  TOSHIBA SD-R2212
  Matsu * a UJDA740 *.
  TEAC DW-224TH *.
  (*: any letters or numbers)

  So if you are looking for a player with Google you should find a few online shops or you contact an authorized service provider to get a new drive.

• Satellite 2410-504 - second need recovery disk

  I have to restart my laptop with the recovery discs, but unfortunately I don't have that Disc 1 (not sure what happened to disc2).

  Someone at - it a copy of the 2 disc, they can let me borrow (I promise I will return it).
  Toshiba say that they do not have in stock but can get within 28 days, but I can't wait that long.

  By the way; You can also install a clean Windows operating system and then you can download the drivers from the European pilot of Toshiba page. Take a look in the * folder of ARCHIVE!

  Hello guys,.

  As I did 3 or 4 times before, I tried to reformat my laptop.

  This time the cd player refused to read a file from the second CD and after several tests, the installation failed for good.
  The HARD drive is already formatted and not even part of the system already installed but I can't boot up the laptop.

  I have not experienced problems reading cd or dvd's before so I guess that the 2nd CDs are defective.
  However, I tried to start again, but the Tower hangs at startup without having read the first CD. In short, he's dead.

• Satellite Pro A60: hinges are broken - need new parts

  I have a satellite Pro A60, unfortunately no longer under warranty. One of the screws which fix the hinges to the frame has sheared which means the hinge must be replaced.

  When I removed the top cover (it covers a bunch of inches at the back of the laptop, I noticed the two hinges were cracked.) This allows the hinge of the left hand to oscillate (as the only thing now that the screen of the laptop is the only one to live.

  Basically the two hinges need to be replaced because the only thing now the screen of the laptop (on the right side) is the clip on the cover! It works pretty well, but of course it will put additional pressure on the left side then, probably won't be too long prior to the screw on the left side shears off.

  any kind soul here would know the numbers for the left and right hinges?

  I didn t find all downloads on the Toshiba page and I guess that these manuals are designed only for the FSA and not for public use

  I have a portable Satellite 2410-504 and I was looking for to increase the memory, I am a Novice with computers, I decided to remove the Module that is already in place (to see if I was capable of employment)

  After removing and then returning the Module, then I went to turn on the laptop and Yes you guessed it, NOTHING!
  The power lights are on and the light comes on but the screen is blank and there are no hard disk activity.

  Now, trying to get back on my actions, I have been unable to completely remove the battery but I'm sure that he slipped on the connectors.
  Could I have caused permanent damage or are my actions retreivable.

  Hello everyone, I have a Toshiba Satellite 2410-s205 and it has installed windows xp home. It started to freeze and go slowly. Then I ran adaware and clean it. I installed spybot s & d and after update adware programs I tried to restart the computer and it froze. I shut it down using the power button, but now it does not restart.

  When you press the power button, there is no fan activity, only on dvd rom light and goes back to the wide. Does anyone have an idea on what I can verify. Memory, Cpu, etc or what could be the problem.

  The battery has a full charge, more I plugged it. The led does not illuminate when you press the power button.

  But it's not easy to verify no additional experience.
