SA50-122 / intel BG2200 - no found Access Point

Hi all

I have a Satellite SA50-122 with a processor intel BG2200 access WLAN chipset. When I started the book the first time clean windows software WLAN does not detect any access point. After you have installed the latest available suite intel (Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection - 9.0.2.0) this has worked excelent!

(Note: intel sw now WLAN Management)

But now, after a few weeks, it no longer works...

I tried to do a repair installation, have uninstalled the intel SW, installed the latest version (9.0.2.1) again and again, but without success!

:-(

Someone there simular problems and have some tips on what caused it?

Thanks in advance,
Peter

I just try to run internet with the internal PRO INTEL BG 2200 wireless card.
The driver version is just updated to 9.0.4.39. The problem is, I can't find any wireless access point.

I also use a D-Link card, with this card, I found the available access points. What could be the problem with the INTEL PRO card. I'm sitting right next to the router/hub.

Also, I thought that I might need to activate the wireless with additional keys Fn function, but they do not work, I guess. Maybe I need a driver for this tool also. Do anyone know where I can find drivers to use the Fn keys?

For me, it seems that the WiFi network is not enabled.
Usually, you need to activate the WLan switch which is placed on the side of the laptop. Then, you'd see an active WLan led.
If you n t see the light, then the WiFi network has not been activated.

In addition, choose the WLAN using FN + F8!
You can also activate the Wlan in Device Manager-> card Wlan-> properties-> Advanced tab.

    Hello

Problem solved. Of wire antennas was not of all attached to the card and the other it has established relationships by chance. It took me 3/4 of an hour to turn off the battery, remove the keyboard, attach wires to the NIC (quite difficult due to lack of space) and put it all together. Then everything worked fine.

  • My Airport Time Capsule can act as a WIRELESS access point

    Hello.

I brought a Time Capsule with my Mac Pro. It worked well since yesterday.

I have set up the time Capsule as a WIFI, bypass at my local network access point. There is a router (cable) works at home.

It's my Mac Pro AirPort Utility and my iPhone, my Time Capsule is displayed with an exclamation point saying "device not found". I can't connect to the disk on this subject by afp share, or smb. Time Machine function is gone too. He failed trying to connect to the share drive from another computer connected to the time Capsule by cable network.

But at the same time, WiFi works well.

I tried to recycle energy. Sharing disk will be available. But if I start the Time Machine backup, it will not be a few seconds.

    Any idea?

    Thank you.

There are several posts here related the issue.

Luckily, you have set up your new Time Capsule for Back to My Mac (BTMM)?

If so, the 'temporary' solution is to delete/disable the option of the CCMM, as follows:

    • Run the AirPort Utility.
    • Select the base and then station, select change.
    • On the tab of the Base Station, go back to the section of my Mac at the bottom of the window.
    • If you have entries here, select it and click then the minus sign "-" button to remove it.
    • Click on update and allow the base station restart.

If you have not enabled CCMM, we have other options for you to try.

I updated the drivers from v7.7.0.288.0. It's the latest and probably the last pilot found in archive of drivers for the A200 support.

    4. share the internet connection button.
5 allow to other users on the network to use my internet

Everything is simple and straightforward but my Android smartphones don't detect access point.
    So what is the fault?

Driver details dated 03/09/2009 in the Page of Support Toshiba informed that the update of the wireless Lan driver is to 'connect to your wireless access Point or to another PC wireless using your wireless network card.

  • Satellite M70: I can't connect to the WLan access point

I have several wireless laptops, all work fine - except my M70.
I use Intel Proset, and he sees the access point, but says "unable to connect" when I try.
The signal is high (2 meters distance).

I tried with WEP, WPA and without security. I am absolutely convinced that I entered the right keys.
The access point is a Belkin Pre - N-, but I tried with a point of access 3Com, with the same problem - my Ipaq, my other PC, and all guests can connect,- but not my Toshiba!
The wireless card is the standard Intel, with the latest driver from October 2006 intalled.

    Getting desperate...

    Hello

If you get a signal strong, so I guess that the laptop is already connected to the access point. Or am I wrong?
On my laptop, the computer WLan small icon appears only if I connected to the Wlan and then I can see the State of the signal.

However, you suggested to use the Intel Proset utility to configure the WiFi network but on the clean Windows configuration. Have you tested it?

