The New York TIMES page too large to fit on the screen printing
don't know if foxfire is the right person to ask. Page and printing of the New York TIMES, I want to read is so big he used to "adapted to the screen and I have to continue to use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to move forward and backward." Tried to reduce it but in my inexperience, I can't seem to get there.

The site of the New York Times is the only site because of Firefox to experience this extreme slowness. Firefox update made no difference. To view the website of times without slow, I had to add the site to the blacklist of the JavaScript to YesScript 2.0, but this, of course, disable many features of JavaScript on the site.
Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player and turn off protected in Flash drive mode

I called the New York Times, and they said that they had several people with the same complaint. I did not have this problem before today. Normally, I recognized when I go on the site and do not have to connect at all. Today, I was not recognized and when I tried to connect, it says that there is an unspecified error and wouldn't let me open a session.

Break Bar show in the new update (how do mobile Web site)
Since the update to the new face, I don't see how to create the mobile site. The three icons (desktop, tablet, mobile) are gone from the PLAN page. I realize it's now done with page breaks and watched the tutorial but Muse does not display the BREAKING bar. I have checked in the windows tab and do not seem to see it. Anyone having this problem? How can I activate the break bar?
Don't panic! The 'adaptive' layouts are always there, and you can even combine them with sensitive pages. But the Muse team thought that it would be confusing for beginning users, have these buttons according to Plan too much in view as well. So they kind of them hidden under the menu of Page : Add an Alternative layout. Once you have added one, the buttons will appear again in your Plan of view also.

The New York TIMES link no longer works in Firefox
Anyone has an idea why my NYT subscription works in Firefox is no longer but works fine in other browsers? When I try to log in, it takes me a message that says:
"Firefox has detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will never end."
Can I do to solve this problem? Thank you.
This may indicate a problem with the cookies that NYTimes has stored in Firefox. We're may be damaged or outdated information could be mixed with current information.
I suggest to delete your cookies for the site. If you can view any page on the site, try one of these:
- Right click and select View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
- ALT + t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
- Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".
In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.
Then try to reload the page and sign in again. Any improvement?
In some cases, changes in parameters or modules improving privacy protection can block certain information that the site requires. If just clear cookies and accept the new does not resolve the problem of redirection, it could be one of the following problems:
- "Cookies third party" blocked
- Blocked Referer header

Web sites like murraystivoli.com that display the facebook and twitter icons and in particular the new Yahoo Mail interface fail to display the icons. I see only a small rectangle. On Yahoo Mail, there are a few inside but instead it should be the display arrows, images of envelopes or as medium icons or 'send '. The new interface is useless without correct icon translation - can not see the arrows for 'reply' 'reply to all '. It works on Internet Explore on Vista; It works on Firefox on Windows XP (it's the way back level) then why do we see this problem with Vista and Firefox update (we 24.0 but saw problems on websites that I don't care that much about other levels of Firefox also.)
Help, please!
Same problem here... I have no icons or tick boxes at all in Yahoo mail and it affects a good few other sites too, just small square boxes with numbers inside. It's really annoying!
Here's what it looks like (you may need to zoom in a bit)...

Very recently, my Firefox has changed. I used to be able to start typing, say, 'www.google.com' in my location toolbar window. This would provide a drop-down list of recent sites, and I just click the line "www.google.com". Firefox would immediately take me to this Web site with a single click.
But now if I click on the line 'www.google.com', it simply puts "www.google.com" in the location toolbar window, do not send me to google. I have to press the arrow to the right of the address bar to go to the page of google.
Thus, something changed last week - maybe a setting has updated? I looked at the options page and can't seem to find something that applies.
Hello
Please check if this happens in Safe Mode.

Here is a link to the article:
According to this, Firefox can be infected and typical of virus/malware programs are not effective to deal with the problem because blocking them malware.
I was looking for an alert or specific discussion.
Hello, it is probably important to add that this malware is spread using a vulnerability in chrome or firefox but by social engineering and by encouraging users to install malware under a false pretext. that in itself is not something unusual and happens all over the web all the time - the vector of infection seems to be very effective, however, since you are more likely to install something from one of your social contacts from a site randomly (which could claim a download is necessary because it lacks a plugin or by impostoring false update notice).
If it really is only hanging in firefox as an add-on it should be fairly easy to remove - just press the SHIFT key while lance firefox to access safe mode, go to firefox > addons > extensions and delete something that seems suspicious and you have not added manually: Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems
If your system has been compromised, it is also important to change all your stored passwords...

Edit: the addon in question has already blocked by mozilla: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/blocked/i444

He looked a few days ago. Using an iMac 27 inches, 10.8.5, 28.0 Firefox running.
I had the same NYT years account and I got disconnected somehow. When I try to read a story or a sign on my account via the home page (upper right corner sign in button) I simply redirected to the home page with the same sign in button, normally it displays your user name. I tried everything erase the cache, cookies and a full and clean re - install, twice. I called the New York TIMES, and they are totally perplexed. Computer is protected by a firewall and antivirused, no viruses known etc...
Any ideas out there? Thank you!
Thanks for the reply.
I solved the problem. It turns out that there was a problem with my anti-virus software, which involved a filter cookies that had to be put off. DOH!

Original title: local/temp folder files
It is usually safe to remove items from the user / local/temp file? I want to free up space.
Clean the system (compensation to all temp/tmp folders and included all the content offline, the tif browser, delete the cookies of compensation.)
Do a disk cleanup. Click the Start button. in the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.
Delete your temp files where a large number of software malware installers cache and or CCleaner for a more thorough cleaning.
Download the basic version (slim) via

The basic version (slim) does not contain the toolbar disgusted
Cleaning DO NOT USE ANY Advanced options. DO NOT TOUCH THE REGISTRY OR TOOLS. At least not for now.

Retrieve items from the Recycle Bin?
OK, so I'm a newbie in this thing whole smartphone? Just got my Droid X last Friday and always try to understand everything - it's a bit overwhelming!
I tried to drag something from one home to another screen (easier said than done) and I accidentally threw it in the trash CAN. (I'm not sure that the app was, but it looked a little like a media player).
Is it possible to retrieve items from the Recycle Bin? I can't find any info on the trash anywhere.
BTW - I tried to go to the application menu and pressing applications to reinstall, but, again, I don't know yet what app it was!
Thanks for the help!
BubbaCat wrote:Ok, could have been. But how do I get it back on the home screen? I've tried holding down on the screen until the menu pops up, select Motorola Widgets, and then select photo slide show. But it doesn't install a widget on the home screen. It just takes me into the gallery. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe there is another way??
No, it's not as intuitive as it could be. You are on the right track. When you enter in your gallery, select an image. Which end the putting in place and he must then take you back to the home screen where your widget must be loaded. Good comments!
