  No, you cannot use a standard drink as a 'server' Windows operating system computer and have it force the settings for the other computers on your network.  To do this you would need a server, run a real server OS and use a domain Active Directory to push the settings to your PC.

  The first person who responded to your question is basically asking what type of router you have because some routers do not have the ability to block websites in the router, which would mean that no PC inside your network could get on the list Black/blocked sites.  You would need capabilities of your router to see if this is possible or not research.

  Have you checked by accessing the site blocked in the child's account to see if it's blocked or not?

  Safe family activity reports will include sites that are visited but blocked. Also, sites that was redirected from other sites, or use a feature of this site (such as the Facebook Like function and share) will add also upward to the activity report.

  I suggest you to check by accessing the Web site of the child's account. Also, make sure that the child's account does not use proxy connections.

  You can also update the family safety filter and check the results.

  I'm block a site, but I don't want this message poster "Web Site blocked by Netgear firewall" its too visible especially when I'm at home, the person knows I blocked the site using my R7000 but I don't want the person to access the site, I don't speak of pornographic sites.

  What happened to have a blank web page, redirect to another site or better to make your own block message.

  Much of the time, it's because of content filtering HTTPS, this feature via known IP addresses blocks. Please use DPI - SSL to ensure a more precise blocking traffic.

• Can I block Web sites or prevent the ads pop up app on Firefox mobile?

  I started recently affected by ads unwanted app on my phone Nexus 4. Firefox automatically opens when I unlock my phone or at other times (he cannot pin down to a single application... Seems random) and displays the ads games or applications, the most common being Uber (ubermeasure). The back button gets me a URL that appears to be a marketing 3rd party site. Is there a way I can block this site or sites of ads?

• Blocker in Safari content does not load Web site

  Today, for the first time, Safari 9.0.3 will not connect me to Ancestry.com.  I checked all the preferences of Safari and nothing seems out of the ordinary.  Finally, looking at the console in Safari > menu to develop, I can see that a content Blocker will not Ancestry.com load.  How can I fix it?

• Uninstall avast, but still blocked Web sites

  Hello, I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help out me.

  So I had installed Avast antivirus free (2015) on my macbook (2014, with OS X Yosemite) and it has messed up my computer. He made sure that several of my sites that I often browse have been blocked, so I deleted the application using AppCleaner and manually deleted a load of documents and parcels connected to my computer avast. In hindsight I probably should have made use of uninstall, but I only discovered it was an uninstall program after I deleted the application. Now even more sites in my browser are blocked and are not accessible in some way. I looked in my system to see if there was still avast documents, but I can't find, and I am at a loss. Fortunately, I have an ipad, so I can make up with her, but it's a nuisance.

  I tried many things to get my browsers working again: reinstall the app, so I can uninstall it correctly (does not allow me to install, because it cannot establish a connection with the server), rummage through my files (library/launchdaemon, library/applications etc.) for the rest of the files to delete, turn on/off my firewall and turn my computer avast.

• Safari crashes when scrolling of Web sites in El Capitan

  21.5 inch 2010 Mac, 4 GB of memory;  El Capitan OSX.  Safari crashes - or rather the computer freezes up - every night - always while scrolling sports sites.  Any thoughts?  Thank you!  (all updated software to update...)

  Maybe a few things. Too many tabs Xtreme, badly written websites, too many videos at once, etc.

  Hi this just started happening about a week ago.

  Basically I would like to be logged in to my accounts on all my sites, and then after a few days I open safari and discover that I was disconnected from each other. I would then connect to my accounts again I go to each site, but then a few days later, I'd be all disconnected again.

  I'm not sure what the problem is, so any help would be appreciated.

  Do you share your Mac with someone else or someone else has access? If you they you remove history to prevent you to see what they are doing, it will remove cookies as well, which in many cases is that you connected.

  When I connect to my Chase account using 1Password, I get the message "Safari cannot open the page because the server has quit unexpectedly the connection, try again later".

  I called Chase, their system is working normally. I rebooted the computer twice, I have tried for 3 days now.

  I went to Safari/Preferences, deleted cookies etc. All to nothing does not.

  Ideas?
