S2716DG - don't wake up properly

I just this monitor, and one thing I noticed, is that he seems not to wake up properly.

If Windows (10) Decides to put all monitors to sleep, when they are supposed to be awake again (keyboard/mouse input) it didn't wake up properly.

In addition, when the monitor goes to sleep, Windows think it disconnects and rearranges the desktop computers.

The keyboard and mouse must be connected directly to the computer, and then test again.

Disable Deep sleep of the OSD (On Screen Display) - other and repeat the test.

  • P1606dn don't wake-up car for new print job

I have my printer is on my home network.  I use Mac computers.  I can print to the printer on the network of my three laptops more wireless, however, if the printer goes into sleep mode and I have send a new print job the printer don't wake auto.  To print, I have to manually turn on the printer, then it prints.  What is the solution to wake up off car for a new print job.  My old Brother printer would do that and it's maddening to have to go up the steps the Office to turn on the printer whenever I want to print.

    Hello

The auto power off feature completely disable the device until a print job come back on, however, this requires a direct USB connection.

For the network connection, you must disable the auto power off feature, the printer will always enter a power saving mode, but should be up and running once a being sent to throguh the network print job.

Follow the steps below to disable the automatic mode:

  • Black screen on Macbook - don't wake after sleep

I have a model mid-2009 13 "Macbook Pro which is been updated for the last OS. For the last two weeks, I had problems make him wake up once he starts in mode 'sleep'. It seems not important whether she goes to sleep because of the closure of the lid or inactivity, and it seems not important to know if she was in mode 'sleep' for a few hours or just enter the mode 'sleep'. I try to wake up by pressing a button, and the screen remains black. I finally have to press and hold the power button until I hear it powering down and then press the power button to turn it back on. Can I get the nice message that said "you shut down your computer because of a problem" when it loads up.

I know that the device is on when the screen is black because it makes the noise to stop when I am forced to stop it manually. And whenever he refuses to wake up from the black screen, there a lot of battery when it finally loads up after that I turned it off. If he pulled when he falls asleep, plug the charger when it does not react with the black screen does nothing no more. And this isn't a case of the lighting of the screen being turned all the way down - I've tried too, just to be sure.

I'd appreciate really any suggestion or help, because I have no idea what to do. He just started to happen suddenly, and since he started it happens almost every time my computer will sleep, what is super frustrating. I don't have not download anything new or modifications to the right until it all started, and it started before I've updated to El Capitan and continued since then, so I really don't know what the deal is...

  • A30 - 203 hibernating then don't "wake up!"

Have owned my A30-203 for 18 months without problem - last night I close the lid and left in hibernation as I often do. Came back about two hours later - lifted the lid - nothing. Usually, he wakes up and expects that a mouse click continue. Don't respond to ctrl-alt-del or all the essential features. Start button / stop did nothing no more. Had to disconnect the battery and the sector. Restored power and power key - machine referred to the point after hibernation! Machine also was locked - ignoring all the keystrokes at the keyboard and mouse clicks. Tried to delete the file "hiberfil.dat" of the file system in case it was corrupted - did not work. Problem remains. Have turned off the Hibernate function now. Machine has been locked up since. Have also noticed that the cooling fans seem to stay longer (and stronger) than before. Laptop is still covered by the warranty of Dixons Coverplan - but don't know if the issues I've already mentioned. Help!

    Hi adixon

I put t know how many times you use the hibernation mode, but my experience is that if you use the hibernation mode constantly, it can happen that the laptop is a little confused. I use the hibernation mode in my office after work, but from time to time, it is advisable to do a reboot or turn off the laptop.

I'm sure that there are no any kind of hardware malfunction. I don't force you to do that, but I also know this reinstallation of the operating system with recovery CD may solve your problem. Before take you to the service partner, try reinstalling the laptop only.

  • Photosmart D110: Photosmart D110 don't wake up

My HP printer will not wake up to print from my computer. If I restart the printer, I can print from my laptop. I can get one or two impressions, but if I wait a while he won't wake the printer to print. The printer is connected to my wifi.

Can I print using my hp ePrint. I can send by e-mail to the e-mail address and print at any time I want something. The printer always wakes up using this method. I need to be able to print from my laptop, so I can easily print several copies.

I already took the printer from the list of printers on my mac and reloaded it back on. Has nothing.

I have reset the factory settings on the printer and it rehooked up my wifi. That no longer works.

Well wish you asked first.   But in almost every case like yours (less than ten), I told the person to try a new router.   Anyway... so far, a new router has worked, but not from the same manufacturer.

