  I just got a new Palm Centro (Verizon) and I have been searching for useful applications. I found the eReader application (from eReader.com and the page of Palm) and thought ebooks on my Palm would be neat. I downloaded and installed eReader Pro and also downloaded a few books of free - ebooks .net

  I opened the file eReader and books, double-clicked on the. The PRC files (that added to the Palm install tool) and sync my Centro with my computer (although USB, all installed to internal memory)

  When he finished I loaded eReader on my Centro and was greeted with the banner: "this device has no installed books."

  I tried:

  -New books (although all of free - .net ebooks)

  -Move the files on an SD card in the root, PALM/Launcher and PALM/BOOKS folder

  I'm not sure of what could be the problem. eReader will not let me browse for the files, there not everywhere where I put them, and I can't find an another ebook reader. I spent the last few hours looking for potential answers with google and this forum, but I found nothing. Any assistance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!

  The HARD drive slot is placed at the bottom of the unit. You don't have to remove the screw holding the cover of the slot. Then, you can simply remove the HARD drive.

  My computer has stopped recognizing all external hard drives.

  I went and deleted the line of the registry and it fixed. You can always do an export of the registry before deleting anything out if it messes up you can always import again.
