SanDisk Ultra 32 GB class 6 (20 MB/s) SDHC Memory Card

Hello;

The playback speed is about 18 MB/s, but the write speed of the peaks at about 7 MB/s using H2testw 1.4 in a card reader internal / writer (Windows 7 x 64, 12-core processor).

Is this normal for this category of cards?

Thank you.

"These powerful cards with files large, right?

That's what my tests showed. To see this in the extreme, I backed up my favorites to a flash memory card. I have a lot of favorites on my pc. Each file is less than 1 000 bytes. I think that speed when the backup of a large number of them has less than 1 Mbps, while safeguarding the files with the same configuration was more than 7 MB/sec.

Make sure that you are pressing far enough. It will not be flush with the edge of the device; It is accidental ejection/loss of the microSD card. You may need to use your nail, on a credit card, or small flat-head screwdriver. (I can do that easily with a fingernail and mine are short, but others have reported that it is a little challenging).

  • SanDisk ultra II 480 GB ssd update for macbook pro 2009 (5.4)

Hi, this is not a question but just some information that I wanted to let down as I was cultural for this search but could not find any info anywhere here or elsewhere online...

My 6 year old, 250GB internal hard drive died and I decided to replace it with an ssd, after looking at all the options and additional information about compatibility issues, problems of crash/stand etc. I decided (without a clue and fingers crossed) with the sandisk ultra II ssd 480 GB

So far so good, the mac works amazingly fast, no el capitan osx installation problems and no problems with SATA speed negotiation, turns the 3gps. It is like having a brand new computer!

    Conclusion: upgrade 100% recommended

I recently took a similar decision for my Mac Pro Tower silver server, install two 960GB SSD of this manufacturer (Sandisk).

The SATA 3 G bps Bus SATA Mac's limits you to a maximum of about 375 M bytes/second. Although this is a little slower than maximum speed than the SSD applications (on the order of about 500 cases of best M bytes/s), it is still fast enough.

Improving the speed on a rotating disk is so great, it is certainly useful.

Make sure that you activate the TRIM on your SSD. If ongoing 10.10.4 or later, you can use the Terminal command:

    sudo trimforce enable

(your password is not included, you will be notified that it is serious, and a reboot will be once the TRIM is activated).

  • MacBook Pro and SanDisk Ultra II 960 GB does not

I bought two SSDs to 960GB SanDisk Ultra II for installation in a Late 2009 27 inch iMac and a MacBook Pro mid-2012. I could absolutely not anything other than a white screen on the 27-inch. I could get the external computer to boot via USB, but when it is plugged in SATA, it wouldn't start. OWC had a few caveats on the NVidia SATA bargaining chips down to a 1.5GBs of speed when you try to bind to a 6 G drive. I replaced it with an Electra OWC 3 G Reader (which worked perfectly). I returned the unopened SSD.

My next goal is to enter the SSD in the MBP. He chips Intel SATA and is not supposed to have bizarre problems. Once again, I have installed the operating system and started via the USB port, no problems. It does not start when installed internally via SATA. If I drill the old HD, it starts immediately. The SSD makes a folder with one? in the middle.

I have repartioned the reader for Mac. I also tried to clone with all disk utility, same result. I guess I could try SuperDuper or clone of carbon. I just installed another OWC drive in an other iMac and used disk cloning utility, and it worked perfectly.

I wish that I had bought the OWC drive now, but I'm stuck with this open disk and I would like to make it work. Has anyone else had problems? I think that the drive is bad, but when in a dock player, it works very well and will start the computer via USB.

When the SSDS was to the iMac 27 inches, she would not even allow the target disk mode, ot any source of start-up. I really thought that the video card was defective at first, but this player has been creating chaos.

All the words of wisdom are welcome.

To make a long story short, it's the SATA cable. The computer would boot from a classic HD so I thouhgt the SATA cable was OK.  Apparently, when these cables fail, they can operate at low speed, but there still may not work at all in trying to negotiate a connection with a 6 G SSD speeds. I also noticed that with the wrong cable, the link negotiated with the convnetional reader speed was 1.5 Gbit/s which was lower than expected. I replaced the cable of a reputable vendor and I got another job of SSD. I think the SanDisk that I ended up returning was really beautiful AND compatible.

I was clued in after a brand that I know with certainty was compatible would not work either. PowerBookMedic sells relaible cables. "cheap" replacements are not recommended.

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • SanDisk Ultra II - write errors

I recently bought 2 240 gb Ultra II.  My intention is to use for the image of my C disk cloning.

    I use one

Upgrade of the SATA Apricorn EZ Upgrade Kit with USB 3.0 portable hard drive connection and box EZ - UP3

Link to the device google foregoing and check on Amazon

I used this camera for about three years now, once a week to make backups of the system.

After I clone a drive, I start since it to check that it has been cloned successfully.

I used this camera to try to clone both Ultra II and during the cloning process, I received more 20 000 clerical errors.

Since I had that much erors he didn't continue the clone so I abandoned the operation.

When I go in to Win 8.1 disk management, the drive is marked as offline and I can't reformat the hard disk.

