Sansa fuze shows no audio books

Although I can see the audiobook folder and audible with a computer I can't read them. I've updated to V01.02.31, but that did not help. Internal information audiobooks are recorded. Someone has an idea for me? Rockbox help?

After you have selected the music, you'll see a play list all recently added, artists, albums, songs, genres, my most popular playlists, podcasts, audio books, records, files. Choose audiobooks from the list. It seems odd that Sandisk programmers consider audio books and podcasts as of genres of music.

  • Sansa fuze: show covers audio books

I would like to see the covers of my audio books on my rocket. I put a jpg file in a subfolder of audio books where the audio book is stored with the the same base name as the audio files. But now the coverage will be shown. I have to use a special naming or the jpg format convention in order to Show up on top of the "rocket"?

Audio books can display just like any audio file.  Just be sure that the image is not too large.

Here are a few videos.  This first one is about how to add album art in MSC mode , and this one is specific to the use of the mode MTP.

When it comes to simplicity, I use MTP mode mainly, I like Rhapsody and Audible, and this means that the MTP mode for transfers.  MTP mode has advantages and disadvantages, but transfer album art is certainly a plus.

  • What Sansa is better for Audio books?

Hi - I'm new on the forum 'Hello' to everyone and I hope you can help me!

Not only am I back on the forum I'm new in the world of MP3 players - I never thought I want one, but I decided that I do - not particularly for music but for audio books.

After having narrowed down my choice of a Sandisk player, I'd be happy to have some tips about what is the best of a Clip + and Fuze + for audio books?

    TIA

Just my opinion. If I were you, however, I would travel even if the jury Fuze + and perhaps use the search box on the two cards to "audiobooks" and see what happens; I know there have been lots of discussions. This way you can get valuable insights into others and an idea of what to expect from these two players.

  • iTunes 12.4.1.6 and other recent versions not showing audio books in the tab of the authors.

iTunes 12.4.1.6 and recent versions shows no audio books in the tab of the authors. He is used to. This change means that the only way to display the audio books via a massive list or a grid, which, if you have a large collection of audio books is a pain. Is this a bug? Is there a solution? Or is it a permanent loss of capacity.

Apple has indicated that you are not satisfied with this change.

  • Sansa clip + does not see the audio books I have loaded

I got my Sansa Clip MP3 player + for two years and it works very well, so far.  I only use it for audio books.  Recently, I reformatted the player and loaded new books in.  When I went to read, the audio books folder was empty.  I have connected the player to the computer again, and the books were in the audio books folder, where I had loaded.

I've updated the firmware to the V01.02.16A Version, and there was no change.  I tried to reset by pressing the start button. No change.

Memory has 3750 MB with 3135 free, indicating that there are books in memory, but the player does not see the.  What is going on?

That's all!  I checked the format of audio files.  It is the AAFC, with suffix .m4a.

    The Sansa manual says:

"The Sansa® MP3 Player will support MP3, WAV, WMA, secure WMA, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and audiobook formats.  I guess that AAC is not one of the formats that they support.  So I have to convert .m4a to .mp3.  I guess there are a lot of tools to do it.  Any suggestions about which one is the best?

Thanks a lot for this revelation.

  • Sansa Clip does not pass the stage of audio books

    Dear all,

We have the problem that our Sansa Clip will not skip chapters of audiobooks. If you hold the buttons, fast towards the front/rewinds, but if you just click on it once, nothing happens. It is only in the audio books and Podcasts, but not in music.

However, we have already owned a Sansa Clip 8 GB, which worked very well. Then we bought a second one (also 8GB) with the problem described. The strange thing: the same audio books work very well on the other Sansa Clip (same firmware version). Also strange: jump works with music files, so it may not be a hardware failure. However, we discovered this last don't bit recently, we already have it back and got another Sansa Clip 8 GB (third). Yet once again, jump does not work. I am suspecting that something with the files is wrong, but I'm intrigued by the fact that they work very well on our first Clip. They all have the same age, our first clip is just a couple of weeks and they all came from the same supplier (Amazon), so I guess it's the same batch.

    The clues someone?

    Thank you very much
    André

I think that you have access to the setting if you press the button in the 6 oclock position while playing an audio book. I think that there is a choice of menu for the settings of the audio book or chapter. I don't have the video right in front of me now, so I'm not sure about this.

  • Sansa Clip - lose track chapter marks within audible audio books

    Hello

When I got my clip audio books, I downloaded displayed on several tracks in the breast of every file that was great to navigate around from chapter to chapter. However, for some reason, I can't work, this is no longer the case - the issuance of titles like 1: 1 instead of 1/15 for a book divided into 15 tracks. It is not a problem with the audio files as the same files that do more to display with chapters.

I was wondering if it could be linked to a firmware update that I did at the time (what it is come up with in the box to 2.1.32)-it coincided with the appearance of a subfolder called «audible» audio books

I tried: update firmware, initialization parameters, reformatting, change the USB mode, change the synchronization software (audible manager/WMP/zune). Nothing appears in the manual or the forums on this issue am at my wits end with!

Can I revert to an earlier version of the firmware to see if it suits it? The best suggestions?

    Jess

    The mode chapter?

On an audio book, press the arrow down bringing Audiobook options

    Select Mode chapter on

Press the Menu key to regularize

If you format or other changes do major you must reset the mode of feeding for 1 to 5 minutes AND the chapter Mode.