This question seems very strange to me.
Sometimes it of not possible to connect the WiFi network because of poor compatibility between the router and wireless network card.
My router supports Wlan AB mode and my second card for computer laptop support BG.
That's why I m not able to connect to the Wlan. Maybe it s also your case.

On my router, I can also put the MAC address filtering. You should check this option on your router.
But generally it is not easy to say why it happens. You know you should check every single option and if it s not possible so I guess that it s a compatibility issue.

  • Unable to create an access point to edge MyRIO

    Hello!

Today I'm trying to follow this white paper (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/373925B-01/myriohelp/myrio_creating_wireless_networks/) to make my MyRIO Board as access point.

I tried with the Interface of MAX but when I tried to access the network settings on the Board of Directors, he doesn't show me an infinite spinner with writing something like "network card search...". "(Translation of my poor french"search of NIC in progress... »). instead of the menu on the first image at this link http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/627507F4737474F286257CB4007984C6.

I said I can't do any operation on the interface wlan0 via SSH (no message such as unknown interface wlan0) and the proxy of my company block access to the web configuration of the network card...

But the main problem is this infinite cone. Why?

    Please help guys...

    Thank you to everyone.

    Afghow.

    Hi afghow,

The message "no network adapter found" could be the result of:

    -Bad IP configuration.

What is your computer IP address and the cRIO one? (you use DHCP or static?)

    -A problem with your firewall

Have you tried disabling your firewall in order to access the parameters of myRIO?

  • PS B110a - wireless configuration will fail if the network has multiple access points

Photosmart B110a (CN245B) wireless AIO printer.

This should not be a problem.  I have a B110 (and another 10 or so HP wireless printers) on a network of airports with 5 access points and they just connect.

    Here are a few suggestions:

    1. don't use WEP - use WPA or WPA2 with a 13 + character password.

    2. enable the SSID broadcast on all access points

    3. do not use the MAC filtering acddress

    4. make sure "AP isolation" or "isolated wireless" is disabled.

    5. make sure that you are not on a private network, virtual, or connected to your network of comments.

    6. If different strings on access points do not work, try the same channel.

  • Access Point WRT1900AC & Firmware version: 1.1.10.167514, it cannot be accessed the config page.

    Hello!

I am a new user of router dual-band WRT1900AC . The installation has been updated instantly to
    Firmware version: 1.1.10.167514
    Release date: June 30, 2015

My WRT1900AC is configured as a wireless gateway.

    https://community.Linksys.com/T5/wireless-routers/WRT1900AC-as-wireless-access-point/TD-p/847286

Also, I have disabled firewall and uPnP.
    A tutorial here:

    http://www.Linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=140371

Everything works except that without access to the router config page.

The problem is, I can't access my page to config WRT1900AC Wireless Access Point and the only solution is to connect temporary exit HAND ROUTER LAN to WAN WRT1900AC, can I access my AP

(after restart of course). Change after I return the cable to the LAN again and restart WRT1900AC. This works.

Yesterday, I spoke with live chat. I received recommendations:
"Once the router is configured to bridge fashion, page configuration accessible only using its new IP address. The new IP address can be found on the main router DHCP table. It is because only in LAN - LAN, the

WRT1900AC will be his disabled DHCP. »

I also saw Table of customer routers main DHCP but I have not found the IP address of my wireless WRT1900AC Access Point there. I think it is a bug in the version of the Firmware: 1.1.10.167514
Page config in the case of WRT1900AC Wireless Access Point is isolated or possible only thanks to the WAN WRT1900AC. It would be nice if someone confirms that and maybe in the next version of

fix. :-) I have a beautiful smartphone App "Smart Wi - Fi" and I can not comfortably use it due to this error/bug.
Otherwise everything works well and stably.

If I leave the cables as you suggest (hand router LAN to WAN WRT1900AC), the Internet does not work. In this case go to the config page, but Internet with other devices will not work. Also good Wifi, it works but can not access. How to set the Bridge Mode? (I think this is my problem in this scenario)

IP address of the router (LAN):

Connectivity-online-online details router LAN => Edit

    * If your main router IP subnet example is 192.168.0.x, then set the address of the WRT1900AC IP to an IP outside the range of the main router DHCP. Ex: 192.168.0.2

    Bridge mode:
    Connectivity-online Internet-online IPv4 settings => Edit-online Bridge Mode