The two drives have the same problem.

I contacted Sandisk for an RMA for the two days of readers 3 or 4 number and their response so far has been for me

to run their SSD Sandisk dashboard.  The dashboard shows readers as well without error.  I sent the

results of Sandisk and have done a few more tests.

It seems that if the SSD is in an external case connected to the USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port

the cloning process gets thousands of clerical errors.  If I put the same SSD in a drive removable bay that

connects directly to the motherboard I can clone the drive with Acronis True Image Home.

The SSD should be able tobe used external fences to run a cloning process.

I use the exact same system and closing to clone of OCZ, Crucial, Kingston, Intel, and Samsung

SSD with absolutely no write errors.

Is that what anyone has experienced this type of behavior when cloning the device above.

I spent several hours working on this issue and I'm about to return the SSD to the seller

I bought source and buy 2 Samsung SSD

    Thioughts and suggestion please.

I just finished an operation clone with the new USB 3.0 controller.

The clone operation completed without error.

I didn't test with a SanDisk Ultra II SSD since RMA I got them to the seller to purchase.

I have test it with a SanDisk Ultra flash drive, that would give me a "failed to start' in any USB 3.0 port.

Now, however, with the new controller, flash drives are recognized and insert correctly.

I guess that the controller card is outdated since it was 5 years or more and who

the new controller card will work correctly with the SanDisk Ultra II SSD.

I will consdier this thread resolved.  If no new problems with the new controller I will present.

  • SanDisk Ultra Drive Letter missing problem

Did a search but don't seem to find something that fits to my problem. I have several Sandisk Ultra USB flash drives, for most versions of 16 GB with a 32 GB version and for some strange reason, whenever I have insert in a Windows computer (Windows 7 and Windows 10) they fail to come up with a drive letter. Instead, I have to go to computer management > disk management > change drive letter and paths and assign a (usually E) drive letter to the Ultra drive to be install in Windows every time.

I have many other readers flash including Sandisk Cruzers who do not exhibit this problem. There is always a drive letter assigned whenever they are inserted into a Windows computer.

Is there a cause for this problem?

Is there one alternative to having to assign a drive letter to each time I insert the Ultra flash player?

    Ed_P wrote:

Assignment of the different drive letters to each different drive, IE the more different 16 GB for the 32 GB ones, should help. I have some of my own assigned to S: and T: to deviate the other random readers.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried that on the Ultra drive (five of them) and it did not work. Each of them has been assigned their own drive letter but would not come up with a drive letter, so that other readers not Ultra would rise with the drive letters.

What seemed to have worked was to access the 'diskpart' execute the command, and then run the following command: automount enable

Then when the Ultra drives were inserted, they came up with a drive letter from the first drive letter not in use on the system.

  • SanDisk Ultra Plus, I have some concerns and Questions

Well, I bought this at Wal-Mart todayanDisk adapters Ultra Plus SAFE-1 card with adapter (SDSDQUIP - 064 G-AW46).

First of all, I can't find this card anywhere, and even though I bought it at a Wal-Mart, is not on the website here either.

And I didn't buy the last one either.

When I look on this site for it, the closest I can find to him is the SanDisk Extreme.

    The SanDisk Extreme has:

    • Playback speed: up to 80 MB/s
    • Write speed: up to 50 MB/s
    • I say this, this is the card that I buy a speed up to 80 MB/s * 533 X.

And the UHS-1 card with adapter SanDisk Ultra Plus adapters:

    • Playback speed: up to 48 MB/s

This card would have extreme firmware more about it?

Or is it a special edition?

Here is a reference of Crystal disc brand I did on this topic until I put it in my LG G4.

in this case you can't find not the new version of the ultra card on the sandisk Web site because the site was not being updated yet, however the 80 MB/s is the most recent map version and the far more with 80 MB / s is the previous version of the map.

  • SanDisk Ultra 64 GB ask me to put in shape for GOPRO Hero 3 Black

    Hi all

I have a GOPRO Hero 3 Black, I bought SanDisk Ultra 64 GB and install it in the camera and took the shots and video,

now when I try to connect to a PC, it askes format me the drive I want.

How can I track my files before or without formatting?

My dear, I found the solution to this problem, it is written on the site of the GOPRO.

normal Windows do not read exFAT format which comes with the 64 GB, so you will need to update the system files on the windows site Formate and it will work without even formating your card.

  • SanDisk ultra fit 128 GB of low size, slow and defective

I just bought 3 USB keys at amazon. A 128 GB PNY (very fast) and 2 Sandisk ultra fit (32 GB and 128 GB). The Sandisk 128 GB must errors about 114 Go in 115 GB of total space. I plan to replace with amazon, but wonder it is possible to download some software from Sandisk to try to 'fix' the faulty unit. I've never done this before, where my question. I read on some overheating problems on this forum that could be the cause of the cells fried in flash. I don't know anything about, but it raises concerns about the ability to keep the camera steady for the 5-year warranty you provide. I have reflected on a downloadable software on your Internet site for repair, but found none. Could you please answer to, it is possible to fix it or if I better return it for a refund and get another brand or maybe even just a simple replacement. Speed of 4K of the 128 GB it is half that of the 32 GB (read and write - 3½MB/s against 7 Mbps and 2 Mbps vs. 4 MB/s). Usable storage of 128 GB of Sandisk's 115GB. The PNY 128 GB usable storage is 126 GB. The issue of size is of no interest, just raise it now that I had a problem. However, the issue of speed could be linked to the flash error and raise a few red flags.