    Hope this helps,

  • Audio books for Fuze

Audio books can be obtained from sources other than SEO? I do not think that I could use them too often and prefer to buy them one at a time, not a monthly subscription. (or download for free if possible)

I would check with your library, my library has a web page that I can download free audio books from my rocket.

  • Audio book in failure

First time in the display, so if I did something wrong I will apologize. I tried to solve this problem through other e-mails and tips etc, so kind of tired.

I tried to review some of the related posts, but still, it doesn't make sense as to what went wrong.

    Here's the question:

I have a Sansa Fuze 4 GB, aged from a few months and it has worked perfectly! I use it mainly download audio books from my library using Overdrive Media Console software. I quickly learned after useful comments how to load books into the Audiobook folder properly and they run a lot! So the long and short of it is that I decided that I would like to buy one for my mother. I downloaded a book for her in mine to give it a try and BINGO, it is upwards! Nothing is different, same settings, same download location, same format file and instead, the book appears 8/8, rather than 1/8. When it comes to the end, instead of moving forward, he's going to pause, then stops. I removed and loaded again and the same thing. In the meantime, however, I had downloaded a book for me and that was very good and I'm listening with no problems. It's what makes no sense. I tried to download the other 2 books, and again, I have the same problem in the mess. I read on the tag information, but they are WMA files and also I never had any problems. Everything has always been great, but not now.

I hope that gives you enough information. Have to get it resolved or I'll take hers because she can't deal with any kind of technical frustration.

.wma files too have tags. And if a man does not have track numbers, they do not play in the right order. This book was obviously mislabelled.

You can edit the tags (same .wma tags) with mp3tag.

  • Where is my audio book

I am a newbie to MP3.  I downloaded an audiobook, but my audiobook on the Sansa file shows empty.  I know it's somewhere, because when I drag and drop here once again, I wonder if I want to replace it.  Where can I find it?

You must put your audio book in the AudioBook folder. If you do not have this folder, update the latest software update Sansa firmware.

  • Can the Sandisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB MP3 read podcasts one after the other

For health reasons, I need to take a long walk after each meal.  For many years during my walks that I listened to podcasts on my wonderful old Sandisk sansa, who plays a podcast after the other without action from me until I have stop.  It's perfect here in the North when I walk in 30 below zero weather. I mean that I don't want to open my parka and out the player to move to the next podcast.  If I had to do, they would find me lying in the snow, Frost, like all the rest of those poor Devils who bought the wrong MP3 player.  Anyway, after years of using the plug-in on my old Sansa fuze is pretty much exhausted and the player must be replaced.  I buy a sansa clip, but had to return when I discovered that he has not played podcasts one after the other, automatically. (And it's also too small for my needs).  Before you buy a new 4 GB sansa fuse, so I need to know if this greatest player will play my podcasts consecutively and one after the other.  Your advice would be much appreciated.

I currently use the Sansa e250 2 GB MP3 Fuze player Walkman.

There is an e250 (2 GB) and a rocket. They are 2 totally different players. The "rocket" (original) replaced the e200 series model.

But if your podcasts are placed in the Podcast folder (or even record Audio books) and then ranked in the same "Album" folder, they must play consecutively without stopping, regardless of the model of reader.

  • How create Audio books-WMP12-like an Album

Is this possible? Using WMP12/Win 7 / Sansa Fuze... I currently have rip audio books (for example, a book with 9 discs). Do drag each disc "torn" to create a playlist... then sync on the ROCKET. Result: 9 different albums (1 for each disk).

Problem is that when I listen to it, the player will stop at the end of each album (disc) and I have to remind what (disc) album is planned, and then manually start this one.

This isn't a huge problem - at least I can listen to books - but it's a pain-in-the-neck on audio books for the library.

When I download audio books - via Overdrive (local library has an online allowing the download system) - books are loaded on my ROCKET as an album... so can play any book at all times.

  • 'Forward' to move to the next audio file button does not work with audio books.

    Hi all

My first problem I can't understand mine. I did a search through old messages using several key words and couldn't find it.

    -Sansa Fuze worm-1...

    -New firmware dated 12/27/09

    Mode - MSC

I buy the audio book CD and then extract them to MP3 so I can listen to on the "rocket". I put all the MP3 of the book in a directory, use Mp3tag to put in place a track number, title, author, and such then I drag the folder to the folder "audiobook" on the "rocket".

I start to play the first file, and most things work very well. The documents in the file and I cannot FF or REW in this file. When this file is complete, the "rocket" ahead to the next file of its own. Bookmarking works fine. When I try to use the 'next' button to move to the next file, however, nothing happens. If I try to use the 'back' button to go to the previous file, nothing happens. Very strange.

The button works fine when I'm listening to MP3 music. I can jump forward or backward through the tracks normally. It is the same with podcasts.

I don't normally jump before the audio book titles, but sometimes I'll do it if I lose interest in the book and hope to find something more interesting on a next track.

Thanks in advance for any help with this one.

    See you soon.

Generic audio books works a little bit differently from the Audible.  New audio book functionality, allowing any type of playable, always has the option of cool chapter mode, but it functiond otherwise than by playing an Audible book.

Sound files have chapter breaks that can be selected in the part of the main work.  "Regular" audio books have just chapter-titles.  Try to select the chapter mode; It affects to jump between tracks.
