Satellite 1620CDS - need Multimedia Audio Driver for Windows 2000 Pro

I recently had to reinstall my laptop Satellite 1620CDS with Windows 2000 Pro, but I can't locate the multimedia Audio device driver! and as such I have no sound.

Any advice on how I could find this driver, would be much appreciated...

Just FYI: your laptop has Crystal 4281 audio card. I hope you find the driver on the page given by the previous user. It is in the list.

    Hi Jonathan Wilson,.

I checked the page of Australian driver download Toshiba where your laptop model is listed and it seems that there is no Windows 7 driver for the moment :(

Theoretically you can also use the drivers from the European page, where you can get Windows 7 drivers for Satellite P100, model nr. PSPA6E.

  • HP Pavilion 23 AiO need USB 3 Driver for Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

    Hello

I need driver USB for HP Pavilion 23 AiO for Windows 7 64 bit. I tried to install the chipset and USB drivers on the HP driver Web site, but he says that I don't have perfectly meets the requirements for installation?

    Hardware ID

    PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & SUBSYS_2AEE103C & REV_03
    PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & SUBSYS_2AEE103C
    PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & CC_0C0330
    PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 & CC_0C03

OK, so I'm done fixing this problem. Because there, anyone having the same problem as me, here is how I did it.

Assuming that you are trying to install the USB 3 on Windows 7 64 bit drivers...

    1. go here and download the Original Texas Instruments USB controller driver

    2. before executing the downloaded file (sp57875.exe), click on Start/Run then type folder and press ENTER.

    3. run the executable file (sp57875.exe). You will notice the content excerpt in the TEMP directory % opened in a randomly named folder.

4 copy the entire folder on your desktop and then cancel the rest of the installation.

    5. go into your configuration/system control panel and Device Manager/security

    6. right click on the USB controller in Device Manager and click on Update driver software...

    7. click Browse my computer for driver software

8 go to the desktop where you put the TEMP folder and select the src directory

This should do the trick. I had to repeat 6,7,8 for all USB drivers that were not installed correctly. You can get a uknown device show up once you apply the first installation, just repeat steps 7,8,9 on the unknown device and it will install the USB 3.0 hub.

    I hope this helps.

  • T430u Audio driver for Windows 8.1

Hello. When Lenovo will get out a compatible audio driver Windows 8.1 for T430u? I'm looking forward to upgrade to 8.1 Windows but found that no audio driver for T430u supports Windows 8.1 of the Lenovo Web site.

Please update the audio driver for Windows 8.1, please take care.

    Hello

Welcome to the Community Forums of Lenovo!

Apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for the patience. Windows 8.1 is totally new approach and cannot be considered only as an update for Windows 8. Therefore, compatible drivers needs to be rethought so that they work properly in Windows 8.1. From now on, I can't engage the exact date of arrival of the missing drivers for T430u. You can expect it in the next few days, perhaps a week or even a month to release full and final of all drivers.

    Best regards

    Mithun.

  • can I download a multimedia audio controller for windows XP

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DOWNLOAD A MULTIMEDIA AUDIO CONTROLLER FOR WINDOWS XP SERVICE PACK 2.

THE SOUND ON MY PC HAS GONE ALTOGETHER.

IF SO, HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT THIS. (BIT OF A NOVICE WITH THE COMPUTER).

    Hi gordonknott,

Yes you can. You have two choices... you can tell us the brand and model of your computer so that we can help you get the correct driver or you can visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer to find and download the latest drivers from device to your system.

I noticed that you don't have to update your system with the latest service pack. I would say that while you're there, you must download and install Windows XP SP3 for better security for your system from the link provided below.

    Windows XP SP3.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=24

Ignore the warning about network facilities and professionals of computer and when its been install, visit windows update to get the latest updates and security patches.

Good luck and let us know if this helped.

I can't Flash the bios with BD1_BIOS (V4.80) _Update (is it possible to install the sound card?)

    THx for any help

    Hi Salomon82,

I created a similar thread about audio drivers for Windows 7 on Satellite P100:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=191495𮰇

It seems that the Vista driver works also on Windows 7! :)

In addition it s not necessary to update the BIOS for the installation of sound card drivers because first of all, you should try the correct driver.

  • Conexant Audio Driver for Windows 7

    Hi all

I am a user of HP Pavilion dv1000 laptop (PR428UA #ABA), which is a very primitive model, but after upgrade the RAM to 1 GB, I changed the OS from Win XP to Win 7, and it's useful for now. In my view, that it is faster than when it was on XP.

    The problem is, I can't get the audio driver Conexant Cx20468 @ Intel 82801DBM ICH4-M - AC 97 Audio Controller [B-1], for Windows 7.

Yes, I already checked several messages in this forum and tried the similar drivers such as sp40270.exe or sp37816.exe.

    But it does not work.

What I have to give up this challenge because he's too old for laptop?

    Thank you.

    Hi, Jun:

Sorry, that didn't work. I was hoping he would because it was an AC-97 audio driver.

I have another simple idea that you can try.

If you have your laptop connected to the internet, click the audio device in Device Manager. Click the driver tab click on Update driver. Select the automatic search method and I hope that Windows Update will download and install an audio driver for it.

I'm sure that your laptop should be able to run Windows 7, including audio.

If this does not work, try this method of complicated... change the driver XP for work in W7... but you should be able to do. Just follow the instructions carefully:

    1. download the sp30399 driver.   You can get it here:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-31530-1 & LC = on & CC = US & DLC = in & Product = 1816346 & os = 228 & lang = in

    2. run sp30399.exe.

3 go to the extracted folder (default location is: c:\SWSetup\sp30399)

    4. change qta3091.inf:
    Search code block:
    [Conexant]
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_4370 & SUBSYS_3091103C

and add this line to the title:
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_10B9 & DEV_5451 & SUBSYS_0024103C & REV_02

So the result would look like this:
    [Conexant]
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_4370 & SUBSYS_3091103C
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_10B9 & DEV_5451 & SUBSYS_0024103C & REV_02

Note: Copy this part of the Device Manager > Multimedia Audio Controller > Details > hardware ID:
    PCI\VEN_10B9 & DEV_5451 & SUBSYS_0024103C & REV_02

You can have a slightly different description of the device. If you want to be sure, go to Device Manager, open the properties of the audio device not recognized, select the "Détails" tab and select "Hardware ID" in the drop-down list properties drop-down list. Copy the listed top hardware ID string and replace the description of device I wrote above, with one you see.

So the final result is as follows (if you have a description of different device.):
    [Conexant]
    % * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_4370 & SUBSYS_3091103C
% * WDM_AMCAUD. DeviceDesc%=WDM_AMCAUD,PCI\VEN_INSERT YOUR DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE ID

    5. now, all you have to do is to install the driver manually through the Device Manager (Driver tab > update driver > select manual installation method and browse to the extracted driver folder (sp30399).)

Good luck and please let us know if you get the sound to work.
