Safari does not load some sites

I just got a brand new iMac 27 "and after a few weeks, Safari seems not to want to take care of some sites, Wordpress.com in particular and now Google Mail, Twitter, the blue loading bar in the area address gets about a quarter of the responsible way and then stops. All sites that will not be in Safari will be load in Chrome and Safari on iPhone.

    Hello

Safe Mode boot removes the system caches that can help after upgrading to a new OS X.

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

Then try Safari. I hope that the Finder cannot quit unexpectedly or the other.

Hi everyone, it has been so long that I tried to solve my problem on Safari.

Let me explain what happens: when I wake my Mac, some site not loading, including Youtube, Facebook and Google until I

-Close the Safari window and open a new

-Wait at least a minute or two

-Spam the shortcut for refresh up to what a "page not found" error.

I tried all explained in this or other forums and do these things:

-Reinstall the operating system (but keeping my data)

    -Restore with a Time Capsule

-Open the terminal and type these commands:

    -Fixed permissions and owner

    sudo find ~ $TMPDIR... - exec chflags h nouchg, nouappnd, noschg, nosappnd {} - exec chown () $UID h - exec chmod + rw {} + - exec chmod () n h ++ - type d - exec chmod h + x {} + 2 > & -.

I am so angry with my computer because I paid 1.5 k for a computer that is not able to make the task easier for a modern computer. Even a €50 computer has embedded software that can handle a resume from sleep without having to restart the entire software... Imagine if you had to do it on your iPhone, you will eventually get a refund within a week or less because it is not normal in 2015 to have this kind of problem. I hope that I have no problem with safari on my 6s and I don't plan to spend my browser because Safari is part of the Apple ecosystem and have the perfect sync and battery management.

So I need to get this fixed a problem and I really need your help because a lot of people had this problem on the internet, but NEVER seen someone who explained how it happened is the correction of a problem. My Mac running the latest version of the software which is 11.2 starting today.

  • Safari does not load pages first

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro Mid 2010, with El Capitan, Safari 9.0.2. There is problem of loading web pages. Sometimes Safari load Facebook, YouTube or this community of support immediately. But very often it does not load for the first time, I have to open new tab and try again, then new tab and try again and maybe the fourth fifth time charges. Or it load the web page after a long time.

The loading bar stops right in the Middle, or I get the message that something is wrong and page cannot be loaded. This also happens when I type something into the address bar and try google the keyword. It is not just probably load in 5 of the 10 cases. It's really frustrating, because Firefox just load the web pages without any problems. On my iPad and iPhone Safari works perfectly smooth. I do not plug-ins except Adblock.

I do not plug-ins except Adblock.

Please, disable it and see if there is an improvement.

  • Safari does not load http, apps don't work on 10.11.4

I've just updated to 10.11.4 and Safari opens not all http, https only pages. In addition, some of the apps like Dropbox and vk e-mail client do not work.

App Store will load all of the images and I can't download apps: 'connection lost '. Any thoughts?

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

  • Could not load some site

    Hello

I'm new to Mac and used the iMac for 4 months.

Starting yesterday I noticed that some site are no load, while others are very well.

I tried it with Safari and Chrome, and the result is the same.

However if I restart in safe mode these Web site would work.

If I reboot and return to normal mode, these site not load again.

For Internet connection, I tried the cable and wifi and no difference.

On the same network, I have another iPad and has no problem to access the same Web site.

Tried with App Store, some graphs also have problems to load and some display a question mark.

Welcome any comments or advice on the probable cause of the issue and how it can be solved.

Me too same, same case! iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Same problem after upgrade-> Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and App Store

I realease 1--> only HTTPS works very well but accident of HTTP

BTW, all internet applications work fine, I mean, if I use FTP (filezilla) work very well, if I use another app with internet connection WORKS FINE

    Only browsers in HTTP

    It s a shame

  • New tab does not display some sites, but nothing.

When I open a new tab, it does not display the usual sites, but it shows just a white screen. Only the search bars and icons are displayed. It is not also a gear in the top right.

Hi, try this: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.url and make sure that 'Value' is defined Subject: newtab (click right to change, if necessary, by taking care of not to change what anyone else).

If this is not successful or if it changes, to try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • Blocker in Safari content does not load Web site

Today, for the first time, Safari 9.0.3 will not connect me to Ancestry.com.  I checked all the preferences of Safari and nothing seems out of the ordinary.  Finally, looking at the console in Safari > menu to develop, I can see that a content Blocker will not Ancestry.com load.  How can I fix it?

Check your third-party plug-ins extensions Safari and here.

  • Firefox does not load the sites, google, or facebook

It is extremely frustrating and has happened for months. Sometimes the loading sites, but then stop working after a few minutes, and then it's almost impossible to get load them again. It hangs just to "connecting" for always, until it's time out or everything just goes to a blank tab. Other sites work, but whatever it is Google associated with such as search, gmail, finance, etc., or Facebook simply do not work.

It seems that it is a common recurring problem every 6 months or so according to this Council. I tried to delete the cookies/cash and then even reset Firefox and it still happens. Any suggestions to fix this?

    Thank you very much!

    Jeremy

Try disabling IPv6 (check out the other suggestions as well):

  • Firefox will not load some sites Web but IE

After the upgrade to 29 FF, I can't access the addons and several other pages.

Going to addons.mozilla.org or clicking the addons button gives me a bulleted links list.

Try to download an add-on just says "download error".

I can go to addons.mozilla.org in Internet Explorer and download and install manually without any problems.

I deleted the cache and cookies several times and reset the proxy votes to zero.

I watched: config and there was no line xpinstall.enabled so I added it as a boolean type.

I ran malwarebytes and it found nothing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The site modules use these stylesheet:

Can load you those directly (if it just look like a bunch of text all run together), or you get an error?

If those loading and you and then refresh the page modules, it get a style correctly?

  • FF does not load my site menu

My site has a menu, other users can see except me, even I can look with the 1. another computer, 2. another browser

I already tried to uninstall firefox and downloaded a fresh new and installed, I still don't see the menu.

    What happened to my computer/firefox?

    Thank you.

You can delete all stored data with a specific area through "Forget this Site" from the context menu of the history entry (see the history or the history sidebar) or via the subject: permissions page.

With the help of "Forget this Site" will delete everything as bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions in this area, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose so take note of these passwords and bookmarks.

You can't recover from which "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.

It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.
