user-friendly :(

  There is a request for Toshiba do something with this... I've updated the BIOS in my template for a version 1.70, but this does not change I could easily noticed (or is he?)  :(

  In most cases applications can give you info on the hardware and the different settings but the temperature of the CPU in most cases is not visible. Toshiba has no tool or utility that can read or modify.

  BIOS update has absolutely no influence on it. Satellite M100 is one of the latest devices and I really don t understand why it is so important to you. Important in my opinion is the stability of the system, the operation of the equipment and no problem with the software you are using. Am I wrong?

  Sorry, I had to disappoint you, because some models have in effect of temperature sensor, but you can't read it because, as far as I know, the BIOS limited it!

  Check Device Manager if the sound card appears correctly and that the driver has been installed successfully.
  Then check the wheel for volume control on the left side.

  AFAIK the Soundfusion Audio application should be pre-installed on this laptop. You should find it in the control manager. There you can set up the speakers.

  The last possibility is to check the sounds and audio devices section you can find also in the control manager.
  Check that the 'secret' is not marked. Check all controllers (also advanced options) and try to put it at high level.
