  Hello. This is my first time on a forum, and my English is bad.
  I tried to install a card PCMCIA 4 port USB 2 (hw & sw) on my Satellite 2410 413 in order to use a dongle of DTV (hw & sw).

  Believe me on this path it is not easy to say why this happens. Toshiba is perhaps responsible for the functionality of PCMCIA card, but not used the card.

  I have a portable satellite 1900-803. I recently bought and installed a Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Notebook Card, but it does not work.   Have you checked the Bios? I guess that the Bios Toshiba was preinstalled on your laptop. Am I wrong? There should be an option to change the PC Card controller mode.

  Here, you can change the mode of the automatic selection, CCIP compatible controller or card bus/16-bit.
  If the card supports 32-bit so you should use the 16-bit option.

  I think you should play a little with this option and possibly that the card will work.

  If you can not use the driver from Toshiba, it is without doubt that the pilot is not suitbable for you. Toshiba has a lot of brands for Satellite L305, you may need to look at the correct driver for your model. From my experience, apart from the value Pack provided by Toshiba, I'll use Windows Vista update to find the most recent and correct drivers and download driver GP of supplier of the graphics card for my laptop after each new installation.
