  Four things are needed for the transparent icon backgrounds:

  (1) Control Panel > system properties > advanced > Performance settings > VisualEffects - check "use shadows for icon labels.
  (2) make a right click on desktop-> rearrange icons by > lock Web items must be deleted.
  (3) If you have any web content on your desktop, transparency won't work. To search for web content: display properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web - make sure that all check boxes are clear.
  (4) wallpaper must be an image file, not html. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  My daughter has used Adobe CS4 Premium including Acrobat 9 Pro on a laptop so far. He has worked with Mac OS 10.10. and also with 10.11.1 without restriction. Also the regular updates worked fine.

  Today it again and get the following message was confusing... "The license for this product no longer works."

  In my AdobeID account nor in him is Adobe CS4 or Acrobat listed as product?

• Adobe Flash Player with Safari update problem

  I'm trying to update Adobe Flash Player using Safari on a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.10.1 but whenever I have to download the update file looks like this:

  I tried several different download links, but non of them work. I also uninstalled Adobe Flash Player and tried to reinstall it, but then I have the same problem. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thank you!

  For some reason I have yet to determine, people with Matlab installed beginning to .mdlp extensions added to their downloaded files.  That's what happened here.  Rename the file to remove .mdlp (while it ends in .dmg), and then double-click the file and it should work.

  my site appears a bit correctly on IE. However, my BIG problem is with safari. When I go to view my site on safari the only page that appears is the homepage which has a .html extension. All other pages have the .dwt extension, so when I go to see it in safari all it shows is incorrect and all I see is the encoding of the page.

The three fields are accessible via the click of a mouse when you use IE, however if I use Firefox or Safari the 'email' field will not allow access via mouse click, only the tab button.