I hate personally... uh... don't like the Linksys routers.  Too many problems.   I got lucky with Netgear and now TP Link.  DLink routers seem to have problem also.   ASUS seems to be good.  You don't need to spend a fortune, or about $ 100 million will work fine.

I had an HP printer 5514 for 3.5 years attached to a Netgear WNDR3400v2, static IP and my edits above and never lost the wifi.   The router started failure and restart by itself, so I have now a TP Link Archer C7 where I just Redid the settings manually, pulled up and connected everything correctly and remains connected.   The printer could not and now I have a Brother MFC - J870dw that I love more than any HP and it connects very well and remains connected.

In my experience, your mileage may vary.

  • don't wake up after hibernation at all

I have a Toshiba satallite running Vista Home and it went into hibernation and will not come out of it. I tried to remove the battery, release the battery died, each key on the keyboard while feeding system, any withdrawal of the laptop and trying to start it. I've been looking for days and tent everything to get it to you wake up with no luck. I have pluged to the top of each type of unit just waking and nothing. All I get is the power button lights up, housing starts of HD to go upward and the sleep icon will light up and the processor fan runs, but nothing else. It's a P305D-S8828.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi Jeff,

I think Sandeep is one proposed that there is a problem with your hard drive or the motherboard.
When you press the power button on your laptop you see anything on the screen? Are you able to get into the bios of your computer?
You will be able to check to see if the hard drive is still detected by the laptop in bios. If the drive has failed, it probably won't see the upstairs.

  • Suspend problems in mode: don't wake up from sleep

    Hello!

I just installed Windows 7 to my HTPC. Media Center is great!
But I have a problem. When I put my computer to sleep he wakes more. In fact it isn't even sleep properly. It seems that everything is turned off but the graphics card. There is no picture but the fan is screaming. He is unresponsive to the buttons of the mouse or the keyboard. Even the computer power button does not wake up or restart. All I can do is press the power button for a while to make the computer stop. I have a Logitech wireless set with PS/2 Sockets. I rechecked all power management settings already. In the BIOS are enabled all supports the ACPI and wake up PS/2 support. I can't understand how to fix it!

For this afternoon, I tested Ubuntu 9.10 and had similar problems there. In Windows XP sleep works very well, however.

    My transactional includes:
    AMD Athlon 3200 +.
    Asus A8V - XE motherboard
    Kingston 2GB DDR
    GF 8600 GT 256 MB
Seagate Barracuda SATA 250 GB (for BONES)
WD Caviar 750 GB SATA (for data)

Now, I found that it is the USB controller who refuses to go to sleep. There is a hidden feature in Windows 7 that you can use to find problems in the energy saving modes.

In the command prompt, give a command:
    powercfg-energy
and it will generate a report on the problems in your system. The report can be found at /Windows/System32/energy-report.html
My report has revealed that there are two or three USB host that cannot be suspended correctly. After disabled USB support in the BIOS of the system had no problem in sleep. Of course I can't use USB devices more.
Is there some kind of fix or tweak for Windows 7 USB drivers? Windows shows it has the latest drivers if I try to update.
My motherboard is Asus A8V - XE, and there Via K8T890 chipset.
    EDIT:
I found an answer on this thread: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7performance/thread/8059106b-21e2-4d17-bf2f-513a5b5d1d0b/
Apparently it wasn't a USB socket that wasn't able to sleep but a USB device. I had a USB Memory Stick and the infrared receiver plugged and after removing their sleep works very well.
  • Windows 8 don't wake from sleep - STANDING

Windows 8 will not light (dual monitor) monitors after sleep. It seems I'm not the only one with this problem. It worried me at first, but after a reboot, hard always came back. Last night I put my computer to sleep and press the keyboard by mistake, it will wake up before it was completely asleep. Uh oh I thought - I was right.

Now, I can't monitor to market. Not at all! I don't know how far I am in the process of starting. It seems that nothing supports usb but the lights do not turn on, on the wired keyboard. I'm getting a boot usb drive, but I think it's going to work. (I did not have a hard drive on a computer for 3 + years) Any help is appreciated. Overall, something like this happens because of sleep mode is ^ % (#* & #(% * ^ ridicule.)) His turning point as my car off the coast and the transmission blows up.

Also - no I did no changes. No new drivers, no deletion, everything is up-to-date. Perhaps there is a simple solution, I've forgotten, but I'm sure it's more serious... I still don't know what to think about windows 8, after months of daily use and an open mind to learning a new layout.