    Thank you

    Kasper Lindvig

I'm not aware of all solve this software for your problem, and even if there is I would not recommend it for a new purchase.  What you bought seems to be used or defective and I return it.  And I would buy one that follows from a different source.

You also have the option to send it to SanDisk for a replacement, who will be guaranteed is not a used one.

  • SanDisk 4 GB Ultra II Compactflash (15 MB/sec) capacity memory card problem

I have Canon EOS 350 d (Rebel XT) and Sandisk 4 GB Ultra II Compactflash (15 MB/s) memory card and I was using this card with my camera almost 3 years.

I have no problem and it has worked great so far.

This is my problem: I am inserting my Sandisk 4 GB Ultra II Compactflash (15 MB/s) memory card to my camera and start shooting. After 70-80 photos he says CF card is full!

When I insert the card into the card reader on my computer (which was the same computer and the same card reader), it shows that 1 GB of the card is full, but when I check the properties of the map on my PC it shows 4 GB...

I have already formatted (FAT32) and tried the same results, but it... It gets only 1 GB of photos...

I tried to format it in different formats E.g., FAT, FAT32... Same result...

I don't know if it's related but 3 months ago I bought a USB card reader so I can transfer my pictures on my laptop when I travel... It's called Sunpak 72 in 1 card reader... I used my card with this drive, and it is the quick read as HELL! I was very happy with it, but now I think that if this card reader is originally anyting? I don't know maybe not relevant...

While the guys do you think? What can be the problem and what could be the solution?

    Thank you in advance...

    Best regards...

Here's something you can try to test the map. put it in the computer and format it. Make sure that the map shows the amount of space available. This should be 3.75 GB of something similar. If it's showing corectly then use computer data and copy of the card. Fill the card completely full. Then look at the properties and see if the card can be filled to capacity.

  • SanDisk Ultra 32 gb, looks like a removable disk but not volume

    Hello

I am new to this forum and have traveled all over and the rest of the internet to find a solution but could not find something that works.

I have a few readers Sandisk Ultra 32 GB Ultra (not back to the top of those).  They worked fine for the last year or two, but recently I can't display the data on my Vista 64 bit PC.

They show as a removable drive and when I click on them, they show as empty.  I look at the properties and both used space and free space is 0.

In Device Manager, they show under hard drives.  I tried to change the drive (as well as the removal of the letter) letters and nothing seems to show the volume.   It seemed to me remember what they used to appear under my front USB controllers, so I wonder if things now of Vista, it's a different type of player.

There are video files on the disks and I have confirmed that they work because I can still play the USB drives via my USB drives BluRay port.

I uninstalled the drive then plugged found Vista and then he said that he successfully installed the driver and back in.  There are no conflicts in Device Manager when it is plugged.

I have used other USB drives (thought the USB port was dead) and 3 other discs (2 other Sandisk and 1 Kingston) times Plug and work perfectly.  It's only the Sandisk Ultra that I have the problem with.  Other Sandisk 2 those who are not of the Ultra.

I tried to copy files to the disc just to check if it was reading wrong volume, but it actually gets a message that the location of my source files is missing, which is strange because I can move the files to other drives or places, but she only errors when I try and place it on the Ultra with volume 0.

I'm totally stumped.  I hope someone can help.

I should just wait a few more minutes to do a little more research.

    My apologies.

The questions got Samsung Kies.  I stopped the process running in the background and it worked perfectly.

    Everything was good.

    Feel bad display.

  • SanDisk Ultra Backup 8 GB USB unable to view copied files unless the originals are still on the PC HARD drive?

This could be me be stupid... but please humor if I am because I'm not supertechie - but I'm backup me of my hard drive on the SanDisk Ultra Backup USB drive using "SanDisk Backup" - if I leave the copies of the files on my disk hard original PC (the folder I'm backup of) I am able to view the files on the Flash drive.  If I delete the original files from the PC, I only have the ability to restore files from the USB Flash drive?

The question of having an external device is to take the PC files and use elsewhere?  Is it possible to display the files on the USB key that you need to keep the original files on your PC?

SanDisk memory card Ultra Plus sdxc 64 GB not recognized by PC even if PC shows these letters on the front of the hard drive. From time to time I can get it to recognize the memory card but mostly not. Then I manually to the top of my camera (Canon T3i) onto the PC and make my photos to the PC camera is very heavy! Does anyone have this problem? I can't find anything online that answers my question. TYIA solution to anyone.

Simple solution is to buy one of these small memory card readers.  Costs about $5.  Plug the memory card on it.  Plug it into a USB port.

If still not recognized, the memory card must be reformatted or replaced.