Also #2 - is more than a matter of monitor. I have configured to run at the start of TeamViewer, and I can't patch from another computer, so that my thought is that the computer is certainly not loaded on the desktop. Now, I think I'll check my network and see if it is still to obtain an IP address (probably not)

Apart from the usb boot disk, I let my computer sit for a few hours see if there is some type of hard drive hs BS error checking * before it starts perfectly. I'll post updates.

    Thank you all. Peace out.

BAM! Fixed. 99.9% sure that it was due to the abnormal termination. Thank you windows. Solution - clear rtc RAM (on motherboard) probably this is impossible on a dell or something. I don't know, I'm building my own computers and for work, I just buy a dell again when this * happens. Permanent solution - let my computer as if I had of the last decade, so much for trying to be green and save electricity 3cents.

  • Thunderbolt display don't wake up since I installed Sierra

I have a Mid-2012 13 "Macbook Pro with a Thunderbolt display. After that I installed MacOS Sierra, my screen often wakes up not when I hit the mouse or the keyboard. I can usually solve the problem by simply unplugging the display Plug and then plug it back it - very annoying. I searched for solutions to this problem on the web and tried everything to reset NVRAM and SMC, reset the display, memory even deleted some plist files obsolete, but the problem persists. Someone at - it similar problems, of the solutions.

    Same problem AGAIN!

This error has been there before after an update of macOS, seems he's back.

  • Satellite A300-15 b don't wake!

Well, I can go to sleep mode but the computer comes to wake up
I try everything and its just stays in mode 'sleep'
    What can I do?

    Thank you

This happened to my laptop a couple of times.

    To fix:

Remove the battery and the AC.
Remove or add a module of memory (you want to change the size of the memory).
Turn on the laptop, it should detect the change in the size of the memory and give an error failed to resume.
Turn off the laptop and replace the original in memory.
    Start normally.

  • Satellite don't wake up from sleep or hibernation when the lid is closed

It is a problem that I had with my laptop from the outset - if the laptop is in sleep or Hibernate mode and the lid is closed, or the lid is closed and will switch "standby" from there, it won't wake up or respond to the switch once again opened.

Even holding down the power button has no effect, the only way to turn it back on is to remove the battery, put it back and turn the phone back on, lose anything I had opened.

I fear that the laptop could be damaged by this, but there is no other way.
This isn't a problem with the settings of windows, I had the same problem with the function suspends in ubuntu.

Anyone had similar problems or know anything than either could have caused this?

What model of Satellite L do you have exactly?
What system is pre-installed? Have you tested this problem with laptop recovery fees?

BIOS is up to date? If it is not updated in the BIOS.
After update BIOS, set the default BIOS and test the features of the laptop.

    Your comments would be appreciated

  • HP OfficeJet 3830: 3830 HP wireless printer is offline in "sleep mode" and don't wake up to print

I've just set up a HP OfficeJet 3830 as a printer connected to my network wireless domestic (Airport Extreme Base Station router 802.11ac wireless). I was able to print-out of my MacBook, but when the printer goes into sleep mode, it appears offline and unresponsive to print. I have to restart the printer for her to appear online and respond. The printer will be in the basement, so it would be very inconvenient down to reboot just to print it. Kind of defeated the purpose of a wireless printer. I tried to disable the sleep mode to see if it works, but sleep mode settings cannot be disabled in the printer preferences. I already spent 3 hours to solve this problem.

I contacted HP technical support to solve the problem. The person told me restore default settings and then unplug the power to the printer and the router wireless for 30 seconds. After restarting the router, then the printer, we have connected the printer to the network with a static IP address. Who did the trick. Even if the printer is in "sleep" for several hours, it has not disappeared in offline mode, as it is done before. Problem solved for now. Hope this helps others.

  • Satellite A500-18 x - don't wake up from sleep mode

I've had this laptop for a little over a week and when it goes into mode 'sleep' trying to wake him up, all the lights on the keyboard lights up and I hear it works but the screen remains black. I updated display drivers and that fixed it for a few days but now it stopped working again. updated audio drivers would force it to not wake from sleep mode kos that he worked well, since I've updated the display driver and then yesterday I updated audio drivers and he returned to not wake up once again in mode 'sleep'. any help much apreciated.

Updated the BIOS and update the driver to display again.
Maybe the after the audio driver that something was wrong, you can clean the registry using CCleaner in most of the cases it s a good idea.
